I made reservations for a one-night stay at the Come As You Are Inn because I was looking for a safe, quiet place to stay in the Sayville area while visiting friends. I wasn't disappointed. The Inn was cozy, quaint, and clean. The location was conveniently located near my friends' home, the Maritime Museum and businesses on Main Street in Sayville. As an added bonus, Ari and Mark were very cordial and interesting conversationalists. I only wish my itinerary had allowed me time to savor Ari's cooking skills, especially after learning that he was a French-trained master chef from Manhattan!

Mark and Ari were great hosts. They felt like family right off the bat. My sister and I selected their BNB because it's in a central spot, walking distance to the train and Main St Sayville. The two of them took very good care of us: feeding us great food and giving us a lift to pick up our rental car. The room was very comfortable and clean and we slept so good! I wish we had more time to utilize the massive tub upstairs! Next time :)

I stayed there for 9 nights, if I remember correctly. I had an art show in the Hamptons and I stayed in the Ethel Merman room with Ari and Mark as our hosts. They were AMAZING. The attention to detail was wonderful, the amenities, were wonderful, the cleanliness was wonderful. The area in the back yard with the pool was so peaceful and relaxing. The breakfast service was fantastic. Ari is a real culinary master and each day we were provided with wonderful breakfasts and stimulating conversation as well. Mark is a soft spoken, gentle soul and was such a joy to be around. The ambience of the house was great as well. It is an older home, that still retains all of its charm. The bathroom was well apportioned, and the pressure from the shower-head was better than any place I have ever stayed, period. After a long day of bouncing here and there, there is nothing better than good pressure in the shower. The bed was comfortable as well. The sitting area in the living room was comfortable and they offer a nightcap service and I enjoyed that one evening with great conversation as well. I just can't find anything negative about our experience there. I recommend it HIGHLY. What a Joy!!

This was one of the best places we’ve ever stayed at in all the years that I’ve traveled around the world! Ari and Mark were wonderful hosts. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Mark played the piano while we had drinks in the evening. They were great conversationalists and we enjoyed sharing our stories late into the evening. We truly appreciate having intelligent conversations with them. When it comes to the place itself, I love how clean and spacious it is. There is even a nice salt water pool in the back with lounge chairs and a hammock. Each of the rooms are named after an iconic movie star in the 50s and 60s. The attention to details they put into the whole place was unique and beautiful. In terms of location, we can’t complain at all! It’s only a few minutes walk for the Sayville station and also within walking distance from the Fire Island ferry. You can walk there OR take the shuttle directly from the train station. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. A great place to get away from the noisy life in the city. We HIGHLY recommend this place and plan to come back in the future!

My husband and I spent our anniversary weekend at this charming B&B and we were wrapped in it's comfortable surroundings. Our hosts, Walter and Ari instantly felt like old friends. Our en suite bedroom was clean, spacious and well appointed. The continental breakfast was 5star with ALL homemade treats from the breads to the frittata. Such a great choice that we booked another visit next month

Mark and Ari were great hosts. A very pleasant, enjoyable and quiet place with great amenities. Walking distance from the Sayville LIRR station and about a mile from the Fire Island ferries to Cherry Grove or The Pines. Excellent continental-style breakfast and coffee. And if you're just wanting to lounge about and take in the sun, the pool and courtyard in the back will rival any resort.

Ari and Mark provided such a lovely, warm and welcoming experience! Breakfast was delicious, with all the right touches. Lovely pool and patio in the back, common room to chat, and the location is right near the ferries to Fire Island and they offered help from the very first moment including a drive to the ferries. Would def come again - Thanks Mark and Ari!

My husband and I had a great time at the Come As You Are Inn. It's too bad for us that the weather did not cooperate to use the swimming pool, because it is gorgeous as are the other outdoor amenities. Our hosts, Ari and Mark, were kind and welcoming, offering us a welcome cocktail and conversation as we sat and exhaled after a long travel day. We found Sayville generally to be quaint with a pleasant downtown area with cute shops and a great transition stop between a long flight and venturing to Fire Island.

I recently had a wonderful visit to Sayville that was made all the more special by my stay at the Come as You Are Inn. My room was comfortable, the food was great and the hosts were warm and very accommodating. Most important to me was the inn's downtown location. Restaurants (to meet friends), the ferries to Fire Island and the train to New York (if you want to make a side visit) were all within easy walking distance.

A really lovely B&B right in the heart of Sayville. Ari and Mark are natural hosts and we had many enjoyable discussions that undoubtedly enhanced the enjoyment of my stay. Compared to the other mundane options in the area this B&B is an obvious choice.

We spent one night there, and I can say that the service was above and beyond what you could typically find in a hotel. The owners were adorable and very arranging, they even gave us a free ride to the ferry, and we had the pleasure to taste their homemade bread which was very good. If you are in search of a nice place to stay while visiting fire Island, don't miss out the "Come as you are Inn"! We recommend!

Mark and Ari are exceptional hosts. They welcomed me with a milk and sugar nightcap and great conversation. I got to learn about French chef training and was given incredible pastries to go in the morning.

This was a trip to revisit after almost 50 years the town where I grew up. Initially we booked two nights but were able to add an extra night because rain held us up from doing all we hoped to do outside. The whole trip was fun and coming and going from this bed and breakfast felt like home away from home. Mark and Ari were wonderful hosts and conversationalists. We also enjoyed meeting other guests "around the table" who were there for wedding showers and family reunions. The location was great for day trips all the way from Montauk lighthouse, Robert Moses Causeway, Sag Harbor, and for the ferry to Fire Island.

I stayed only one night, but I would return if I ever come back to the area. It was great! Very comfy room, calm and convenient location next to the Sayville station. The hosts were very kind and care about their customers. Thank you!

An excellent genuine B&B. The owners/hosts Ari and Mark were terrific: nice, hospitable and helpful. The bedroom and its dedicated bathroom were very comfortable and super clean. The breakfast (courtesy of retired French chef Ari!) was superb. The location is excellent too: a couple of minutes walk from the Sayville train station, and less than half an hour's walk from the ferries to fire island (and the hosts will be happy to give you a ride there free of charge). Oh, and did I mention the price was great too? A five-star experience if ever there was one!

Exactly what I needed! Ari and Mark are very friendly and helpful. Lots of advice and local knowledge. Ari was a professional chef in NYC and the food is great. I stayed upstairs in the large bedroom with the large bathroom and I recommend that room highly. See pics! The new white marble bathroom is huge with a washer dryer also. Salt water pool is new. Much better than a hotel! See you next year! Loved the SHED restaurant in Sayville. Thanks again! Dan "the hurricane" from Connecticut.
