I have been to many Luaus in the islands and this was certainly one of the best. The food at every Luau is pretty much the same. But each Luau has it's own show. Mauka Warriors Luau describes the history of Polynesia through story, song and dance. They also throw a little humor in every once in a while just to keep you engaged. The dancers are all terrific and the MC is outstanding. The food was tasty, but then I like island food anyway. We had 8 small children in our party of 18 and they ALL had as much fun as the adults. I recommend Mauka Warriors Luau if you are looking for a fun and educational time.

This place is amazing. They are so nice and friendly. Food is delicious . You get temporary tattoos, weave your own headband and they help of course, see how the pig is cooked along with a very informative history throughout the show but described in a funny, keep you attention way. We Plan on making it a yearly visit. We had one complaint because our seating got moved but they accommodated quickly and ever so sweet. And it was just because of a miscommunication that was not they're fault. Well worth the money and I'll see you guys again in February. The whole staff is carrying and friendly. I have trouble walking and they assisted me, even offered to get my food, and always checking on me.

Amazing show, food, people and culture! We were totally overwhelmed with this place, so under rated - wildly interactive! So many fun activities for kids and adults from tattoos to food preparation as well as various musical instruments! So glad we came! Would highly recommend and we will visit again! Oh and I forgot the cast is amazing, kind people that are amazing at the respective skills, women - wow, men - on point oh and the kids were adorable!

Amazing experience from the beginning to end. Food was buffet style and was very tasty. The show itself was intriguing and you get to watch it under the stars. The fire show was definitely the star and everyone was great. Will recommend this place to everyone, would definitely come back.

Mauka Warriors Luau was fantastic! The dances were incredible and every person there was so friendly and proud to show us their culture. By the time the luau was over, I was ready to just stay on the island forever. The food was top notch and all the extra surprises were instant memories. I am so blessed to have been able to see a part of this beautiful culture. 100% recommend!!!!

This was an amazing experience! Very authentic and held on old battle grounds. Great show, great people, and worth every penny. If visiting the island this is a must!!

We had a great time at this luau and would recommend it to both visitors & locals! Buffet style & they had plenty of food for second (or third) trips. We were delighted by the show (they honor the main Polynesian cultures) & of course the fire dancers were incredible! MC was engaging & informative. Can get chilly once the sun goes down, make sure to bring a jacket! Very reasonable price too Pros: • Plenty of parking • Cultural activities offered such as Polynesian tattoos, Kava tasting, flower lei bracelet, headband weaving & cooking demo • Souvenir (digital) photos included! • Anniversary & Veterans honored ❤️ (I think they also called out for birthdays but no one in the audience had one?) Cons: • Wish there was more time for the pre-dinner activities, we didn't get to do everything we wanted • My alcoholic drink was cleared from the table while we left to grab food (it was still half full 😬)

I cannot recommend this experience enough! The view was beautiful, the atmosphere was fun, the food was yummy and the performances were AMAZING! Not only did the cast put on an energetic and fun show, but they also taught the crowd so much about Polynesian culture through presentations and activities. I was so impressed by how Cousin Jerry taught everyone about key cultural elements and also by how kind everyone was throughout the whole experience. We had such an amazing night and cannot wait to do it again!

This was an awesome experience. My husband can't stop smiling. We enjoy it so much. The story telling, the re-enactment, and the dances were amazing. The kids also did outstanding on their performance. This show is by far the best show we have seen in Oahu. A must see!!! Thank you so much to all the crew at Mauka for making this trip memorable.

The luau was awesome. It wasn’t on a beach like other luaus. This one is held at a site where battles took place which to me makes it more memorable. The views from the luau site are beautiful. The booking process was very easy. The performers take you back in time to experience the many cultures and battles that shaped the Hawaiian islands into what they are today. The food was authentic and delicious. Be sure to arrive early and enjoy the many activities they have before the show. There is a small putting green to keep children occupied, coconut leaf weaving to demonstrate the many uses of the coconut tree, and hula lessons. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.

Very friendly and authentic show. Food was ok but the show is the main attraction. Very much recommend doing this activity while in Hawaii. It's quite a bit of a ride from Waikiki Beach but it was well worth it.

My family went to 3 different luaus on different island, so we know what to expect. The views, people work there, and settings are nice at the location. The food is average but my kids really like the food. The activities before the dinner are fun for both kids and adults. The show is good, performance is pretty entertaining. This luau is not big but that's what we like actually. Nowadays luaus are pretty expensive especially for family of 4+, Mauka warriors luau is reasonable priced.

Don't be put off by the entrance as a gravel parking lot. Once checked in, you enter beautifully landscaped grounds with a great view of Diamond Head and Waikiki. Lots of pre-show activities when you can interact with the performers. Good food that allows you to try traditional Hawaiian fare. And the performance was fantastic! A great showcase of traditional and war dances from the islands of Micronesia. I would absolutely go back and highly recommend friends and family to go!

Absolutely Amazing!! It was a last minute decision for us to go to a luau, after quite a bit of research, we decided on the Mauka Warriors and it was definitely worth it! We were welcomed so friendly and then entered where we got to pick a “weapon” to take a picture. They have technology that is face recognition so your face is connected to your phone number so whenever they get a picture of you, it is send directly to your phone. That was one of the most impressive things! After the pictures, we got delicious drinks and then were able to walk around and get to learn so much about their culture. We got to break a coconut and drink from that coconut. We got to see exactly how the pig and other food was cooked. We got to learn how to hold and spin the sticks. Dinner was super good as well but the show was the most amazing part! Every detail was the show was so good and we couldn’t have enjoyed it more! The fire show at the end was not like anything I’ve ever seen! I highly highly recommend this luau when you are in the area!!

Easy booking experience. Picked us up from our hotel and even got a separate call to make sure we got on the bus. Rey organized upon arrival. Everyone was super friendly. Great entertainment and fun activities! Food was tasty!! Our guide in the bus was very knowledgeable and entertaining—“Cousin Nona.” The only downfall was the drink ticket was only good towards beer, a mai tai, or a blue Hawaiian. Other alcohol drinks required more than one ticket. & a fresh coconut was $17. I loved the way they did photos, that you could easily get the ones they took of you by scanning the QR code—genius!! Overall—highly recommend, was a super fun night.
