Another spot on the food bucket list crossed off! Only thing is I wish I came here earlier! Now before we get into the review, parking can be sort of an issue. Drove by a couple times and realized there’s no parking in front or around the cafe. However, there is a townhouse complex directly behind the cafe and you just have to get to the street behind and there’s street parking with an hour free which is plenty of time for a coffee and treat! Now, the coffee here, is just so nice! Super smooth, nice amd velvety and not a strong aftertaste that lingers overly long on the tongue. The person making the latte, who I believe may be one of the owners was so nice! Super friendly and service with a smile! And I’m definitely coming back for that dalgona latte! Great job overall! Follow me on IG @thirst_and_taste for better pics, vids and more amazing content!

My brothers and I came here to try their coffee and baked goods! We loved their Tiramisu and garlic lemon scone. I tried the vanilla oat latte with two pumps of vanilla their coffee is delicious. If you're looking for good coffee this is a must try.

I got the Vanilla Match Latte, it was good. I thought it would have a little sweetness to it but sadly it didn't. (You may prefer it if you don't like sweet drinks). I got the 3 macarons they had that day, Oreo, Strawberry Cheesecake and I don't remember the last flavor. The macarons were also good, they weren't my favorite (because of the texture) but they were still good. I was a little disappointed because they didn't have the pound cake cubes I always see them post on their Instagram and that's that I went for. Maybe next time? The service on the other hand was amazing! The two employees, especially the cashier was so kind and made me feel so welcomed. That's exactly why I will visit again and hopefully, I can get the pound cake next time! Also, they did not have indoor dining which was sad because the little cafe is so cute, I hope they will open up the dining area in the future.

Absolutely adore this Cafe! A cashier at the nearby Value Village recommended this place to me, and I am so happy I followed! The cafe is curated with the best intentions, even the smallest details were paramount and inviting. I believe the owners service the Cafe, and both are very generous, very nice, polite and well-mannered. The drinks are of very high quality and very enjoyable. Unfortunately, they do not have vegan desserts, to which I was sad as the desserts looked so good! However, alternative milks are definitely available. Great place to sit and chat or work on your laptop. I highly recommend!

I wasn’t prepared for the awesomeness. The smell of fresh buttery pastries, paired with brewed coffee, meet the cuteness of the macarons, and the modern musical vibe really transport all the senses. Be ready. Indulge and enjoy. Thank you!

Cute and cozy, this cafe has a limited selection, but they definitely practice "quality over quantity". The owners are super nice, and the chill music adds to the atmosphere.

The BEST coffee shop I've EVER been to in my life!!! The pastries and deserts are all fresh, DELICIOUS and homemade by the very talented lady owner. Both owners here are amazing and very welcoming. If you come once, you'll be back frequently. So addicting!!!

Absolutely adore coming to this place to study! Every single time I come here, I’m rewarded with great service and a amazing selection of drinks and pastries. My favourite drink is definitely the matcha latte, they make it very well! There’s a decent amount of seating here with outlets throughout. If you’re coming here to work, as long as you have a seat you will certainly have an outlet. There is parking available nearby as well but this place is also accessible by bus.

Beautiful quaint Cafe. Fantastic coffee in the most gorgeous cup and fascinating sweet delights. Read the amazing reviews over Google and decided to take a quiet trip to spend an afternoon there. The place is indeed a quaint gem. Very peaceful and relaxing, will return soon.

Love this cozy place! The coffee is the best in the neighborhood. The cakes are absolutely delicious. I also love the cookie with spicy spices which is very special. We will definitely visit again!

If you prefer a not so sweet coffee then this cafe is for you! My go to order is Iced Vanilla latte. I just wished I could taste the vanilla more since I prefer it to be on the sweeter side.

Coffee more on the dark roasted side, not my favorite kind, but the owners are such nice people and the atmosphere was great. The macrons were cute and delicious. Would stop by again when in the neighborhood.

This is a great cafe in our neighborhood. It’s got very chill vibe and it’s run by an extremely sweet and kind couple I am a regular here . Their flat white is amazing. Macaroons are the best I’ve had in TO. Tiramisu is also very good.I definitely would recommend them to all my friends and family

Located at the end unit of the plaza. East side, I had a bit of shard time finding it first time there. Great coffee shop. Husband and wife running it with excellent customer service. Black Americano It had a very light notes of fruitiness in it. Blueberry Scone Small in size, (which I don’t mind) could of used a bit more blueberries in it, and also had some cinnamon in the scone. Not the type of blueberry scone that I am looking for, but it was homemade, and was better than your average. I’m very picky when it comes to scones. Chocolate chip cookie Approximately 3” cookie. It’s smaller and thicker than most cookies. I had it fresh in the morning, the chip to cookie ratio was on point and the cookie was slightly crispy on the outside and very soft in the centre. Good cookie overall Baked goods From what I saw, all the baked goods looked homemade and fresh. I would come again and try their cakes and macaroons. They looked really good.

