I
contacted
V-lonne
Window
Fashions
to
see
if
they
offered
repair
services
for
verticle
blinds
not
purchased
from
them
(orig
co
closed
down
many
years
ago).
I
spoke
to
Oded
and
he
said
they
did
and
he
explained
the
service
charge
fee.
After
I
explained
what
what
the
issue
was
(broken
slat
pin),
he
said
they
would
try
to
replace
the
pin,
but
if
they
are
unable
to,
given
the
age
of
the
track,
it
would
be
more
inexpensive
to
just
get
a
new
track
rather
than
take
the
old
one
in
for
repair
and
the
service
charge
would
be
applied
towards
the
cost
of
the
new
track.
Today,
Igor
arrived,
at
9am
on
the
dot.
He
also
explained
that
vertical
blind
tracks
usually
last
approx
10
years
and
mine
were
going
on
20.
It
took
him
a
couple
of
attempts,
but
he
finally
was
able
to
pull
out
the
broken
pin.
I
had
a
replacement
pin
which
he
inserted
and
then
attached
the
slat.
We
opened
and
closed
the
vanes
to
make
sure
the
pin
held,
which
they
did.
I
also
asked
him
if
he
could
replace
the
curved
corner
valance
pieces
which
had
dried
out
and
cracked
with
age
-
he
agreed
(I
had
the
pieces,
was
just
afraid
to
try
it
myself)
and
viola,
my
verticals
looked
like
new.
Thank
you
to
Igor
and
V-lonne
Window
Fashions
for
doing
a
great
job.
When
I
am
in
the
market
for
new
window
treatments,
I
will
definitely
keep
them
in
mind.
