The most delicious sandwiches! The meat melt in your mouth, the bun is very crispy and delicious, and sauces go well with meat! The service is wonderful and very attentive. It feels like personal love their workplace and care about their customers. Highly recommend this place, great food and great atmosphere, try the Old School sandwich.

My food was excellent (Chuns) but my girlfriend’s order (Pupukea) had bacon in it (it’s a veggie burrito and she is vegetarian). Also took 40 minutes to get food and we were only one there when we ordered. Total with tip was $44 for two burritos.

One of the best food joints!!! We as a family enjoyed so much! We had a vegetarian wrap and my son had old school sandwiches. !! Vinny and Andrew made our visit so special by helping us choose the right wrap and sandwiches as per our taste! I am coming here again!!! Thanks guys

Waiting half an hour for takeout with an almost empty store doesn't feel too good. Eat elsewhere if you value your time. Somehow the food was also cold after waiting 30+ minutes for it.

We've been in town 6 days, and unfortunately didn't try out Kona's until our last night here. Absolutely amazing experience - sure the food was exceptional (best pork and shakes we've had in Hawaii!), but the staff really set the place apart. They were super friendly, went out of their way for us on several fronts. We loved it so much we immediately put in an advance breakfast order for our way to the airport, and loaded up in merchandise :) Not sure that my marketing on their behalf will be particularly effective in the Midwest, but I'm damn sure going to try! Long story short - go!!

Kono’s is one of my absolute favorite food places. The people that work there are so friendly and welcoming. The food is delicious. I recommend literally any of the bombers but also the biscuit sliders with gravy. Loved it enough to join the tattoo crew!

6/5 This is not north shore quality. We ordered online at 12:25pm and was told our 2 plate lunches and sliders would be ready at 1:10. We arrived early and watched no less than 3 orders get completely screwed up. Our order was given to another patron at 1:15. Then the cashier went running out of the store and around the block to get our food back. When she returned she looked confused when we refused to accept it. I asked for fresh plates to be made and whoever was prepping orders looked completely put out because we asked for fresh food. The plates consisted of a scoop of white rice, pulled pork and a handful of greens, not exactly tough to assemble, and when we got them we were still missing our sliders. We finally walked out with our order at 1:30. Zero offers for any compensation. The service completely sucked and the food was cold.

We went here a year and a half ago, and I would have rated it 5 stars. This time, the food took almost 30 minutes to get, and tasted like nothing special. They put barely any sauce on it. I would not recommend anymore.

Super chill surfer vibe! Reggae music in the speakers, Surf Competitions on the TV, and most importantly amazing Aloha from the workers. Breakfast burritos here are called Bombers and I can only assume that is because they are literally the bomb. Tasted amazing and packed full of flavor. Can’t wait to come back. This place was definitely a top spot for me!

Found this place when we walked past Lenard's bakery. I had the BBQ pork Bomber wrap, which was very good, plenty of pork and great flavour. My partner had the lox bagel, which was also very good, next time she will add avocado for that extra taste. Drinks were also excellent, we had two smoothies - sunrise and lava, very delicious. Service was very good, food and drinks were excellent. Would definitely recommend.

A warm restaurant with some of the best vibes and food you can find here on Honolulu. Had the honor of meeting Zach and Kyle during my visit. Made me feel welcomed from the second I stepped in until I left. My food recommendation, the Local Bomber fully loaded w/ a guava lemonade. The right balance of flavors. Thanks again!!

I was met with a smile and music with the perfect vibes as soon as I walked through the door! The man at the counter was wonderful at helping me navigate the menu as I’ve been to the north shore location a few times but wanted to try something different. After going back and forth on a few options we eventually landed on the Hawaiian bowl. The pork was cooked to perfection and the slaw gave it the fresh crisp bite that worked perfectly to accompany the sweetness from the guava bbq sauce. I can’t wait to visit this location again! 10/10.

I ordered the regular plate and found the meat pretty bland. The sides were also disappointing. Overall pretty disappointing.

Extremely nice staff and vibe! The perfect food to go or sit in. My favorite item for breakfast is the haleiwa and my go to lunch is the old school sandwich. Highly recommend konos, it’s always my go to!

Ordered 2 bagels, received only one. Was refunded. Bagel was delicious, but needs to be toasted.

Great food, great service! Seems like a popular place and you can tell the employees work hard to meet the high demand. A little patience and kindness goes a long way --they will make you feel like family!

Great vibe and staff, equally great food. Breakfast burritos in particular are an amazing start to big hiking days.

Great food. I got the old school, which was really good. Their piña colada milkshakes are absolutely delicious!

Kono’s is an excellent choice for lunch. I got the barbecue pork sandwich which was incredibly juicy and flavorful. The lemonade was made right in front of me and was easily the best I’ve had in years. Service was quick and the staff friendly. I recommend Kono’s.

Delicious. Their burrito is the bomb!

The succulent pulled pork was excellent. The fries was one of the best. If you drive, beware that there's parking at the back of the building. Thou shalt not park at the parking lot of the neighbouring Leonard's Bakery.

Not like the North Shore spot. Setup for tourists, smaller plates and sloppy presentation. Forgot the sauce and the amount of pork was sad. Don't go here, go to the real one.

Waited for the 2 Sammy’s for over 30 minutes to get our food and when we asked it magically came out, which led me to believe it was just sitting on the counter back there. Wouldn’t allow us to use restroom while we waited either.

Excellent food and easy parking (around the corner behind the building). Exactly what you want for takeout during the pandemic. We had the Hawaiian Bowl, the pulled sandwich, a shake and a smoothie and everyone was happy 👍😀.

Served cold pork on nachos, without cheese melted at all, and the 🌯 burrito wrap was cold as well. They refunded the blended drink without us asking because it was so messed up. I'm seriously questioning who is handling and preparing this food.

I had the portuguese sausage breakfast burrito. It was incredible. Perfectly balanced, rich and savory but not at all greasy. Portuguese sausage is like a cooked cured sausage, absolutely delicious, never had it. The hot sauces they have are delicious. Will be getting breakfast here again.

one of 3 locations and they are all very good food choices with a variety of selections.

This place is absolutely delicious and the staff is so friendly! I would definitely recommend anything with the kalua pork with the guava BBQ sauce. We’ve tried the nachos and burritos with it so far, and it’s amazing! I would also recommend the pineapple Vanilla shake. That was the only one we tried, but I wish we could have sampled all of them after how good that one was!

The bombers are absolutely delicious. If you are hungry and looking for some great food, this is the place for you. So good we went there a couple times on our recent vacation.

First place I ate when I got back on the island after a couple months away. Can't recommend it enough, I don't think anything here will disappoint you. I regularly make the drive from Aiea to this location because it really is that good.
