The rating on this beach is very subjective depending upon what you have and what you are looking for. The shoreline there is about 50 feet wide at best. There is a small parking lot with port-a-john, then a small stretch of grassy area, with about last 6-8 feet with sand at the shoreline. I guess you could watch freighters go by as someone said ... but you will need to bring your own chairs or sit in car at parking lot. No Tables or Benches. If you don't have some other place I guess kids could go swim there but not much sand for building sand castles and it turns to muddy sand pretty quick once in water.

Nice place to watch the vessels go by. Fun place to swim. Unfortunately the beach has gone downhill in the past few years. The people living nesr the beach are not friendly.

I'd give it a 4 after I took about about 800-1000 good size and small sharp rocks out by hand and glass, should really be dredged for a better swimming experience.and then a better rating 😪😀

About 50 feet of shoreline, no picnic amenities, some glass on the beach.

This is a nice little beach tucked away. Quiet and not a lot of people.

Cute little beach, portajohns and great parking! There is a grassy area then a bit of sand to play on. Watch freighters go by as you swim, or pull up to rest during a kayak trip like we did!

Beautiful but better when the water level is down.

This beach is nicely maintained. I was surprised at how high the water level is this year. In the past, you could wade out quite far, not now.

Beautiful, but SUPER COLD!!! I've been by once a month since summer started and it's been the same temperature every time! It's cool to just sit and watch boats go by, but if you're wanting to actually swim, I wouldn't recommend it.
