I haven't had much experience with Jewelry stores but my experience with Zales was one of the worst customer service experiences that I have had in general. Update: after my review the regional manager reached out and they resolved the issue very professionally.

Customer service is TERRIBLE! I called to see if they had an item in stock and I was treated like an annoyance. The conversation literally went something like this... Me: "Hi, do you have the earrings with the stock number XXX in stock? Zales: "Did you check the website?" Me: "No I'm not in front of a computer, I wrote the stock number down earlier" Zales: "You know you can check that on your phone to" Me: "Can you please check for me?" Zales: "I'm sorry we have no way to check out stock over the phone, if you want you can come in and check, have a good day" CLICK!

Very unhappy with the salesman's attitude today. I walked in and he asked what the occasion was. I told him I was looking for an anniversary gift for my wife, to which he replied "How long have you been putting up with her". I find this to be extremely rude and after informing him that we have a wonderful marriage, I left. Please have respect for your customers if you want to keep their business.

I recently got married, so my husband bought my bridal ring set from here. I’ve barely worn the ring 2 days and 2 stones have fallen out. My husband did pay for warranty. However when I went in to Zales to see if it anything they can do. They say I have to pay for the stone replacements. The ring was JUST purchased, it shouldn’t have stones falling out. That’s faulty products.

Amazingly friendly and helpful staff. I first came in to get my ring resized and Liz gave me a ring guard to hold me over until the holidays. The ring guard broke since I work in the medical field and I’m constantly using gloves. I went back to get it resized for good this time and I had the pleasure of working with Bob. He was very personable and very knowledgeable. He even guessed my ring size ! He made the process very smooth and easy but also talked me though everything. I will definitely keep Bob and this location in mind for future purchases !

Do not have your jewelry shipped to this store. When you get the messages saying the items are in store they aren’t. When they say they have been delivered they are mysteriously missing. I am very dissatisfied with this service. Now I have to wait up to 5 days to talk to someone about the items they claim UPS lost. They are also not willing to price match what I paid for them with the same items in the store.

Now I have been shopping at Zales for about 5 years now. I have gotten myself items as well as family and friends. BUT the last two times customer service here at Menlo have disappointed and offended me. So last year I got earrings and the sales rep said the price very aggressively but I took very little offense. THIS go round I was taking my time as usual, more than the sales rep wanted I guess but I don't care, I'm buying jewelry I want to keep for YEARS. This woman had no patience for me and straight up argued with me about the size of the ring and asked me my budget (I didn't have one). I currently am wearing 4 zales rings and a necklace. I wanted to get a new pair of earrings and a new ring for my birthday. I work at a jewelry store (Malabar Gold and Diamonds) but have loyalty to zales. I understand the average size is 6 or 7 so when I asked to see the second ring she refused to show it to me for the size and I asked her if she was sure it was a size 7 because i have multiple rings that do and do not fit my pointer finger so instead of getting nasty with me she could've just showed it to me because I was going to buy that ring. She walked away from me and took someone else so i gathered my Michael Kors purse and went straight outside to Banter (previously Pagoda) and explained to them how I was treated. I ended up spending more at Banter and I'm happy with my new ring and earrings. My friend also has had a similar situation with the same sales person if I'm not mistaken. Ignorance in thinking I won't pay and I'm here to waste your time is what will cost you an excellent sale so learn some manners please. In my pictures my rings go from size 6 to 7 to maybe a 7 1/2 or 8. So don't tell me ALL the rings are 7 because clearly they're not. I don't like liars in sales. Only jewelry on my hands, ears and neck I wear are from Zales and only Zales which is why I still went to Banter.

I went to buy an item that was 30% off. 1 day. Went to buy it the next day and it was back at full price. When I received it. I went to check out some more gifts and back to thirty percent off nice ripoff.

Roxanne is an excellent supervisor. She was able to correct a mistake regarding my warranty. It took some time but her diligence, and expertise resolved the issue. I am extremely grateful for her assistance.

The manager at this location was extremely unhelpful. I have been getting my watches here for years and everyone that has helped has always assisted me with sizing of my watches. The manager was rude and even shared that the person that used to help me was let go for unethical reasons for stealing from the company. I though that was very unprofessional. I checked online and it clearly states that Zales offers free watch link removal for watches purchased at their location. I will never go back to this location they lost a loyal customer today.

I've been a Zales customer since 2003. This store is very neat and organized. The sales associates are very helpful and always friendly. They know me by name when I come in to make a purchase or to get my Jewelry serviced. I always feel welcomed. They have great prices and a very good selection of products. This is definitely my favorite jewelry store to shop. Today I came in to get one of my time pieces serviced and I'm walking out with another one to add to my collection 🙂

John has been amazing, not on just one occasion either. Thank you for your patience and kindness during my visits. Worth the review!

I had the pleasure of meeting Santa at the Zales outlet in Jersey Gardens From that time to the present I have followed her to Menlo. From being my jewelry consultant we have developed a friendship. Santa is kind friendly and aim to please all her customers. I will follow her wherever she goes

I ordered a Bulova watch online but it was too big. I came into the store to have a couple links taken out but was told there was a $25 which I thought was ridiculous. After calling customer care I was told that with the receipt they should have offered me a complimentary one time sizing. They helped me make an appointment to another location. The other Zales informed me that they would need to ship the watch back in order to take the link out. That would take 3 weeks. I ended up going to a random jewelry store at the mall and the gentleman took the links out for $5. This was such an inconvenience and I will not buy anything else from Zales. Who knew it was such a big deal to do something that takes 5 mins or less.

John was extremely helpful and kind. He assisted me in finding the perfect watch for my husband’s anniversary gift. Not only was he well aware of all sales, he even informed me of the cleaning and repair services that Zales offers. Thank you John!! Until next time.

Horrible customer service. I had purchased a ring a month ago special order because it was not available in the store. I was told it will take approx 2 wks to come in my phone number was taken and was told I would get a call when it comes in. One month later and still no call. When I finally called I was told "oh it's here it was never logged" I asked why is that and "well it's here you can come get it." I went in two days later because it is a drive for me and went in told the employee I have a ring to pick up. Said all the names I spoke to and was told my ring is not here. After calling customer service because of the run-around of 10-15 minutes both employees come to me asking where's the ring???? I said excuse me what ring?? And they said it's an exchange. I told her no I have the receipt nowhere does it say exchange on here. Lo and behold they find it after another 10 minutes. What should have been a less than 5 minute transaction just got me so baffled at their customer service. Still have no heard from the manager who the employee said would call me.

Faith in humanity restored.My husband had bought me a beautiful necklace for Christmas only for the chain to break a week later. I was so upset. I took it to Mike and without any hesitations he gave me a replacement chain. Any other person would have needled you about protection plans ect. So thankful, will definitely be back.

I always go here for my diamond ring repair and they are usually not that busy and very friendly with the customers

Tyshenda was super helpful for me to understand the engagement ring process. She was explained everything in simple terms and really showed me all the options. She is very patient and I had an amazing experience at Zales!

This Zales store has the most professional, caring store manager that I have ever encountered. Her name is Roxxanne and she made picking out my engagement and wedding ring special. Roxxanne, was attentive and respectful right from the start. Roxxanne always answered all of my questions and was super kind. I explained to Roxxanne that I was going to bring my mother in to also look at the ring. After my mother met Roxxanne, she was additionally amazed at how professional and caring she was.
