    Pretty similar story to the other review. Got a 4 thousand dollar collection bill out of nowhere. Found out that my insurance actually paid them 5k and then they concocted some bs story about a claim not going through in order to charge an additional 4k directly to me through collections. What they're doing is illegal. Avoid at all costs. These are huge chunks of money they are trying to steal from people. When you contact the collection agency they use, they refuse to give you any contact information for who to talk to, to figure this out. So it's on you to figure out how you're being scammed. The cherry on the sundae is everyone you talk to at Midwest is rude on the phone.

    Got a bill in the mail and tried to get in contact with them to see if I can set up a payment plan until I got back to work like all of the other hospitals had done with me, and I could never get through the line. I emailed them as well and never got anything back. I called 2 or 3 times a week and never got through. They sent the bill to collections, and only then did I get through to them. When asking why it went to collections I told them I called at least twice a week and their employee came back and said if it was important I should have called everyday and multiple times. Terrible service and experience.

    They got our address wrong. Result was they sent bill to incorrect address and we never received it. They sent to collections who confirmed incorrect address. We never received a follow up call or anything from the office or the credit agency! Only reason I found out was my wife's FICO score had a "ding" which I traced to this....two years old! We were not even given the courtesy of a simple call or email. Quick trigger on what was a very small bill. They apparently could care less about their patients.

    Like all other reviews listed I’m now experiencing the same situation. I had surgery done a year ago I never received a bill for this service and I’m in collections can’t get in contact with anyone to take care of this. Collections can’t give you a phone number but they want you to bill a bill that you don’t have any info. Credit bureau supposed to have contacted them and they say it is correct but I can’t get in contact with anyone. I wish I can’t get this straight because I do pay my bills these companies are so quick to put you in collections. I need this settled. The collection people say they have sent me info twice but of course I haven’t received it other. So when will this end……

    It’s no surprise seeing other people’s reviews. I asked to re-access the claim as I had reached my out of pocket for year and next thing I get in my mail a month later is from debt collector regarding this claim. No courtesy call, mail or phone to resolve my concern. Ridiculous!

    I first received a bill for about $600 and then got in contact with them in July. Was on the phone with them and my insurance company and my insurance company was telling them what the did wrong. Fast forward to November and the bill was reduced to about $500 but still saying I owed. Tried contacting them as they we're transitioning and called the new number and never heard from them again. I spoke with someone from Christ and they listed the new number I was given but doesn't work and they had no idea what was going on. So far haven't got anything on my credit report. This is so wrong!!!

    Bills don't reflect most recent payments. Everyone I speak to is in the Philippines. There is a total disconnect between them and whoever (if anyone but the person that knocked me out for surgery) works for them here. I do not deserve the stress I am being put through simply trying to give them money every month. Reporting to BBB.
