Super fantastische turnkring met allemaal super enthousiaste vrijwilligers. Als er iets is kan je altijd bij de meter trainer of coördinator terecht. Ze staan open voor vragen enzovoort....

Op 18/6 op de rommelmarkt gestaan zeer vriendelijke mensen !!! Vooral die blonde achter de laptop.

I have been a member of the club for 16 years, first started gymnastics myself and then became a trainer. Volunteers are praised because that is what our club runs on! Young, old, it doesn't matter, there is a place for everyone. The cozy cafeteria and gym where people work year after year is super fun! Never had a single problem with the club, due to an extremely good board and motivated trainers, godfathers, etc.

Steeds leuk dinsdagmiddag kaarten in Silok.....goede bediening van de vrijwilligers achter en voor de toog.

Aangename plaats om te vertoeven. We houden ons aan de coronaregels, praten met de vrienden over vroeger en nu en maken toekomstplannen voor het na-coronatijdperk.

Everyone has their own opinion... so we would also like to give ours on behalf of Silok Gym & Dans: For more than 75 years, Silok has been a real family club for Gym and Dance for everyone from 18 months to 94 years (our oldest active gymnast), both recreationally and at competition level (just think of the Belgian top men's champion, Noah Kuavita!). Our club is run entirely by volunteers: all trainers, bar operators, helping hands, ..... We love a positive, family and warm atmosphere, where everyone is welcome. Our more than 500 members are a beautiful reflection of society, and we are happy to contribute to that. In addition to Gym and Dance, we organize many other activities, often together with the neighborhood, and everyone is welcome in our cafeteria with a beautiful playground. We are still looking for new enthusiastic volunteers who want to roll up their sleeves and make a positive contribution to our beautiful club. And yes, let's be honest, .... in a club with 500 members of which more than 100 volunteers, there are always people with whom we click very well, and others with whom we click less .... that comes into play. best families for. And again, let's be honest, ... anyone who is only out to stir things up or exhibits inappropriate behavior ... does not fit within the unique atmosphere that we want to convey. Three of my sister's children and I were playing in the nearby playground. We landed at this place. I ordered a latte coffee, two colas, an apple juice and a cone for the child. The server (Lizet) immediately charged for the items ordered. My latte coffee tasted awful so I asked her for a cappuccino instead. Lizet, the server, replaced my drink. The baby child was playing while enjoying his Skittles. Some landed on the ground, while others were in his mouth. I notice Lizet gesturing to the ground with her right index finger and asking rudely, "Who dropped these Skittles here and here?" Very good, knowing she just charged us for it. Then she rushed back with a sweep and broom and forced my niece to clean up. I found the situation very disturbing and rude. The sip of cappuccino also sucked and pushed it away. My kids wanted to go to different playgrounds. As she walked out, Lizette asked as she reached for my cup and said, you didn't like the first Latte drink. You said it was watery; you asked for a cappuccino so you have to pay for this drink too. I laughed and asked if I had to pay for two coffees that were bad, and I didn't consume. She answered yes! I asked to speak to the manager or owner of the establishment. She said I could come back tonight and talk to him. I then said fine, then I'll pay for that drink. She rudely told me to keep it moving.

Vibrant club with something for everyone: from toddler gymnastics (from 18 months) to fitness gym for seniors, a beautiful playground for the children and a cozy cafeteria for the (grand)parents. Various activities for all ages are organized by the volunteers: card afternoons, Sinterklaas party, flea market, sports camp, quizzes, food festivals, ... Highly recommended !!
