We came up here because they said it was an Irish bar- more like a country bar by the music they were playing. Not that there is anything wrong with that😊 We had the tater tots w bacon cheese etc. Was very good- wings were also tasty with maple bbq sauce- crispy wings too- thats a plus. We had the rice and beans (meh) , had the banging burger- was very good- the chips were …ok a bit soggy- but not that bad. The big dawg- a loaded hot dog was tasty but sloppy to eat lol!. We drank this peanut butter martini that was super strong! Overall a good experience for a typical “dive” bar. 😊

Really cool neighborhood style bar that serves excellent food. Harp and Founders nitro on tap are great choices if you want a lighter pint. Burgers and chicken sandwiches are tasty but the true winner are the homemade potato chips. I'd go back just for them. Also, Mexican style street corn was good too. Service by Mike or Michael was perfect. Found this place by accident and glad I did.

Holy City Publick House has 75 cent wings on Thursday's. They gave me a random follow on instagram so I randomly popped in for a first time. 10 wings and a cold Yuengling for 10 bucks, not a bad deal at all! Bartenders were super nice and helpful. Not a long wait either. Wings are naked, perfectly sized as they arent too small and they arent too big, extra crispy skin without being over done. I got these extra hot but if you have a decent spice tolerance, they arent spicy at all. If you are local to Gloucester, I recommend giving them a visit. The lady next to me was having a burger that looked really good too. Almost scared to say this, but they have a miniature charm of Connie Macs back in their hay day before things went downhill.

We sat at the bar. The bartender was quick to get us got us a menu and took are drink order. He forgot to bring our drinks. I order wings and a burger. He wrote it all down but I only got wings. When I paid he forgot to give me a pen so I had to wait so I could sign the receipt. Also the bar was not wiped down. It had crumbs all over the bar and was so sticky that my napkin got stuck to the table. I will not be going back

Came for the wings and was disappointed. Wings were naked, decent size, but overcooked, almost petrified. Service started out very slow but got better with evening crew. My friend's roast beef sandwich was very dry, had to ask for au jus which came out in tiny cup. Fries were cold and not good. Maybe it was an off day for the kitchen. Cozy dive bar fun atmosphere.

Food is delicious, so much rather order from here then any fast food places. Prices are reasonable, every bite is worth every dollar you spend.. Service is wonderful even when ordering for pick up.. . Got to love all the out door events they hold and what they do for the city as well . I love how they uphold the Irish heritage for our town.

Very good spot! This place placed pretty high on the “Lord of The Wings” Instagram page Jersey Wing Bracket thing. I don’t put much faith in those things, but this place sounded and looked good, so we went for our New Year’s Eve dinner. . I got half Chodi wings (their Maple Hot and Garlic Parm mixed), and the other half the sirracha ranch. Wings were good size and crispy. It was $13 for ten wings. They were large, crispy and boy oh boy the Chodi Wings were outstanding (the wings with the green flecks in the photo). The garlic and the maple flavor was delicious. The place is in Gloucester City (very close to the Walt Whitman Bridge). The sirracha ranch were good, don’t get me wrong, but the Chodi, so good. . The girlfriend LOVED her burger as well, so she’s excited for a return visit soon!
