We wanted to find something local that we never tried before and found this hidden gem! The food was delicious and very, very filling. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. Our server gave us several recommendations and I'm so glad that we took his suggestions. The burgers (X-Chicken & X-Steak) were huge and worth the price. The salgados were so good that we ordered some to go, too :) ( definitely get the chicken plus cheese ones). The recommended acai&strawberry smoothie worked great as a desert drink and finishing touches of a 10/10 meal! We're looking forward to coming back to try their pizzas in the future!

Excellent sandwiches, too big to fit in most mouths. Potato sticks on them?- yes! The pictures show the enormous brisket sandwich served with ham and egg and cheese and who knows what else. Friendly people, not much English spoken by most, but thankfully Ricardo was there and described everything we asked about. We saw a few Portuguese folks ordering off the menu, like a thick corn (?) stew..I wish they'd list all the authentic foods for us gringos that like to try new things. As we were leaving (about 4:30) there were people coming in with guitars and mandolins, looked like a bunch of good old folkies,.. I asked if they were having a hootenanny and darn it looks like they were! Every other Saturday they let people get together to play music. I'll head back there next meet up, April 1, to check it out over a cup of excellent cappuccino. Very worth a visit.

Great Brazilian food and pastries! Everything we ordered tasted very fresh & delicious. They have the best Coxinha com catupiry ( chicken ball & Kibeh). We will definitely come back and recommend this place to our friends in the Central area.

I always forget to visit this spot . Food is made fresh on the order . So have a lil patience. Friendly staff ,great coffee and food . 3rd time here and never disappointed!

The food is amazing. I love the conxiha and pastlies (sp?) chicken and cheese versions either or is my go to. So good you won't Regret it. Next step to try the Brazilian pizza? I hear it's beyond good. Again great people and great food. They are all so friendly. Definitely recommend!

Being raised in Newark where there was a Brazilian restaurant in every Corner to coming to South Amboy where there are no Brazilian restaurants. I have to say their food is delicious!!! Definitely soooo happy I found this place and will be ordering from here more often. Thank you!

This place is a lovely unexpected find in South River. The people are wonderful, it's clean with interesting decor. I have had several food items but truthfully the cappuccino is the best. Worth the visit!
