It's really great. My son has a great time. His brain is running at high speed. He doesn't want to leave when the museum closes. Free parking is also super convenient. I plan to take him back again next week.

If you are considering visiting here with young children, you will absolutely love it. There are a wide range of activities for the children to do, or with scientific and engineering theme. There are several demonstrations that take place throughout the day. I would advise getting a timetable from reception when you arrive to ensure you do not miss anything. there is a restaurant available for lunch. Alternatively, there is also a picnic area if you wish to bring your own food. I highly recommend you visit this place.

Ein wirklich gutes Museum. Sehr gut aufbereitet. Alles sehr interessant und gut verständlich für Kinder und Erwachsene. Wir haben hier den ganzen Tag verbracht und kommen wieder. Kinder 11 und 9 waren absolut begeistert.

The place is nice to spend a maximum of two hours. More suitable for children. But everyone can also enjoy certain things. Some things don't work. The place is not maintained too well. All in all ok but not too fun.

Best and most informative place for kids aged 2-18. I wish it was open until 6 or 8pm, at least on weekends or during holidays, it’s so frustrating that it closes already at 5pm. Otherwise much recommend.

Technopolis is definitely a good way for kids to learn science in a very fun way! We came here in the Easter Holiday vacation and that was a mistake perhaps. It was unbelievably busy and the waiting lines were long at each stop. Just one remark is that the park is for kids but they charge adults an incredible price of 23€, which is quite ridiculous to me.

Fantastic experience: we went there with my 2yo twins and they did not want to get out. The main expo is more targeted for bigger children (something like 8 to 14) but there is also a section for smaller explorers like mine. Shame the outside expositions are closed for good (so no dinosaurs or insects present in may old posts)

Great technology park for kids and parents. Calculate at least 4-5 hrs. Most of the activities are self explanatory, no need for guide or parent supervision.

It's fun for kids and adults. And through kids eyes it's awesome for sure. For an adult it lacks the following: - Too much text on the screens while animation would help more. Especially for kids. A kid has a low attention span. Visual is better. - No background information on the discoveries. Just factual :'it works because of this' . I would prefer animations or diagrams showing forces at play. Technopolis is made to attract kids to science so that be great. And would educate the parents -Explaining practical use of the science. How it helps us live better - It doesn't have a future zone. Like at Epcot where new technologies are showcased. - Flow: it's not too clear where to start. The flow is random. - The restaurant feels like an afterthought and lacks warmth or connection to the venue So in essence for a fun afternoon with kids it's great. But using the ressources already at hand( screens) I think the experience could be made better.

As a science teacher this place is awesome, but chaotic if you think you’ll get to teach your children the science behind it. Visited with a 7 and 4,5 year old. The “baby” section was fun enough to give them a chill out session from the madness / chaos / queues to do downstairs activities. Highly suggest you stay until closing (6pm) as that last hour is calm and pleasant. If you have hours to spend there then great if you want to make it a short visit then aim towards closing time. 30min before closing time there is a last special show - which is performed once you go past checkin so majority of people leave then. The cafe serves lovely tasting food - hotdogs, sausage rolls and half cooked chicken w/ rice. However, you can bring in your own food & drink and still sit at the tables to eat.

Amazing! A 'wow' with everything we did. Our two 6 year old girls loved it all, talked about it for hours! We will go back. We'll spent many hours there. And great for food as well. Good food and nit expensive.

Bit of a queue at some stands but always fun experiments available to see nearby. Went with the toddler and they enjoyed the kid corner and the space flight (on account of all the experiments with fire)

It's the perfect place to go and learn about how all different kinds of things work. You learn about AI, the human body, and technology, all in a playing manner! It's perfect for kids, but also for older teens and adults.

We celebrated a birthday there and it was disappointing. Although the kids were very well-behaved, the people who were helping them with some craft were very angry the whole time. In addition, the staff told me what the menu will contain and in reality it was just bare hot-dog per kid. We waited for half hour for the hot-dogs, fries and juice. The people in the restaurant were friendly, but the number of birthdays seemed too much. Nothing of the promised amazing birthday was there. Zero attention to the birthday boy. No foto although it was indicated. And I had to watch for 10 kids.

