As a mother of two who recently wandered into this store with my daughters, I was appalled at some of the crude and vile things for sale. We teach our children to be kind, understanding and accepting of all people. Yet many of the items displayed for sale---at eye view of children---were unkind, unaccepting, and inappropriate for kids and alienating for some adults. There should be a large posting on the entrance door or store window to warn parents that many items in this store are for adults only and will not be suitable for children. Honestly, I was shocked, considering that this store is in such a charming and family-friendly town. If I had been shopping in a gritty store in Manhattan, San Francisco, LA, Portland or Seattle, I would have expected to see such filthy items for sale. Par for the course there. But Glen Ellyn, Illinois? Really?? I think this store owner should practice more decency and be more inclusive to ALL people, not just some.

Don’t bring children. It’s an adult store, products on display n full view with swear words -uck, -itch. -hit, etc. They have a right to exist but seems they should advertise the fact they’re adult themed and not be in downtown GlenEllyn. Disgraceful they were open on tree lighting festivities with kids all over and had all their adult products right out at eye level. A night of family fun and a parent ends up having to explain what “-uck The Chef” means…

This is a hidden gem. Let me tell you- you can spend hours and hours in here. It’s full of fun trinkets and unique gifts. I appreciated the staff member, heather, helping me out!

I love this quirky and fun store. They have a little of everything. Think Pier 1 mixed with an inexpensive Anthropologie mixed with old school Spencer gifts would be the way I would describe this store. It is a mix of resale, new and handmade items. The owner is really nice.

I love this shop. Julie ALWAYS has a smile . There is something for everyone here. We always find something we want when we visit, Prices are fair. Julie is always very helpful with decorating tips and if you tell her what you are looking for she will find it for you. Helped us with decorating our bedroom and decorating and centerpieces for our daughters wedding. We Love Gather and Collect and Julie. I would rate Gather and Collect an 11 if I could.

The shop and owner are incredible. It's full of so many fun and unique items for yourself or gifts. The selection here is just unreal. You have to come in and see it for yourself. It's always evolving with new stuff. One of a kind pieces, hard to find pieces, hilarious items, vintage, handmade gifts... all in 1 shop

I love poking around here. Lots of little nooks to explore There are always treasures to be found. Great place for fun/quirky/ unusual decor or gifts. Reasonable prices.

I love this gift shop! It is chock-full of a braid variety of novel, stylish, edgy and fun gifts. By far this store has the best and biggest selection of snarky, cynical and funny greeting cards. Candles, puzzles, knick-knacks, soaps, pencils, tea, home and kitchen decor and lots more. I never walk out of this store empty handed!

Honestly one of the best stores I’ve ever been to. It’s one of those stores you get lost in, not to mention it will give you a good laugh as well (i picked up an “I love hot dads” sweatshirt myself) Anybody who hates this store has a special place in hell waiting for them

Came a long way for this store, the cashier was extremely rude and butt in into a conversation that I wasn't having with them and insulted me. Extremely classless and unwarranted considering I took a liking to the shop and was interested in purchasing a couple of items. I just walked out, don't waste your time here.

Awesome store with all sorts of miscellaneous items ranging from joke gifts items, to clothing, to knick knacks, to jewelry, etc. A lot of the items are pop culture themed jokes. It's my go to store for finding a gift for someone.

I just love this place! They've got such a fun and wide selection. I got a bunch of fun stuff for christmas gifts for my family! I bought stickers, a notebook, cards, a puzzle, a mug and more! I will absolutely come back to this place to buy gifts and fun things for myself.

I love this store! There are so many fun, unique items to look at. She gets in handmade pottery by artists as well from all over the USA. Great place for finding that gift for the person who is hard to buy for too!

I absolutely love this store! I don't know why it took me so long to find it. If you're not into snarky sayings and curse words then this store is probably not for you, but it is right up my alley. Lots of fun, reasonably priced items. If you're looking for a little gift, this is the best place to go. I'll be spending plenty of money here!

I have wanted to visit this shop in Glen Ellyn for a while now and finally had the opportunity. I love it! Amazing collectibles and all sorts of treasures. I collect red glazed pottery items. I have water pitchers, bowls, a creamer and sugar set and am always looking for more. If you're a collector, you gotta stop by Gather & Collect!
