Amazing food and atmosphere at Mis Tacones! I ordered the Tacos and Empanadas and they were divine. Stop by if you are in Portland and want to support delicious food!

Mis Tacones is without question the best vegan Mexican restaurant in all of Oregon (and yes I've tried pretty much every one). I'd also say they're a strong contender for best Mexican restaurant period. Everything is very well prepared and super tasty. If it's your first time, share a plate of Al Pastor nachos. Then pick a couple of types of tacos, and the Soyrizo empanada. Pair that up with one of their awesome margaritas. Then next time you go (and there WILL be a next time) try a torta or burrito (they are big & filling) along with a side taco that you didn't try the first time. So really, don't just think about it--GO!!!

Vegan Mexican Brunch Saturdays and Sundays is incredible. Homemade Seitan Asada, Carnitas y AL PASTOR!! Pollo Soy Curls and empanadas are gluten free. Best margaritas in town made with fresh juices. Deliciosa Horchata. Queer Chicano owners are welcoming, friendly and live setting examples of what COMMUNITY is. Great service and fun crew. This vibrant restaurant makes incredibly delicious VEGAN Mexican dishes! The flavors and textures are so good, it’s hard to believe it’s vegan. But it’s ALL vegan! They also have an amazing cocktail menu of drinks that pair perfectly with your meal! Definitely plan to be back!

I don't think my review is really needed other than to just confirm this place lives up to the hype. I got take out so I'm not sure which of the four tacos I got were which, but they were all fantastic as was the corn empanada. The tortillas were really exceptional in both flavor and texture. I will make it a priority to visit this place again next time I'm in town.

Best burrito and tacos of my LIFE! It's hard to express how good this food was. It blew my mind. Such incredible flavors and textures, and the prices were so good for the amount of work I am sure it must take! I absolutely can't wait to go back. We loved the atmosphere and friendliness of everybody there, and the FOOD was out of this world. We sat at an outdoor table with our dog, and the ambiance was really nice. We had a carne asada burrito with guacamole added per the staff's recommendation (which was a great idea, def recommend this!), four kinds of tacos (carne asada, al pastor, pollo, veggie), a margarita, and horchata. It was a very filling dinner for two people - the burrito was huge! I loved how the burrito tortilla was toasted to the perfect texture. This place is a must-try if you are in Portland. We will be back to try everything else on the menu! UPDATE: have since returned for more tacos and the chimi - all fantastic! The chimi is massive!

Dang my man this place is bomb. This is probably one of the best vegan Mexican joints I have ever been to. I have been to many vegan places all over North America. Including Mexico, New York Texas Southern California and Northern California Arizona and now oregon. This place is probably my favorite vegan restaurant in Oregon and top to three vegan Mexican joints that I've ever been to. I mean they have a full bar and that means you can get a spicy habanero margarita. My wife got a Mexican beer. We had a burrito quesadillas nachos and a fried chimichurri burrito. The food was outstanding. If you are in the area and you want some bomb Mexican food you got to come here.

Mis Tacones is wonderful, bright, colorful and cheerful. We love this place, and the owners love it even more, and you can tell by the energy they extrude while being there. We think the food is amazing, all the tacos are great, I had the Chile Relleno, and it was great. So, you may have to wait a bit longer, but having patience for fresh, and handmade food is worth the wait. This place tries to treat everyone with love and love them for it. Great food, great atmosphere and fun place to eat.

Delicious place for vegan tacos. There were also gluten-free options. We got one taco, breakfast burrito, frijoles taco, nachos and a side guacamole. That was plenty of food for us.

So far, the best vegan tacos and empanadas we have ever had! Everything is very flavorful. On its own, or all together. Each bite was so tasty.

We couldn’t decide which flavors tacos to get so we ordered 1 of each! Horchata was perfection! Will be a regular customer!! Thank you thank you for such an inspired meal.

This place is awesome! The food was so good. The mole sauce was to die for! I will definitely be back. Portions are good. Drinks are good. The staff were friendly and attentive. Decor is cool. It's a smaller place so can be a bit crowded. There is seating outside too.

the sweetest staff! 🥹 i had ordered a drink but the employee didn’t hear me. when i checked in with them they said they hadn’t rung it up. unexpectedly they brought me my drink and told me they didn’t want me to leave sad. it made my day! definitely go check them out, their drinks were delicious and so was their food.

Great ALL vegan Mexican food spot. We ordered the taco flight to get a full range of the “meaty” offerings. Service was typical PDX to a fault 😅, counter order, get your table ready, bus it, baby. Food was rich in flavor, texture and spice. Typical Portland Mexican flare in a cute, quaint spot. Definitely worth a trip for those vegan, vegetarian or not.

Fantastic vegan Mexican food. The cilantro lime torta was full of flavor. Hot sauces were on point. Staff was super friendly. 10/10 would eat again.

Even though Portland was recently voted the #1 vegan city in the US, Mis Tacones is so special that I don’t know if we deserve them! The amazing food (I had the barbacoa plate special), the friendly service and the dynamic artwork all conspire to create a memorable dining experience.

We have dined here several times, and it is always very enjoyable. Our anniversary on Valentine's day was amazing! The best roasted chilies ever!

I'm usually not a big fan of Mexican food but OMG this place changed my mind! I had the Quesadillas Asada and two Pollo Tacos and both where delicious! The Horchata is the best one I've ever had - and I've been to Mexico before! Apparently the conchas from La Casa De Mamá are only there on Sundays, so make sure to try them! One of my favorite vegan places in Portland!!

This place won everyone over! Seriously, bring your appetite!! Love that it's vegan. Definitely get the guac!