    - earl grey cake cube = $4.50 - - vanilla latte = $4.75 - 《Chungry Rating = 10/10》 Cocoon Coffee is about a 3 min drive north of Yorkdale Mall and they stood out to me because almost all of the guides that I could find said that you HAD to visit them if you’re in the area, so I did! As I walked up to their storefront, I noticed a few people sitting on a bench outside, happily enjoying their coffee and some pastries on a chilly Ontario morning. 🥶 After scouring through their IG feed the night before, I was already super excited to give Cocoon a try, but at this point I was really looking forward to seeing what they had to offer. When I stepped into their store, I was immediately greeted with warm welcomes from the owners, Emma and Andy. Now, while I was researching them, the item that really caught my eye was their cake cube, specifically the earl grey one. Imagine my disappointment when I glanced over to their pastry display and noticed that they were already sold out. Luckily, when I asked Emma about them, she told me she actually had a batch in the back that were almost ready. If I was willing to wait a few minutes then she could quickly put the finishing touches on them and have them ready for me. You better bet I waited, and boy was it worth the wait. 🤤🤤🤤 First of all, not to undersell their latte because it was amazing, but their cake cube was the star of the show. While it was a bit on the sweeter side, I found that it actually paired very well with the latte. The earl grey flavours are prominent in every part of the cake. The icing is the perfect consistency and the purple cornflowers sprinkled on top as a garnish really brought the entire pastry together. Thank you to Cocoon Coffee for their amazing hospitality, and I’m so glad I got to visit. 🤗

I visited here because of all good reviews. Great customer service and coffee was good! Good place for coffee if you live around here or planning to visit Yorkdale mall. Limited space inside and I think they only allow take-out. Definitely will visit here again when I go to Yorkdale Mall.

I am not one to leave reviews, but I loved this cafe so much that I thought I would share my thoughts. I am in town for a few days. Having a bad week and needed a latte pick me up yesterday morning. I came across Cocoon Coffee on Google Maps and decided to head over and try it since the reviews were really good. I was not disappointed. Emma and her husband are very kind - If you have any dietary preferences Emma makes sure to keep them in mind when giving you recommendations. I had the vanilla latte with oat milk, a lime + coconut scone, and a raspberry macaron, and everything was absolutely delicious #ChefsKiss. What is more, Emma makes all the baked goods HERSELF and they are phenomenal: light, fluffy, and very pleasantly sweetened. The latte was the best I have had, and Emma had it sweetened to my preference (not too sweet). It is easily apparent how much care and attention this lovely couple puts into not only their food and drinks, but into making sure that their customers are happy and that they feel welcomed. I was greeted warmly upon arriving and our whole interaction was lovely. Can't wait to stop by again! If you're in North York and want to try a cafe you haven't been to yet, or if you're from out of town and need a caffeine fix, you should definitely head over to Cocoon Coffee. Trust me, don't walk.....RUN!!! it's that good. :) From: Maria (the girl dressed in all Pink).

A small and cute coffee shop! Service is so friendly. I didn't know what to get and they recommended the dalgona cafe latte. IT WAS SO GOOD!!! You can get it hot or cold. I also got an almond croissant. It was so soft, buttery, flaky with delicious almond filling. Freshly baked. I was told the tiramisu is great here. I have to come back!

I've been coming here regularly and I have to say they are masters at their craft. The coffee is always consistent and extracted well. They use Barocco beans. Everything they bake is in-house so it tastes delicious! Highly recommend their cookies

Cute shop. Coffees and teas were too fancy for me. Croissant was average.

I lived in the Downsview area for more than 15 years now. This is by far the BEST café...hands down! The owners are incredibly sweet and their Oat Milk Lattes are to die for. The smoothness and richness of the coffee is heart warming. This places makes my Nespresso coffee taste amateur.

Lovely cozy coffee shop. Emma and Andy are so welcoming it's like going to a friend's home. Great coffee and treats. Seats are few tho, have to try your luck to lodge yourself there. Definitely will come back again

I honestly cannot explain how much I love this place! Not only is the coffee amazing, I am also obsessed with the desserts. You have to try the tiramisu and the macaroons! The owners are the sweetest people on earth and even offer to stay open a little past 4pm so I can stop by after work. Best coffee in the city and worth the 30 minute drive for me every time!

Very hidden cafe near Yorkdale. Thankfully there are two free parking lots beside this cafe but the spaces were fairly tight. It’s hard to spot this cafe because it blends in with the other offices in the building but it’s a nice surprise when you go in. I think I like the pastries and baked goods more than the drinks (I prefer my drinks to be sweeter but the drinks here are still tasty). Apparently the desserts go on rotation and there may be more desserts on the weekends so check their social media to see what’s in stock! The owner is also very cute and lovely
