It was pouring with rain one Sunday morning and I wanted to find a cosy warm cafe to sit back and relax and be protected from the cold and windy elements of the outside.. I found the Bodhi Tree 🌳 book Cafe located in Mt Hawthorn and it ticked all the boxes for me in that it was a warm cosy space that served delicious wholesome food and also hot chocolate cacao. If your gluten free you will love Bodhi Trees menu it is predominately vegan and gluten free and did I say delicious as well.. Wander around the book Cafe while you wait for your breakfast or brunch and coffee to be served and you won't be disappointed by the treasures you will find in this place.

Been in this more than once over an ongoing period. Highly recommended as a unique bookshop cafe. Morning teas and cake great. Great concept of a cafe with bookshop. Plenty of other venues to explore in area too. Great access to public transport.

Totally awesome. Lots of gluten free food. Extremely tasty and fabulous service. Coffee is good as well.

Food is basic , eggs Benedict came out on what it seems like burger buns just a very thin slice of ham and a hard boiled egg.. $55 dollars later ... wouldn't ever go back

Lovely ambiance, older more comfortable furniture with acoustics to reduce sound vibration (noise). We could actually hear our conversations! Food fresh, and healthy alternatives are available. Interesting books, cards, etc to treat yourself to, or as wonderful, thoughtful gifts. Love this place... one of my favourites 😍

The customer service, location, and atmosphere is good and impressive. Unfortunately I feel there was an over the top amount of foam on my latte, feel I should’ve ordered a flat white.

Great cafe, quite popular. We enjoyed the food. The brewed almond milk chai tasted great but it gave me the diarrhoea. I had tea the second time we went . Much safer lol.

Good store for creative gift ideas. Christmas wrapping this year was awesome.

A lovely spot to stop and get some work done. Coffee was great, and so was the chicken leek tortilla.

Have been driving past this place for years and finally had the the time to try them out. Food was amazing, staff friendly with a lot of great books and items to purchase.

All is good! Combination coffee shop and bookshop. Delicious cake and a lot of it if not all of it is organic. A very good place to meet and chat.

Great atmosphere, great iced chocolates (ask for cream on top) the place has great cakes as well. I was impressed how there was so many people in this place at 11.45am on a Friday morning. Service is 👍 it’s a bit “bookstore - ish” and a “older” clientele but nice.
