    Hertz car rental company does a great job at marketing. When you see the Hertz name among other rental companies, you can't help but have Hertz stick put as if somehow they have the credibility others don't because you've heard their name so much in advertising. You may use them before others because of this. Don't. There is a reason why companies like them spend the majority of their efforts on marketing to the public so much. They're prices go up, but their customer care does not. This review is more directed at the Hertz brand/customer care rather than the location itself. I've had a lot of issues using Hertz internationally as well as locally. Deceptive pricing and confusing contracts go hand in hand with Hertz and if you have issues, their customer support will not help the way a respectable company should. They will not be getting my business anymore and I hope that others can avoid negative experiences by going with companies that truly care about customers and not just making a lot of commercials. Read reviews and do research to avoid companies like these.

    Do not rent a car from here. They will lie to you to get the sale. Do NOT believe anything a rep here tells you because they will then lie to your face again. Try another hertz, or better yet, try another rental car agency all together.

    Guys the website allowed us to book a car, but when we got to the airport to pick it up, nobody was there. Someone's cell number was posted on a sign on the door, and eventually someone answered. They're out of cars so she left! The system (she told me) went ahead and gave us a reservation. I'll call back tomorrow if any cars are returned. In the morning nobody called, so I called back and was told they still don't have cars, please try PDX (40 minutes away). We went with Enterprise.

    Only one person working at desk, but wait was reasonable. Staff friendly and helpful. Cars were clean and well equipped. Lot in front of building is reserved parking only. Rental returns are in a lot to the left of building. Employee does not inspect vehicle with you before or after rental so filming car to document condition may be a good idea.

    They refused to honour our reservation saying that it was made within 24 hours. Why accept reservations you can’t honour?

    The receptionist gave me a very poor-condition car. Firstly, the key was damaged and hard to use. The car was not clean, with trash under the driver's and passenger's seats. I took photos and asked her to change the car, but she claimed there were no available cars. She even called the cleaning staff to verify, but the man denied any negligence (who would admit it?). Her behavior made me feel like I was lying. Originally, I planned to rent the car for four days, but I changed it to just one day for this lousy car. And still had to pay one day.

    I kind of feel like they pick and choose who they want to rent their vehicles or they have one for 300 a day I believe I tried to rent a car there three or four times and never been successful.

    This is actually a quality Hertz location that has employees that know what they're doing. People who have bad reviews saying that this location is incompetent don't understand the difference between a major airport and a minor airport. The Hertz at this location used to primarily service the Intel shuttle, and don't have that many staff. So yes you have to manually write down the mileage and they don't have gold service but if you reserve within their posted hours you will have a good experience. They will also usually post their cell phone number on the door if they have to step out

    Convenient location & helpful staff. They were able to accommodate my Minivan request on a short notice. Key drop off option available for after hours.

    Not happy that I always found the office closed during open hours and I have to wait 10 to 15 minutes every time for someone to come. Not happy that usually they are no more good cars available and the options is between 1 or 2 cars. I work for ASML and I have to rent cars often and I like varaidy and consistency. I believe Hertz can afford to hire more poeple and have more available cars for Hillsboro engineers before they lose more costumers.

    Easy return process with a nice lady. Park your car in the parking lot next to Herz and then drop off the keys at the counter. We ended up leaving a GoPro in the car and the phone number was no help at all. We drove back and we were able to get back in the car.

    This is a terrible incompetent office and I HIGHLY recommend not to use them. We rented for the weekend. We called ahead to ask incase the car was available let us know. When we picked up the car we told them we would return by 5 pm on Monday as it is in our rental agreement, we paid ahead. We returned the car by 5 pm, we talked to the hertz person when we returned and he confirmed everything is fine, checked us out and we went our way. After two months we get a bill saying we owe them 100$ for late fees and extra hours and kept sending us bills and harassing us. I tried talking to their customer service who did not speak english properly and could not figure out what to do and was like well this has to go to collection agency. We shouldn't have been charged at all. Really terrible service.

    I thought I had made a reservation, but it apparently didn't save. The manager went out of his way to make sure I got a really great car for our family trip. This location seems to have the best and fastest service as well. There are other Hertz locations I can't say the same for, but I always have a good experience at this location .

    Do not rent car from here! I was given an uncleaned car. The car was also not in good condition. They didn't have any other car to get this exchanged with.

    Would give 0 stars if possible. Our entire experience with Hertz was a nightmare, most of it having to do with this location. My sister rented a car this morning for noon so we could go to a doctor's appointment for me, as I have a pretty severe case of pneumonia. She received 3 confirmation emails from Hertz themselves and even had all the info pulled up on the Hertz app. We put the address into our GPS and headed out. After getting off the train, the address given to us BY HERTZ for the location had us very far out of the way. My sister called this Hertz location and the woman on the phone told her its the wrong address and this happens all the time (then FIX IT). My sister shared her name and information with the worker and she nicely helped direct us how to get there. After walking a total of 4 miles for what should have been a 0.5 mile walk (due to the wrong address being given to us), we arrived. Doing this walk with pneumonia in the summer heat was absolutely brutal, and it hurt worse knowing it could of easily avoided if they just updated their address. My sister then went in and gave them her confirmation number, ID, and credit card. The man at the desk then rudely informed her that they already rented out all there cars and had none for us regardless of our confirmation # given to us BY HERTZ. He said there was nothing he could do for her and gave her a stupid pamphlet. We called Hertz official costumer service and they pulled up her reservation with ease and they seemed confused what the issue was, as their service showed us having a car available. After explaining the situation, the woman on the phone said she could call this location and try to figure out how they'd give us a car, but we decided we had enough and just wanted our money back, as at this point we were going to miss my appointment. Due to their negligence, we had to cancel my doctor's appointment and pay a cancelation fee, and are now hoping we are able to reschedule and find a better place to rent a car. We are incredibly upset and frustrated with the entire situation and hope that by sharing our experience, it will help other customers choice a better place to rent a car.
