A moderate 4.some miles hike, easy enough to take a dog along. Path has a lot of roots in most sections so be mindful of footing. Make sure to wear decent shoes especially if hiking after some rainfall and be prepared to get muddy. The view overlooking the H3 is amazing. Definitely a hike everyone should do while on Oahu.

Beautiful hike! Since it's a loop, you can do it two directions and each way feels like a different hike. The scenery is amazing and most of the trail is covered, so no need to worry about sunburn or rain. Its pet friendly too!

I took my 8yr old son to spend some quality time together. I chose this route cause I've done it a few times throughout my life and thought this would be a great trail for my son. It's clean, have alot of parking, restrooms, takes a little effort, trailway is safe, nice views and lots of shade. I'm born and raise here on Oahu and been on many hiking trails and they are all unique and special in there own way but I never get bored with this one.

Nice hike. Be sure and only park in the parking spots, you’ll get a ticket if you park on the side of the road where there isn’t a marked parking spot.

Didn’t get to make my way all the way to the summit but followed the ridge trail for about a mile and it seemed like it would be fun. Be prepared as it might have more brush the further you get also you’ll need quite a bit of water.

Absolutely loved this hike. Did it with a bunch of friends and found really cool trees along the way. Definitely a nice chill place to take your dog and get some exercise in

I had no idea what to expect. I did no research but decided to go anyways. At first the trail was easy till around an hour in. It eventually got muddy which made the hike a little difficult but basically anyone can do this hike. We did not hike the entire trail but the views we got were awesome. Would definitely do the entire trail

Absolutely stunning views! Great juggle walk with lots of birds singing. There is a vast variety of flora. When you get to the sign, KEEP going. There's more parking closer to the trailhead.

Moderate to hard hike. Didn't finish all the way to the end of ridge due to rain and mud. The beauty over looking the H3 was breathtaking & majestic. Long pants, hiking shoes, snacks and water are a must. The loop took us over 3 hours. Leave only footprints take only memories!

Awesome little hike good for kids and adults. Not too hard of a hike. There are a bunch of cherry guavas to pick and nibble on along the way. Views to die for!!

Pretty rugged and challenging. Start on the Aiea loop trail and find the turn off near the top (unmarked). From parking lot to Aiea Summit it's supposed to be about ten miles. Sure felt like it! I brought 40oz of water and wished I had twice that. It's muddy and slippery out there and Teva's were not the ideal footwear, but I did make it. Also, the plants up there are really scratchy and the path is overgrown(I wore shorts but regretted it at times). The view of Kaneohe Bay from the top is crazy, and the hike was awesome!

Long hike, strenuous, but not too dangerous. Not appropriate for little kids. Pets can go about halfway. Nice view of the windward coastline from the summit.

A wonderful hike that will take you through a variety of different microclimates and show you tons of beautiful plants. The views at the top are fantastic and the path is well kept, but can be a bit slippery and muddy. There is enough turnover where you will get a parking spot if you wait a few minutes.
