We visited Charlie’s on a Wednesday morning for brunch because of a recommendation (we were on vacation). We arrived around 10.30am and it was packed inside, but we were offered a table outside. It was cool but sunny outside so we had no problem being outdoors. They offered some blankets which was a nice gesture. Outdoor chairs are not the most Comfortable haha. We ordered and our drinks came first: probably one of the best flat whites I’ve ever had! Perfect balance between milk and the espresso. Our plates were beautiful! Definitely worth some pictures and Instagram stories hahaha. The flavor was good, but nothing extraordinary to be honest. However the quality of the Ingredients and the presentation were amazing. Also, the creativity on their dishes is certainly worth the highlight. In terms of price - quality, Charlie’s is pricey and I was not 100% full to be honest, I could’ve had another dish, but I didn’t because I don’t like the “super full” sensation, but just wanted to mention in case you’re an avid eater. I do recommend this place for the experience which was overall, really good… and beautiful!

Really tasty brunch! They offer really special combinations not the usual ones you can get at every places which I really liked. I ate the toast with crab and avocado and really liked the sweet & salty combination. I was a bit disappointed by the interior (it was messy) but that can also be due to the loong pause they had in covid lockdown and about the fact there isn’t an english menu, but the nice waitress offered to translate everything. It’s a bit pricey but at least you eat really good food. Also they have very friendly staff!

Very basic breakfast for a high price. I paid €20 for the food in the picture, I think it’s overpriced. Portions are minuscule. Apart from the bad price/performance ratio, the service is good, the staff is attentive. Terrace is nice but also super noisy as it’s right next to a very busy stone road. The facade of the building is beautiful, very instagramable. Maybe that’s why it was so busy?

Great place! I found it on Google since it mentioned gluten free options. There were plenty of things available GF, I had trouble choosing just one! A little on the pricey side, but worth it. Good food, very cute presentation and place. Plus the staff are super friendly :)

Fantastic spot in one of the up and coming areas of Antwerp. Gorgeous atmosphere, friendly staff and high quality food. Excellent experience. The vegetarian version of eggs benedict is divine - though not on the menu.

A must-try if you’re visiting Antwerp. Arrived for brunch and sat outside because it was packed, however, the cafe provides warm blankets to snuggle up in for anyone seated at the outside tables. Service was so friendly and super speedy too. The drinks and coffee were delicious and the food tasted just as good as it looked, if not better. Will definitely be back next time I’m in Antwerp :)

Ordered Eggs Benedict. Was surprised that the egg was soft boiled and not poached but that’s details I guess. The order was super pretty, but not gonna lie the portion was a bit too small. Taste was very nice, not special but still tasty. Ordered an iced latte to go with it, it was nice but a bit pricey (4,8€) had to pay extra for a syrup and milk plus an extra euro.

We were seated on the terrace. Service was great, and place was cosy and atmospherical. Wasn't super excited about the food though. I had a toast with avocado, but the avocado tasted just like yoghurt and felt unseasoned

Very tasty food on the menu. Gluten free options! Good service and a very cosy atmosphere. Recommended, although the flat white oath was a poor 2/5 star; taste was off and the milk was definitely not steamed correctly. Not the best coffee. Overall 👌🏼

Amazing breakfast. The love for details were as lovely as the taste of the food. Sure it was pricy, but it felt reasonable concerning the quality, altough the portions could be slightly bigger. My loose tea was truly special. Additionally I had a small chocolate croissant, it was nice. It was very crowded when we arrived on a usual business day, I‘d recommend to make a reservation beforehand. I‘d go there again, but because it is quite expensive, only from time to time.

We had an overall great experience during brunch today at Charlie's - The hot beverages we ordered were really delicious. The coffee is not very strong but the chocolate melted as a sweetener gives an amazing taste. - The plates we ate were neatly presented with an exquisite taste. We ordered the eggs Benedict with salmon and sweet potato waffle with feta and bacon The staff were very friendly, they greeted us in Dutch but they didn't have any issues switching to English. If you are planning on visiting, make sure to call and reserve because the place gets very busy. For obvious reasons ☺️

Very friendly nice staff, but simple breakfast took too long, iced coffee was literally the worst in my life, and every person I observed who ordered iced latte got served a different one, and mine was the worst from all of it haha, i was more than upset. I didn’t want to even mention that because I wasn’t going to wait for another coffee for next 15 minutes..

This coffee is not only gorgeous, but the food and the coffee were really really good.

We had breakfast at Charlie's and had a great time! The food was delicious, the service is impeccable and the atmosphere is very cosy and personal. For gluten intolerants like me, it was heaven as you can ask for a gluten free version of many dishes and they even serve a gluten free cookie (when asked) with your tea or coffee. I very much recommend Charlie's!

Every time I am in Antwerp I have go pass by Charlie’s. Such kind staff, good food and cosy atmosphere. They always surprise me for the best.

The food was really good. The staff very friendly. I would recommend making a reservation. But even without one you just have to w a bit longer for a table.

Delicious food and a lot of different coffees. Overall a very nice experience, but one downside when you sit close to the door because no one closes it and the wind is cold.

The breakfast was absolutely awesome! Amazing coffee, fresh bread, delicious jams. The atmosphere is light and the staff couldn't be more friendly! The prices are super reasonable and there are menus in English. Do stop by if you enjoy a good croissant and a delightful cup of coffee.

Meh. We had to wait 15 min for our table to be ready (ok, it happens). We picked breakfast formulas. The waitress told us that they were not available (could be nice to precise before since the place is known for its brunches and breakfasts and it was 1pm). She was really annoyed by us asking for classic stuff to replace the breakfast formula (like bread and jam or only egg whites in the scrambled eggs) and did not want to "overload the kitchen". The food was meh. If two people order breakfast formulas, they just bring the food in the middle. The portions are then really small (probably similar for 1 person). They also tried to charge us for a bread supplement. Like really?!?! Eggs Benedict’s are just a soft boil egg on bread (for reminder they are usually an English muffin with a poached egg). Service was very slow, 35 min between order and getting the food. Insanely overpriced. Nothing in the plates was worth the price. I do not understand the reviews.

Excellent café with nice environment in the center of Zuid. Cover are very nice with brand range of choice. Desserts are also excellent

Very nice food, prices are a bit higher for some dishes but quality and presentation is top. Gets quite busy and loud inside so if you want to have a quieter conversation opt for an outside table

The people are great and so are all the coffee options! They have a section on the Menu for different types of milk. The pancakes they used to have were amazing, the French toast now is ok. Please bring back the pancakes!! 😊
