We have had an extraordinarily positive experience with Bella Artes. My daughter plays piano and viola and her instructors have gotten to know her and with care, kindness and expertise have helped her grow in her capabilities. They celebrate her successes and push her to advance. I could not be happier with this program.

We have been with Bellas Artes for the past five year. My daughters play the violin and piano. It has been a great experience for our family. Justin the owner is so thoughtful when placing a student with an instructor. The teachers at Bellas Artes are very talented, experienced and great with kids. I would highly recommend Bellas Artes.

Our son has had an excellent past year here. His teacher, Ms. Natalia, is attentive and constructive, while also being incredibly encouraging. He’s been able to participate in two recitals and the Illinois Music Association competition this year, as well - all of which were great experiences for him. The studio feels warm and inviting, the teachers are friendly and have extensive training, and Mr. Jacobson has been really supportive since we’ve started in this studio. Thank you for such a wonderful year!

Highly recommend this music school! Growing up, I played both piano and violin and also did some singing. I have two boys and they both started piano around age 6. I was never fully satisfied with their piano teachers (they had 2 different teachers over about 7 years) - I thought it was because I was just a picky parent, so I just went along since they seemed to be doing ok and learning well. Then about 3 years ago, I discovered Bellas Artes. Justin, the director, has a true passion for children experiencing the holistic benefits of musicianship. It's not just learning to "play" an instrument; it's what that experience brings to the child's whole life. Devin was my boys teacher and I can't say enough about how talented he is as a musician himself, instructor and positive influence in my boys' lives. My boys not only got tons (literally tons) better at piano, they also matured and gained other life skills that I don't think they would have otherwise gotten from their other teachers. Love the recitals and their formats and love that my boys have a deeper appreciation for music and the arts. Amazing. So grateful to have found Bellas Artes.

We love our experience at Bellas Artes! Our family has participated in taking lessons here since our girls were little. The teachers truly individualize instruction to meet the needs of their students. It is a wonderful community!

Bellas Artes has been such an amazing experience for both of my boys! They have taken piano with Devin Starr for many years, and love their time with him! My oldest has also participated in the Jazz program, which was equally fantastic. Bellas Artes knows how to make music fun for not only the musicians, but for those of us supporting those little musicians. Justin is an inspiring director, Megan keeps everything organized and I cannot recommend working with the BA family enough!

Miss Marge was always so patient and FUN and brilliant. Both of my boys regularly sit down at the piano at home and with their friends to play their favorites from memory. And they even like knowing all the different scales… they have a deep sense of enjoyment and accomplishment! We have loved Bellas Artes. Their communication has always been top notch as well. 💛

We've had the privilege to be a part of the Bellas Artes family for the past 15 years! My oldest was Justin's first student in Glen Ellyn; he's now in college studying engineering and music, a combination of interests that his teachers at Bellas Artes fostered and encouraged. Because three of our children play multiple instruments including piano, horn, cello, violin, and clarinet, we've had the opportunity to meet many instructors. I don't hesitate to say that every single one has treated my children as their own. They quickly recognize when their students need to be pushed, when they need to be encouraged, and when they need to rest. Their loving attention has given my children a consistent and loving environment in which they continue to grow and thrive as musicians in the truest sense. The confidence they've gained at Bellas Artes carries into leadership roles at school and in their other extra-curricular activities.
