Such a good place to hang out and look for Merapi view from the distance. It's recommended to visit in the early morning or just right before the dusk, when the weather is good, you can see great view of Merapi and stunning sky in the dusk. Well, can I say it's okey to make it into jogging track surrounding the embung. Some games for kids offered there, like see saw, swings, jungle gym. Some food stalls are also available which are open after 8 am.

I've been here twice.. The first time I didn't get a good view and the last time I came here I got a really nice view of Mount Merapi Merbabu.

The place is clean, there are prayer rooms, rubbish bins, there are several food stalls but when I went there they weren't open yet, when I came here it happened to be cloudy so I couldn't see the beautiful view of Merapi and Merbabu... when do I want to come here again so I can get a beautiful view of Mount Merapi Merbabu. ..

I didn't expect this place to be so beautiful. There is a dam, there is a gate like in Bali, you can go outbound too. If the monument to the north of the embung/dam which is currently under construction is finished, I'm sure this place will be even more beautiful.
