I went to Goldsmith’s Kauai to have my Great Grandmother’s ring sized for my daughter’s ‘something old’ for her wedding day. Not only did they size it but restored it to its original perfection! Reed was so helpful and shared his knowledge as he explained what they would do. I returned to have this medallion made which represents the one my husband’s mother gave him as he left for the Vietnam war at the age of 18. It had been lost and Reed helped me to make this replica to present my husband in our 35th anniversary. Their helpfulness, friendliness and expertise is refreshing. I feel like a friend more than a customer.

Just wow. I found this business in January when we were on island. The former owner did some custom work for me that was exquisite. She has since retired and the current owner is vibrant and full of imagination. I found some beautiful emerald earrings and opal earrings that I just had to have. Also- I left him (Reid) a load of loose stones to create some things with. I am a firm believer in letting an artist paint their own canvas. I can’t wait to see what shows up!

The jewelers here are so patient, I was very impressed with the service I experienced. I was visiting the island and looking for a gift for my Mom. I felt genuinely cared for, they understood my budget, and there was no upselling. They responded quickly to all my messages and my mom LOVED the custom necklace. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! They don't carry the mass-produced pre-manufactured jewelry that you typically find at the resort shops. This is real solid gold jewelry with weight that lasts forever. I was eyeing a brown diamond ring that they made for a customer years ago, and they were able to work with me by email/phone to create my own. It was shipped to me (to California), so BIG shout-out to the team for bringing my dream to reality! I'm picky about jewelry and now have a piece to wear daily. I'll be back for more!

I happened to meet the owners of this shop while walking along the beach, they were playing with their kids in the surf and pointing out sea turtles swimming in the waves. They are the sweetest local family and when I learned they had just taken over the jewelry shop nearby, I stopped in with my girlfriend on our last day in Kauai. The shop has a huge variety and Reid helped us pick out the perfect piece to remember our first trip to the island. We will definitely be back!

The people and the product here are wonderful. I came in with a vague idea of using my deceased mother's wedding set to create keepsakes for her granddaughters. I was given so much help throughout the process from design to how to set the stones. I had input through the whole and couldn't be happier with the finished pieces. I have also had old jewelry repaired and modified. Again, so happy with the results. My husband found a beautiful pair of earrings that he bought me for my 65th birthday. I love those too!

I love the sea birds on Kauai and found the perfect Tropic Bird pendant at Goldsmiths Kauai.
