Just count me in as another satisfied customer! I just loved that the "meat" selection came with veggies that were already plated, so you didn't have to ala carte any items. They also have different broths you can choose from. I chose the ichiriki base and my friend had the mildly spiced base; I think it was called pirikari? Can't remember. They offered sides; we had the gyoza and the korean fried chicken. We topped off the meal with flavored shave ice. The mango flavor was like eating a real iced mango. And I thought I'd be rolling out of there, but I was pleasantly content! 5 stars for this restaurant and I will definitely be a repeat customer!

Great place to share a meal while not really sharing a meal. Pot has separation so you each can get your own soup base. I got specialty "Angry Goma" which had a little more kick than I was expecting. Like the ramen option at the end though not a lot.

Got some good food here, but it's kinda over priced for the portions, for the amount you pay I'd go somewhere else. This was the second time we went here and they were out of a lot of things. Instead of substituting the items they jus left it out and still charged same price.. It wasn't close to closing time either. It was kind of a let down.

The most professional and courteous service! Our server was very kind and sincere. The happy hour food, Kobe beef chanko and appetizers (Korean fried chicken, French fries, karaage chicken, calamari) were delicious and well proportioned. Try the Yuzu kosho broth. The only item for improvement was the quality of the rice. It was dry and somewhat stiff. Add it to the broth and that helps. A better quality rice would make this meal perfect.

Authentic Japanese Nabe.. nice setting using Japanese style seating… shies off, have a seat on the raised floors and enjoy awesome tastes of Japan…

Very nice segregation for social distancing, delicious, fresh food, and fun atmosphere. Practically rolled out of there, full and happy! Was cool to be able to have different broth for two people across from one another.

Always a good meal. I try to get seated in Michelle's section because she always gives prompt service, and has a wonderful personality. The food is served promptly, and her service is always top notch. Will return just for her level of personable service. Highly recommend.

Extremely close to Japanese quality. A single set is a perfect amount for a single person. I had the chanko babe, which included a very good variety of vegetables and meats. Overall I was very happy with the quality of ingredients, broth and service. I would certainly eat here again.

First let me say the staff was ANAZING ! We had a party of about 40 people and everyone but my wife & I were new to the idea of the hot pot. The staff was very patient and polite. They were right on top of everything we ordered and asked for. The food was delicious. Everyone in the party told me they liked it enough to go back.

Ok sooo for a person who lived in Japan this is such a great find…. Food great! Service AMAZING! Holy smokes the service by a ting man named Jaran OVER THE TOP!! For what you’re getting the prices are so very reasonable I wish the music would’ve been more Japanese, but the atmosphere is fantastic. Shedding Japanese style in Japanese food truly a great place if you enjoy Japanese. If you’re anywhere near the Aloha Stadium, do not miss this place if you get a chance !! THANK YOU!!

Food always consistent. Service excellent. We like to take home the broth and make another hot pot dinner at home.

I really adored this restaurant. The man who seated us was not friendly, but the dining experience was amazing. The broth needed a bit more flavor. My food was yummy regardless and the servers were the best. I will return for more.

We spent 2 hours eating here. The food was great and the atmosphere made it awesome to slowly enjoy the food while engaging in conversations. The service staff was awesome too.

I do not care much for Japanese food, but my family does. And, they are serious about their Japanese food🤣. They love eating here and try to at least once a week or every other week. I love their spicy ahi tuna and it is always fresh! A reservation is preferred because they are a popular restaurant, and because of the great food. Parking can be an issue.

The staff was nice, the rice was hard and they need to update their menu, I wanted the Miso broth and they didn't have and the manju with ice cream was on the dessert menu but they didn't have it. Taylor was good tho

Our favorite restaurant to celebrate at. We’ve been here 3 times and have had a great experience every time. Our last visit we sat Japanese style which was fun and felt really private! Food is soooo good and fresh. My only feedback is that they definitely give you a lot more veggies than meat, which is a little bit of bummer. We love bringing friends and family here and will always recommend this place!

Ordered the minamoto course for dinner, it came with appetizers(poke, edamame and tofu), chicken karaage, and hotpot plate followed by shaved ice( choice: strawberry/mango/green tea). All of them are pretty good, and the portion is good enough but not too much. I ordered Paitan for my broth, it has rich white pepper taste and reminded me of the Bak Kut Teh from Singapore, I really like the broth, might go back just for the broth!

Nice restaurant for a group gathering. Our normal group size eating here is 12. The food we order is typically a soup dish where staff provides a pitcher of broth pored into a wok and then various meats and vegetables are added to the broth that simmers throughout the meal. When the broth level drops staff provides more broth. Whoever is cooking replaces meats and vegetables as they are consumed by guests using individual bowls. Seating is in floor this no tables of chairs. Shoes are not permitted in dinning area -including Sandler so be sure to wear socks. High quality food with fantastic service.

Our server, Travis, was great. Very attentive and always nearby if we needed something. The food was good as usual, but this is one of those restaurants where you cook your own food, so know that before you go. All the servers wore masks and made us feel comfortable. Even when we asked for extra utensils, they brought them to us wrapped in napkins.
