They have amazing egg puffs that I used to have in India, which are my all time favorites and craving. They surely brought back lots of memories and I am sure that I am going to be a regular here.Thank you for your egg puffs.

A great choice if you are craving for Kerala food! I have had good many of their menu items multiple times and they provide consistent taste. Love their biriyanis however my personal favorite is the Egg puffs!

Excellent foods.I will definitely come again and again. Their Beef roast and Beef fry are exceptional. Chicken 65 was good too. The Paratha is the softest and yummiest in Toronto. Taste and spices are compatible with subcontinent people. Being a Bangladeshi, I have found these Malayali resturant just as an awesome halal option for dining in. Tried 2 of their snacks (egg based) which were good too. Highly recommended. And the interior decoration with the wall paint of Dulquer Salmaan and his grandfather from the movie "Ustad Hotel" creates thw perfect dine-in environment.

Really nice authentic Kerala food. Small and cozy place with limited seating options; however the quality of the food compensates for the challenges with seating and parking. I would recommend trying « pothichoru » with fish fry (chala) which will take you back home. Snacking options are again plenty : banana fritters (pazhampori), samosa, cutlet, egg puffs.. you name them and mostly they will have it The beverages is again filled with nostalgia of 90s school (boost, Horlicks, sulaimani) Cons : Limited parking Limited seating No Washroom

The worst place i have been to recently. To the owner if you are selling beef kappa biriyani we are paying for beef in it. I counted exactly 2 small pieces in the whole thing. My friend also ordered at the same time. Again 2 piece of beef. Is that the limit for you guys (2piece). Which costed us 27$ for 2. You are responsible to answer it

I have ordered chicken mandhi on uber eats it was not good actually. It taste very raw and the chicken also has raw masalas on it. The packaging was also not good. Overall i was unsatisfied. The mayanoise, tomato chuteny all of this was not tasty. It is not worth for the price paid.

I went to the outlet for dinner, they have a very small space. Seating availability is minimal. They do get a good number of online orders. You can come here and take out. I tried their pothi Porotta and Biriyani. The food did take a while to be prepared, the girl taking orders did her job well. Both were good, they do accept card payments.

Ordered Onam Sadhya from here. There was an overall consistency in the taste and most dishes had an authentic flavor. The only disappointment was the payasams and it was surprising that they didn't get this right. Also, not sure that the items were fresh and prepared on the same day.

Fantastic experience ordering from Oruma, catered for 4 events over a few months! Delivery was on time, with outstanding cutlets and excellent biryanis (mutton, goat, chicken), although mutton was my favorite. Two misses: Skip the chill beef and pineapple rices. Phenomenal parotta and good chicken curry, their fish dishes are a must-try. Impressed by its appeal to diverse tastes - even guests unfamiliar with this cuisine enjoyed it. We had Oruma chefs come on site to make dosas and omelets in a tent, and serve as well- it was a hit. Friendly and talented staff, highly recommend!

I have been a regular at Oruma. I have been looking for an authentic Kerala restaurant for a long time and hit upon Oruma based on Google reviews. The food tastes just like what we get in Kerala. The spread in the menu is pretty large. Our favourite are Beef fry, Chicken Roast, Kerala Porotta among others. Snacks are great too.... including Egg puff, Pazhap Puri... The best part about their food is that it has been the most consistent in its taste, form and quality. I have recommended them to almost all my friends here in Toronto.

It was an exceptional experience with excellent food and service, among the best I've had in a while. The food consistently impresses me, regardless of what I choose, and I'm always satisfied from the appetizers to the desserts. My family particularly loves the Paal kappa dish. The service is consistently efficient, friendly, and professional.

Authentic Kerala Chaya highly recommended. Tried beef Biryani best in Scarborough. Hope they maintain consistency.

Had kandhari mandhi.. worst one ever had. Rice and chicken is too bad. It’s below average dish.

Wow the buttery taste still haven’t left my mouth. Their chicken biriyani is a must try and if chef Sojan is in the house even better. Akhil’s customer service is also notable, making you want to come over and over again. Definitely feels just as eating home made food. Food Oruma is a must try especially for the comfort and memories.

They don’t even have a menu at the location. Ordered chicken biryani for take out and came home to find that the rice used was plain rice meant for fried rice instead of basmati rice. Not sure why they charged me $12+ for this. Complete rip off in terms of food and money!

Bought a Beef biryani. One of the worst I ever had. The biryani lacks any flavours and was bland. The rice was tasteless, overcooked and was not having enough salt. Literally GARBAGE!

Today I bought two vishu sadhya, all curries and and payasam were good. But somehow sambhar was not given. So please make sure you are giving all items offered in sadhya. Also upperi and sharkaraperatti were also not there. But I am not sure they were offered. Sambhar missed.

This place is an absolute gem for Kerala food. The fish pollichath was sooo good and just melts in your mouth. The beef roast was spicy and very well cooked. Loved the porottas. Highly recommend.

I tried their food 2 times. We tried their pattie , it was ok. We really liked their fish fingers. They gave a small cup full with fish fingers. It was really tasty. We tried to get their fish fingers later few more times , but everytime they said they don't have it as they do t cook it on regular basis and it was only if they receive order in bulk. That was sad part. Any way service was quick and food is good. They don't have enough parking space available in front though. But since all are take away counters in that area, so parking may not cause big issue.

Hands down the best spot for Kerala Sadhya in Toronto!!! The food was so yummy and authentic. To all those people who are missing home food and wanna satisfy your cravings, this is the perfect must try for you all!!! Cheers to the staff!!!

I Ordered couple of items from here as it was my first time the pothy porotta stuffed with roast chicken and roast beef gravy came in a decent size portion. One serving is good enough for two people . The dish was flavourful and filling so will definitely try it again . Price is a tad bit in the higher side The Beef fry was blunt and tasteless . It was just pressure cooked meat cubes with some raw masala powder, maybe it would have tasted great if the meat was fried .... The chicken rolls tasted okay. You can always find better ones else where but to compensate that The egg puffs was good ,. It was tasty and flavourful. Will definitely go back to try the other dishes at this place
