Staff was rude and unsympathetic to physical disabilities. I have a jaw defect that prevents me from being able to open my mouth wide enough to not choke on the x-ray probe when it is inserted and staff immediately jumped to being testy even after being told as much. If you need dental services go to someone who has some respect for the ADA.

I went to get an upper plate made I had lost mine. on the internet it says that Aspen dental will do plates. I drove 4houts the day before to camp and be ontime for my appointment. when the last person showed up to let me know what would be done. I was told the dentist would do the plate after my bottom teeth were fixed. that is black mail. I do not have the money for both. I only wanted my plate. He was as unfriendly as they come. I could have had a robot look at my teeth. sorry to say I will be with out my upper plate my smile will be lop sided

Our local office (Wausau, WI) is disorganized, unprofessional, and unethical. I was simply looking for an estimate on a single tooth extraction/implant/crown and "Dean" assured me on the phone that this location can "do it all" in-house. Although their site claims a free exam and x-rays for new customers, I was told by "Dean" that I would need to pay $29 for x-rays, as their antiquated system could not accept my regular dentist's x-rays (even though every other place in town could). Ok, so I decide to go for it and show up early for my appointment to fill out forms... 55 minutes later, I am finally called, have x-rays, and get a quick exam. Surprise, they can't do the extraction in-house and will have to farm it out to another dentist! By now I have wasted an hour and 20 minutes, am going to be late for another appointment, and cannot wait for Dean to put together a quote as promised so I leave with the assurance that he will call me back. Well, it's been over 2 days and no response from anyone here, even though I left a phone message yesterday reminding them. Lucky for me there are many other dentists locally, all of which appear not to be as bad as Aspen!

Not family oriented and felt very uneasy leaving there. Finally made myself a dentist appt to get my teeth cleaned after moving to the area. I received a call the night before my appt at 8:45 PM from the doctor saying I’m his last appointment of the day so he just wanted to ask me some questions Thought it was weird but whatever. Confirmed my appt the following morning and rushed to get there today after work. I get there and fill out all the paperwork and when I’m done, they tell me my 5 year old is not allowed to go back with and needs to stay in the lobby by herself. Mind you, we’ve never been here nor do we know anyone in this building and it’s on a main road in Wausau. The receptionist said she could go back and forth and check on her but per the doctor’s rules (not shared with me) she couldn’t come to the back. When I mentioned that wasn’t a safe choice and I wouldn’t be doing that, she frantically tried to reschedule my appt and I said I would look at it at a later time. I will not be returning and I recommend anyone with children to find another place.

Haven't had a better dental experience in many years! From getting an appointment to taking care of my dental problems before my upcoming surgery. Kudos to all involved in Aspen Dental of Wausau's expert staff! Thanks 👍

Hygenist did an excellent job and is very freindly. Desk staff seem crabby. I don't understand why I would have to prepay for the next apt when there has never been a payment issue with me.

This is the first time I am at Aspen Dental.I am so impressed with the staffs,they are so friendly and professionals which they explained for me everything very clearly and the equipment is so modern .I feel so happy I find the good Dental service place.

I had a really cool doctor and lab technician. They treated me with dignity and made it seem like I wasn't burdening them . The exam and X-rays were done with clocklike precision and the expertise to help me alongy jurney is exactly what the DR was calling for. Excellent.
