This
was
an
interesting
experience,
to
say
the
least.
The
interior
has
a
bit
of
a
divey
1950's
American
diner
feel.
The
owners
make
use
of
spaces
in
the
dining
area
as
storage
for
some
of
their
supplies.
No
biggie
though,
we've
seen
plenty
of
that
here
in
NY.
This
takes
nothing
away
from
the
level
of
service,
as
the
wait
staff
here
were
super
friendly.
Saimin
has
a
good
chewy
bounce
that's
reminiscent
of
Japanese
ramen,
though
with
a
curly
and
uneven
texture,
it
gives
off
a
different
and
satisfying
mouth
feel
as
you
chew,
and
is
great
for
picking
up
the
soups
and
broths
that
it
is
served
in.
That
said,
the
Miso
Saimin
and
Vegetable
Saimin
had
similar
tasting
broths,
and
both
were
satisfying,
albeit
light
in
flavor,
bowls
of
noodles.
The
Fried
Saimin,
however,
was
very
salty!!
Perhaps
I
didn't
order
the
right
things?
I
should
like
to
withhold
judgement
until
I've
tried
all
of
the
offerings
(there's
a
whole
burger
patty
menu
that
I've
yet
to
try),
but
as
it
stands,
the
noodle
dishes
seemed
only
okay.
