👍👍 A really impressive building. It's worth a visit just because of the surroundings and the architecture of the building. But the exhibitions on the 8 floors are also varied and interesting. Not a run-of-the-mill exhibition, but creatively and imaginatively displayed. Entertaining and not boring. You... A really impressive building. It's worth a visit just because of the surroundings and the architecture of the building. But the exhibitions on the 8 floors are also varied and interesting. Not a run-of-the-mill exhibition, but creatively and imaginatively displayed. Entertaining and not boring. You can quickly walk through in 1 hour and have seen most of it. But if you want to watch everything in peace, you'll need 2 hours. And at the top you will be rewarded with a panoramic view. If you only want to have this, you can also go straight up. This view costs nothing.

The observation deck at Antwerp harbor is a must-see if you are on vacation in Antwerp. The view is really beautiful and it's only at the top that you realize how huge Antwerp actually is. The view of the water is magical.

We weren't directly in the museum, but on the viewing platform on the 10th floor, which is freely accessible to everyone. It goes up on escalators and is free. The view of Antwerp and the harbor is beautiful.

Interesting museum. It has something for everyone. I wish I had the time to relax and enjoy the storyteller exhibit. Freight and a la carte were my favorites.

A very nice museum in the heart of the city. A must visit if you like art and history. They have different thematic exhibitions going on every now and then. An overall nice experience. Booking tickets in advance is also an option. The roof of the museum provides a panoramic view of the city, a must visit if you are in the museum.

"bite sized" expos per floor. Some very intense, others chaotic or lacking. Well organised and practical layout Children dedicated/ interactive expo is quite up. It's not really clearly indicated, if you would have children and drugged them through the war expo thats lower down. Hence it was nearly abandoned. It'll fill a couple of Hours.

We visited the temporary exhibition "rare and indispensable" with a guide. Very nice selection of paintings and sculptures. Recommended.

A must if you are in Antwerp. We were only at the lookout and in the camp. That alone was nice. Next time we will plan more time to visit the exhibition as well.

Just visited to go to the top for free for the panoramic view. Cafe below, onsite shop. Lots of escalators to get to top.

Still trying to figure out why there were pictures of cricketers along the escalators? Does Belgium 🇧🇪 have a cricket 🏏 team? 🤔

Often interesting exhibitions, but they do have the habit of keeping the exhibition halls very dark with fairly dim lighting for some works. Not always useful if your eyesight is not great. The architecture... you have to love it.

A different theme is exhibited on each floor. Very varied, so there is something for everyone. Interactive, so also something for children. Unfortunately the labels are often only in Dutch. A German tour via WiFi and cell phone would have been nice.

That it took me too long before I came here, is the sentiment after visiting this beautiful building with its many expositions. Recommended!

Museum is ok. But view is amazing

The view from the top is awesome. So is the building itself. Good for one time visit. However is the displayed items worth of a museum? I don't think so.

If you have limited time, at least take the FREE escalators to the top floor for an expansive city view of Antwerp. Works for both ... seeing where you have been -OR- where you want to go!

A superb building, interesting and innovatively presented collection, stunning panoramic views and welcoming staff. A must see in Antwerp

New exhibition about ‘home’ did not appear to reflect on the changing meaning of the home in a post-pandemic world. Historical exhibitions appeared to lack critical reflections on colonial history. Everything was rather dull and ‘safe’.

We really enjoyed our visit to the MAS, and wish we had a bit more time for exploring. The children's area was a highlight, and exhibit design was well considered throughout. Nice mix of local information and stunning art, with interesting content for everyone (children and adults alike.)

Beautiful building. Not the biggest fan of museums so did not enjoy it as much. War floor was closed and it was the one floor I would of wanted to see. Amazing view from the top.

You can access the building top free. Enjoy top view.

MAS is a very varied and therefore very enjoyable experience. Every floor contains a completely self-contained exposition, which makes for a great pastime. Of one floor isn't to your liking, proceed to the next. I loved the floor where you're essentially walking through part of their museum warehouse, very atmospheric and well done. Also the the expositions about proto-columbian treasure and the one about the goods that get traded in the Antwerp harbour were very well done and very enjoyable. The museum is a beautiful building, too, and your visit is easily topped off with a view of the city from the observation roof. I was not expecting too much, but MAS blew me away.

The cafe was really nice and they served affordable food and drinks. The museum itself was okayish, we personally found the exhibitions not that interesting.

(Translated by Google) The central building of the islet. Certainly worth a visit. Exhibitions are always held, some of which are paying. What is always free is the view over Antwerp on the panorama roof. (Original) Het centrale gebouw van het eilandje. Zeker de moeite om te bezoeken. I would recommend it if you are in the area (Original) Mooie plek met goed uitzicht op de stad. The building is nice., the setting too. The experience is a mixture between art and entertainment. The pre columbian collection is magnificent but you have to ask the question if this should not be returned.
