The location was great, easy walking to everything. The rooms were nice and cozy. I didn’t mind the no contact check in policy, but it would have been nice to see a friendly face. The first morning the breakfast was served at 8:30. The hostess only asked us if we needed anything else. She never tried to have a conversation with us. I’m use to B&B hostess having a welcoming conversation with you, didn’t get it here. The next morning, we were planning to leave after breakfast, which is to be served at 8:30-9:30. We went downstairs at 8:40, no breakfast. The tables were not set up, no coffee pot or creamer in the breakfast area. We came back down at 9:00, still no breakfast. We put the keys on the table & left. This is a nice & clean place to stay but there is no personal contact. The reason we prefer to stay in a B&B is for personal contact with the host/hostess and made to feel welcome. Didn’t feel that we got that on our visit.

Not the Ritz Carlton, but if you're into B& B's, you could do a lot worse. You may have to check in on your own, find your room, climb steep stairs. Also TV virtually impossible to figure out unless you're thoroughly familiar with Direct TV system. We couldn't find an individual room thermostat so I presume it doesn't exist. Limited parking. But hosts are gracious. Location is perfect. Breakfast is interesting. It's all about charm of a family-centric inn and togetherness with other guests.

We loved this place. It's obviously quite old, but also quite clean and quiet. The beds are large, firm, and comfortable, and our room was quite large with lots of windows. The hosts, Rob and Angela, were not there to greet us since we arrived early, but we were given easy instructions on how to come in, and we were free to explore the downstairs. Parking is provided in back, off the street, which was nice. We saw Rob and Angela that afternoon when cookies, tea, and wine was set out for guests to enjoy. We asked lots of questions and they were full of information about the house, it's history, and the history of the neighborhood. We also got information on local attractions and restaurants. We had already booked a couple of tours, but we noted Rob and Angela kindly booked tours and printed tickets for other guests so they wouldn't have to do that on their own. The breakfasts were very nice, with lots of variety. They had two adorable, friendly schnauzers that my wife and I loved to pet and play with. Overall, we had a great time and I would recommend this B&B.

Great location just a short walk from any downtown activities or sight seeing. The rooms were big and clean and had such a wonderful southern charm to them. The breakfast cooks were great too!

The Inn was charming and our room was very comfortable. Rob & Angela made us feel very welcome. They helped us getting the tickets and we were able to board the Old Town Trolley near the Inn. The breakfast we had both mornings were very good. Good location in the historic district, free parking, and walking distance to restaurants, etc. There were delicious cookies set out all day. We recommend staying at the Green Palm Inn! Thank you again, Rob & Angela!

Our stay at the Green Palm Inn was awesome!! We have stayed at many B&Bs and this one is clearly our new favorite. Angela and Rob are gracious and friendly hosts and we enjoyed getting to know them. The breakfasts were beautiful, delicious and quite filling. The decor of the inn was very thoughtfully done and beautiful and so very inviting. We loved the classic Savannah style. The beds are super comfy and provided us great nights’ sleep so we were ready each day for exploring the beautiful city. And a shout out to Nicole for keeping our rooms so fresh and clean—and ohh those delicious cookies!!! I hope we will have an opportunity to visit Savannah again and if so we will definitely hope to stay at Green Palm Inn!!!

We celebrated our “45th” Anniversary at the Green Palm Inn March 18-21st and had an amazing time. Rob and Angela were the best hosts, our room was beautiful and the breakfast was delicious. We recommend this Bed and Breakfast to our family, friends and everyone that will be visiting Savannah. The location is walkable to so many restaurants and River Street. Thank you Herb and DONNA

Rob and Angela were wonderful hosts. They were warm, informative about activities in the area and gave us recommendations for restaurants. The breakfasts were wonderful. I am both gluten and lactose intolerant and they worked very hard to present a breakfast to me everyday that looked almost exactly the same as the other breakfasts. We so appreciated their heart of service. Great find!

We had a great experience with our stay. Great space. Nice and clean. Breakfast was delightful. Close enough to walk to E River and to City Market. We would definitely stay there again.

This was our 3rd b&b experience, but 2nd this year. Comparisons are drawn to other b&bs, but not to standard hotels also (which feels like apples and oranges). We liked Green Palm and would stay there again, if again in Savannah. Looks like the property was originally a semi-detached duplex, now joined and carved into six generous bedroom suites. The building appears to date from roughly around the turn of the 20th century, but nevertheless has central AC, modern TVs and other 21st century amenities. Our room generally was quiet, though we did hear another guest's early AM departure. The bathroom was clean and adequate, but stepping into and out of the tub required deft balance (big step, no handrails). Inhouse wireless did NOT work during our stay, which we judged to be minor and easily correctable. The owner subscribes to a version of cable/satallite TV that does not offer major network programming. We visited during the World Series and found we could not watch because the subscription to the local over-the-air Fox station had not been bought. Conversely, streaming services (Netflix, etc) were available. A nice touch was a powerful ceiling fan. Being cool at night is key to a quality night sleep for us and this made for great nights. The highlight of the Green Palm experience certainly was the breakfast. The young lady who prepares the meals is an accomplished and imaginative chef. Servings were hot, ample and tasty without being over the top in terms of size or exotic ingredients. She also is extremely personable, and is the only member of management, owership or staff who we met during our three-day stay. Green Palm is well positioned geographically in Savannah - many attractions, restaurants and tourist destinations are within 1 10-to-15 minute nice walk. Stop 13 of the Old Town Trolley is 5 minutes away, making that system also a convenient way to get around. We elected not to move our car, because Green Palm offers fewer on-premises parking spots than rooms. We were lucky to snag one, and did not give it up. Security is solid and modern - your cellphone number also works the keypads by the door. On balance, the minor flaws are easily corrected and we would recommend Green Palm without hesitation.

Green Palm Inn is a charming and cozy bed and breakfast located in the heart of Savannah, Georgia. The inn is housed in a beautifully restored historic building and offers comfortable and well-appointed rooms that are tastefully decorated with a classic Southern charm. The innkeeper is friendly and knowledgeable, providing excellent recommendations and suggestions for things to do and see in the area. The breakfasts are delicious and homemade, with a variety of options that cater to different dietary needs and preferences. The location is ideal, just a short walk from many of Savannah's top attractions, including Forsyth Park and the historic district. The prices are reasonable for the quality of accommodations and amenities, making it a great value for your money. Overall, Green Palm Inn is a wonderful choice for anyone looking for a cozy and welcoming place to stay in Savannah.

We had an amazing time at the Green Palm Inn. Angela and Rob were wonderful! The breakfast was delicious, and the hospitality was excellent! We stayed in the Sago Palm Suite and loved our room! The complimentary wine social was wonderful as well! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and we’ll definitely be back!
