(Translated by Google) Visited because of the temporary exhibition of the Atlas Maior van Bleau. The rest of the museum is also clearly laid out and innovations have been made here and there. The films with Vic De Wachter, who plays Mercator, are educational and animating. When you visit the museum on Sunday between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., you have free admission.

(Translated by Google) First of all I want to tell you that the price is very cheap compared to other museums. I went to primary school there and again last year for a school project. The amount and variety of artworks is phenomenal. It is a museum that you must have visited if you can. Highly recommended for everyone.

Small museum but with an outstanding collection. The temporary exhibition on "the most beautifull atlas ever" was for me an eye opener as little was my knowledge on the item. Although not the most easy subject to expose, the presentation was done in a very accessible way.

A small miseum rich with didactic materials about history of cartography. Authentic books of Gerard Mercator. Very interesting. Another feature of the musseum is that one beverage of choise is included in the ticket. Beverages include local beers.

Great collection that makes you respect how easy it is today with Google Maps. The boards are only in Dutch, but that wasn't a problem for us via GoogleLens.

Great museum, nice exposition about the "atlas maior" from Blaeu. Really nice info about Mercator as well. The museum entrance is free, I just needed to schedule via website a date to visit and bring the QR code in the day. Museum staff was quite friendly! There is an easy parking for the car in there as well.

Maps seem so obvious to us. The museum is proud that this was not the case in Mercator's time.

(Translated by Google) The museum is beautifully situated in a park and is fully accessible for wheelchair users. The welcome is friendly. There was once investment in the museum, but now you are confronted with empty display cabinets and non-working screens. We had expected more globes and maps. With some investments, more public involvement and creativity, much more can be made of this.

(Translated by Google) Museum of international level. Extremely nice collection of maps, educational balanced video and audio material about Mercator and cartography. But most importantly, the lady and gentleman at the desk know their business, are sincerely cordial and make the museum an extremely delightful place. The Mercator museum is also the only museum where you are offered a free drink, for example a Tripel van Westmalle. You do not expect such a "Hidden gem" in the provincial town of Sint-Niklaas. Yet it is there and is definitely recommended.
