The venue is lovely. The building is beautiful and includes original features. It's was dressed lovely and had various areas available for a variety of purposes I.e. photo booth, quieter area, dance floor etc.

A curate's egg of an experience. First, the good:- - Room was upgraded to a spacious room with a seating area. Clean and well maintained. - staff were friendly and anxious to please. - well situated for nearby walks in country parks. - nice sunny terrace to sit outside with a drink. Very nice breakfast. Here's the areas for improvement:- - drinks are very pricey. - there are some management issues - bar staff need some training using electronic tills, payment technology does not function properly, a better system for allocating tables for food being served needs putting in place. Our experience was that staff hadn't a clue where they were supposed to send the food. - 80s /90s music advertised for the weekend was NOT what was delivered. I believe there is new management of the Hall since 2021. There are obviously quite a few teething problems for management that still need adressing.

Not for the older person in my opinion for the night club, went there over Christmas and was scared for our parties safety, all the younger people looking for fight. Food was good in the resteraunt, but will never go back - ever again

Fantastic place for Haloween. Excellent armosphere created. Gothic scary underground tunnel from the hotel to the ancient barn. Great music and lighting. Looking like loads of effort put into the Halloween decoration, everywhere you could see.

Does not accommodate the none drinkers and drivers. No, none alcoholic drinks whatsoever. Need to sort this situation out. Get with the times.

Great place for the wedding we went to, lovely atmosphere

It was a busy night, but they needed more bar staff on the bars as it was taking a long time to get served, the bar staff that was working was run off there feet and did there best to serve everyone. And after the club finished and people went into the lounge, the beef muffins was good but preferred it when they also served a few chips and gravy with the beef muffin. other than that, it was a great night /day.

10 of us went to the Northern Soul night. The DJ was great, luckily we found a few seats for the ladies but we were disappointed by the the choice of drinks or lack of it. There was no Chanpagne as we were celebrating, no Prosecco and they ran out of Guinness. My partner resulted in drinking wine from a pint pot lol but we enjoyed ourselves and happy with the early bird deal entry, thank you.

Loved it, everything all under one roof. Good night club too and don't even have to walk outside to get to it from the hotel. Great when the weather is atrocious.

I went with my sales team from work (14 in group) , a mixed group of race, ages backgrounds and were looked after by the excellent bar and security staff. Had no trouble during or at kicking out. Well done to management and all staff had a great night and felt catered for and looked after. I would suggest to do vip package.

It was ok not as busy as I thought it would be and for a " classic garage " night there wasn't many classics being played

Only called in for a quick drink while at a parry. Staff was friendly but the place needs an update as still feels a bit dated

Waiting for a drink 15 minutes? That's a joke. I used to work at the bar so I know it's hard but come on - hire more staff if you need to. Otherwise the place is awesome.

Always the best place for clubbing in the whole greater Manchester. Well done to the management

We had the most amazing time VIP treatment was second to none. Staff were so helpful. Dj was fab. What a way to celebrate with family and friends.

Good music shame about the bar staff ripping you off every time you get drinks
