The food here is soooo good! They need to have it down in the lower 48!

Number 3 & 4 are the winners. Try it, enjoy it outside and give a thumbs up if you liked it. Pulled pork over rice with a pineapple salsa. Pulled pork grilled cheese with sweet & sour bbq sauce. Legit the perfect amount of food to hold you over for a long hike or a day at the beach. Tons of parking, great local spot. They take card and have a huge dining room. We preferred to eat it outside in the court yard across the street. Insanely good. Friendly staff, would return again!

AMAZING! We ordered the #3 and #1, aka the Grilled Cheese and the Pineapple Sausage. Great food! Just expect it to be the regular item but stuffed with pulled pork. And the sauce is also to die for. Sadly they were out of the #4 the Pork bowl as I wanted to try that but we came later in the day. So get there early! Would certainly recommend everyone to stop by here

Congratulations, you came to the right place. This small restaurant is not fancy but very popular. First, it is unique, no one else serving the same kind of food anywhere around. Second, their food has a value: it is delicious and it gives you lots of energy needed to hike the trails in Koke'e or Waimea mountains. Finally, it is affordable, under $15. The price is just right for Kauai island. I waited less than 15 minutes to receive my order: #2, Hawaian style pulled pork on top of a 100% beef frank. Fully Satisfied!

Very crispy and flavorful pork and rice (#4). There was a very good cheese pull and good bread on the grilled cheese, but the pineapple was not very complimentary to the dish (#3).

The best Grilled Cheese I’ve ever had!! The food is amazing, the staff are amazing. You must try this restaurant when visiting Kauai! It’s worth the drive from wherever you’re staying. We asked them to make us a special sandwich that had the Pulled Pork, Pineapple Sausage, Bacon, Grilled Onions, and Pineapple! They said this may become their #5 so hopefully it’s on the menu when you visit! The Dapps from St. Louis

I cannot recommend Porky’s enough! Post Waimea Canyon - and mild car sickness in the backseat - our stop at Porky’s was an absolute highlight! 10/10 recommend stopping here for a hearty lunch, then walking into “town” for a red dirt shirt and some shave ice. Keep in mind, they close at 4pm but they close earlier if they run out of pork! We ate around 1pm and they were sold out and closed by 2:30pm. THANKFULLY we got a taste! We had the #1 with bacon, and the #3.

If you eat anywhere in Kauai make it porky’s! My husband and I drove about 30 minutes away and for the hot dog and grilled cheese and it was to die for! Staff was so friendly and the place was busy! So worth it!!! Wish we could go once a week!!!

Okay... to start off with, can we get one of these on Oahu?? Like asap! Took a weekend trip to Kauai with my family. Decided to check this place out for lunch. The food was just perfect! Flavor, portion, and customer service were on point 🤌 Thank you for making us feel welcome and checking up on us to see whether we needed anything else. We really appreciate it. This local place was a great choice. The sandwiches were ridiculously delicious and satisfying. Everyone in my party of 7 were fascinated with the taste and portion. Can't wait to go back.

Bottle the sauce and call it Porky’s “Aloha in a Bottle”! The grilled cheese on the outside of the roll, the grilled onions, the pineapple, the sausage, the pork itself! And then there was the sauce that tied it all together. My wife had the grilled cheese and it was just as delectable. We were the last customers of the day, and they treated us really well. I’d go weekly if I was local!

Flavors that made my mouth water and left my belly full and a smile on my face. The outside of Porky's doesn't stand out, but it is also easy to find and worth the stop. We ordered #1 and #3. There are 4 options all with pulled pork, grilled onions, pineapple and sauce. We ordered the one with pork pineapple sausage-#1, and the one with grilled cheese-#3. We also had a variety of kettle chips and orange passion juice and also Pepsi. The drinks were cans. The dishes were extremely satisfying and filling. The sweetness of the sauce and the pineapple complimented the pork perfectly. I also love how they grilled the bread with a nice cheese crust on the outside. They were also extremely friendly and welcoming.

Such good pulled pork, 4 different ways to try. The pineapple sausage dog with pulled pork is my recommendation.

I ordered the pork over rice after a very long hike and it definitely hit the spot. This is the best meal I had on the entire island!!!! Absolutely delicious.

We first started eating Porky's when they had a food truck in Kapaa. We've been waiting to eat there again since the moved to Waimea. We really liked they restaurant. The orders came out quickly. The food tasted just like we remember. Well worth the drive.

This was one of the best places we ate on the island. We shared a sandwich and regretted not getting 2! If we had more time we would have gone back another day for more! We are still talking about it days later. The staff were also super friendly and as an added bonus the bathrooms were really clean.

Holy. Delicious. Totally worth the stop after we spent all morning in Waimea Canyon. We got the pork grilled cheese and it was stunning. The staff were kind and my only complaint is that they were sold out of a lot of things by the time we arrived (11:30 am).
