This place blows away the diner. Nancy makes you feel like family, a place where everyone knows your name. Food is always fresh and delicious!

Village lunch was burned out at least a year or more back. The family that owns it reopened just a short while ago. The food is spectacular. The service is wonderful. You got a good value for your money. Tell them William sent you.

Good service and food and the prices are the best for short order breakfast around.

I went the cafe today to take out breakfast for my mother and I. I had the pancake breakfast special and my mom had the 2 eggs special. The waitress was friendly when I was in the cafe. However when I got home and started cutting into my food there was a huge fly cooked into the pancake. I called the cafe right away and explained the situation to them. The waitress offered to make me a new meal but after seeing that there was no way we wanted anything else. I told the waitress that I just wanted my money back and she agreed. My mother took the food back within the hour. But the waitress refused to give us a full refund because we forgot to bring back the coffee that came with the meal. The cafe was clearly in the wrong and they treated us like we were the bad people. I will never go back to the cafe and I will let everyone know of my experience with this cafe. I wish I could give zero stars!

Very nice little luncheonette. Food was served quickly. I had the Poahed eggs florentine. They were cooked well. Breakfast potatoes were nice and crispy on outside. I would go back

This place is my favorite, Nancy is the best, most wholesome, and hardworking employee i think i have ever seen. She is often one of the only workers and always keeps the place vibrant and enjoyable.

i hear that the customer is always right, but in this case not true...i believe it takes two in all cases...when i first came by, Service was great, friendly, and food was great...I say b/c, i don't make good first impressions...i did not expect to have problems this soon...so i walk in nervous and not knowing how to order...like a robot 'i know' i regret saying 'english or spanish'...she smiling...i forget to smile...i am slow and coffee was ordered...great price for food...when food came with coffee i said 'i did not order coffee'...no problem so far...i paid $7.25 for meal with 20 dollar bill...i ate with music in corner...when she came by i tried to apologize if i offended in any way b/c i have english accent in spanish...many spanish people i offend with accent, say' why do you talk like that'...i apologize incessantly..i lower my music and then i hear...'he must be a freeloader paying in 20 dollar bills 'el es vivo' bum'...she don't smile no more...3 spanish ladies with 3 individual baby carriages, catch my attn. outside and point at me....i get bad vibes...i tell myself i am not supposed to have problems this soon....i am the greatest common factor....i should have smiled....i recommend this place for anyone who knows how to socialize..i don't expect her to smile at me but i know i messed up again...she said are you from that country in south america and i verified with a yes...i don't know how knowing where i came from helps but this is not the first time with spanish people...i don't know where she came from...i left my place of origin when i was 5, so i am considered by some American while others Mexican.
