Coming to train Jiu Jitsu at Central Oahu has been the best decision for my family. My 3 kids train in their kids classes and I appreciate their method of teaching kids to use Jiu Jitsu only when necessary and for bully proofing. Their primary focus isn't for competing and being the strongest or fiercest fighters on the street. Coach Ryan and Coach Noel are both SO good with the kids, teaching in an encouraging way that even the beginner doing their first class will feel like they're doing it right and actually get it! What started with just my kids training has turned into me taking the Women Empowered Self Defense classes, and now the Beginner Combatives classes for adults. We've been coming here for almost 2 years. Both our daughters love it and look forward to it every day. The coaches are really patient with the kids and the kids respect the coaches. The kids get to learn how to exercise, a martial art and core values, all while having fun and interacting with kids in their age group. My family is extremely grateful to have come across this gym!!

I like the 10 day trial, the short classes for the littles is smart, and the great program for respect and good behavior. My 5 yo loved it immediately. Great exercise and skills.

Our family decided to send our 5 y.o. daughter to Central Oahu Jiu-Jitsu as a place for physical activity outside a team sport due to her shy nature where she could learn, grow and shape her character. We love this place! From day one Coach Noel was very friendly, willing to answer all our questions and was incredibly welcoming to the amazing community. There are classes for all our kids ages and us adults and we have all been loving learning both how to defend ourselves and how to be better people through the Gracie Day program. Both of my kids 7 and 8 y/o love this place since day one! we just finished the free 10 days trial they offer which is awesome to get 10 days free, and we will be signing up next class. Love to see my kids this motivated and wanting to go back to "play" as they call it.

Very clear communication in the teaching. Very friendly. 100% recommend. The introduction classes are thorough. And the teachers are very present to help correct misunderstandings. They don’t just leave you to figure it out yourself. Feels like family.

This is the best gym on the island. Noel & Ryan are excellent jujitsu instructors. Our whole family trains here and love it. 7 yr old, 9yr old are in the beginners class and have grown so much. I love that they emphasize character strength As well as physical strength!
