Expensive for $13 and the food is not hot or warm but cold and been sitting all day. Their quality and quantity has gone down they don’t put as much anymore and being STINGY on their portions, been awhile since I ate here because the line is always long and takes forever to get the food and it’s not even worth it! And the person making my food was rude about explaining about half & half with my choice of starch. Only gave me two pieces of meat for beef and broccoli lol! And I found a bone in it!? ⁉️😱😒 DONT GO HERE! GO Panda Express instead at least quality and they give you much more for what pay for.

Manapua is a Hawaiian word. It's the shortened version of two words: Mea ʻono puaʻa which means "delicious pork thing." Mauna puaa which means "mountain of pork." This things where delicious told the lady who helped me that I had never had any she was kind enough to put together a boxed filled with different Manapua with different fillings Perfect to take to the beach and snack on Felt like I was eating cloud bread Get their early some filling sell faster than others

Outstanding service and food!! The staff is knowledgeable and helped assist us novices. The food was delightful, the Manapua is unforgettable, and the Almond cookies are delectable! Thank you for a fantastic experience!

I've never been to this Chun Wah restaurant until recently. I ordered their mini plate char sui, hong kong udon noodles, garlic fried rice, crispy gaugee, and pork hash. After eating what I thought was a lot, I looked down at my plate that was still half full as if I never touched it! Highly recommend this place! Reminds me of my childhood growing up here in Hawaii when my grandparents were still alive!

Regular plate, split starch but only 2 entree, enough for 2 meals. $13 regular plate. Good selection 10 am but only 2 entrees at 8:30am. Take out container looks smaller.

On line order. Inputted specific instructions...6 in a box x 4..and 1 dozen. Total 3 dozen. When I went to pick up order, it was packed in 3 boxes (12) each. When asked to pack as I instructed, the staff acted like I was asked them to cut off a hand or leg. Poor attitude! When I opened the box to enjoy, half of box was BURNT! Don't WASTE your money here! Substandard service. All I ask is what I paid for! Simple!

Ordered hot lunch. First time we didn't get manpua. Going back again to get manapua. Chow fun was good.

Food is good, generous portions. Wish they would have more plate lunch Selections when the doors open; more veggie choices; and open up the dining room ,& bathroom.

This place will always have a line! I always say I'm going to order ahead, but then I'm driving by and the manapua just call me in. Worth the wait, although you will likely have to wait because of their high volume. The staff are always running around to get orders out quickly.

Made a phone order to bring back to Maui and I had to change the pick up time three times. But they didn't give any attitude about it. Was very accommodating. So that's why I highly recommend them

I had the most delicious Char Siu Manapua today at Chun Wah Kam! The bread was soft and sweet, filled full of char siu meat. I've never had better! The manager should give his food preparers and servers all a raise!

Huge portions at a super reasonable price. Served quickly! However the food is sitting out for hours so it’s not hot or fresh at all. I liked the noodles but didn’t like the garlic chicken at all. Would go back though and try something else

Went about 1pm. Food was tasty but on the warm side. They should put name tags for the food because I asked for adobo but it was actually spare rib and the server teased me about it. And he was taking more time than he should changing the receipt tape while chatting with his coworkers fiddling around on the side. I was going to dine in the back seating but the staff was too chatty up front; and it looked oddly dark back there so I opt to just take it back to my office.

Got robbed….Will not return…Chun Wah has the worst grouchy service..but that was ok… because we loved the food…but not any more..the quality has really gone down… look at this garlic fish! Only batter and no fish…and they aren’t cheap either…

Was in the mood for some fresh manapua, so we headed to Chun Wah Kam in town. We were SO pleasantly surprised to see the colorful steamed manapua for the Easter season! They were almost too cute to eat (not)! Who can resist a hot manapua?! It totally hit the spot, with a side of pork has and crispy gau gee... so yummy!

So, the spicy pork manapua was delicious, my udon noodles were delicious, but my shoyo chicken, curry chicken, and char siu manapuas needed a couple of big bites taken before you got to the filling. That's not so bad.... But, I asked, do you have water please? Yes she says. Ok, I can get my own cup, ok? Sure, she says. After we leave, I'm looking over my receipt and she charged me $1.00 to fill my own cup with water. That kind of greedy will get no more money from me ever. It's not the only pork bun on this island. I was so bummed out, the food didn't taste as good because of the greed. Bye!💔

Manapua, pork hash & rice cake. Regular & mini plate lunches with many entrees & starches. Food is delicious- fish & vegetable dishes are great. Roast duck, when available.

Good food, generous portions and reasonably priced. The mini plate is enough for 2-3 meals for me. I start with ginger chicken fried rice then make my other choices. Also the Manapuas and dim sum are delicious.

Great...GREAT noodles and food. And the quantity was very generous. The price seemed a bit high, but, no...for the amount and quality the price is a bargain. Garlic chicken, beef and brocolli and more. It was good enough that we will go back, fo sho.