Fantastic place not alone for kids to explore and enjoy but for adults too. Last Saturday, the whole time spend there was exciting and joyful for all.

Surprisingly good. Many interest and leaning points for children and their parents. The area is big, as well as the parking. Only the restaurant is acting weird - serves hot dishes only until 15h, when the whole place is open until 17h. So watch out! ;)

Great place to spend time with kids. Lots of fun and educational experience! There are plenty of storage boxes to keep your belongings. Cafeteria was not the best for quality/price, though. Half a portion of pasta and 3 pieces of meatballs cost 12 eur and was written as a "menu" on the bill. But it was just a simple 1 plate dish. Didn't include anything else with the menu, or we were not offered simply 🤔 Not enough toilets for this large facility on the first floor. The line to the ladies was quite long to wait. Otherwise, it's a great experience for kids and adults as well.

Very nice science center especially for kids to learn science principles in an interactive way. There are plenty of exhibits and one full day is at least needed.. we will also plan second trip for our kids.

Great place, lots of things to do for kids Bus as of 22.01.2023 there are approximately 20% of items that are broken, do not work or missing accessories. Due to lack of maintenance the price of 90€ paid for a family with 2 kids seems to be way too much for the experience. Other than that it seems that certain virtual reality items are rather old. Still place is worth visiting at least once especially if everything works. I give one star on purpose for lack of maintenance, broken expectations.

I had a very pleasant visit today with my class. Everyone enjoyed themselves, exploring the many varied activities on offer. The only disappointing thing was the very unwelcoming member of staff who looked extremely annoyed by us. During the explanation of where our coats and bags should go she shouted "STOP" at one child who moved. Then she became upset when a child (with severe autism) tried to touch her cheek. She gave the child a terrible look and was very rude. The child wanted to make her happy as she was so grumpy! I understand that 5 year olds can test your patience, perhaps a job working with children is not her strength. I wouldn't normally write a review but two other teachers also spoke to me about this.

This is an amazing science museum near Brussels and there are many different unique attributes that sets it apart from other science museums. There is a really cool and efficient wrist band that allows you to connect experiments together and use interactive screens. There is a cafeteria with nice food which isn't the best but doesn't really affect the experience. There are also different fun bits to help kids around. There are fire man's poles and other fun details. I would definitely recommend to families who live near or are on holiday as far as Aachen and Maastricht. The staff were lovely and it was a lovely day out!❤

I've been to Technopolis many times as my kids liked it a lot, but the last few times we've been there, we have left disappointed. A large number of activities/items are either broken, dirty or not working at all and the place is filthy. This morning, floors were very dirty with food crumbs etc. and layers of dust everywhere. I think it's disappointing that the maintenance is lacking given your high entry fee (€45 for 1 child, 1 adult)

For me this was awesome.. I love science and this place really demonstrates science in front of your eyes.. You can literally see Bernoulli law in action, experience liquid viscosity, see some cool water trick and many other counter intuitive experiments that should make you see your boring physical day to day world in a new perspective. Of course you need to explain the kids what is each of the experiments are doing.. but that is on you..

Very fun do-museum for kids and adults alike. Best suited for children 5 and up. Some exhibits could use permanent supervision, because people don't read and use them wrong.

Unfortunately, compared with a year ago, around 20% of installations do not work and maybe another 20% are partially working or incomplete. Even if the kids had fun with what remained, the value seems quite low so I am not sure I will return soon.

Lot of equipments out of order 🤐. Staff even repairing when visitors in. Arm you with patience to order at the Sommer bar and first got to scan a table (good to know): too few people behind the bar. otherwise it could be OK.

Very nice place and experience for kids and grownups. There are rooms for every age and kids can explore science and find out more about their favorite profession. Highly recommended. Price for adults is at 17€ and there are annual passes available as well if you are a frequent visitor.

What a wonderfull place if you like Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. Or if you want to have a fun and educational time with your kids.... Also the part where they challenge the kids to be entrepreneurs, was really interesting. We will come back...

Decent entertainment though not so well maintained. Pieces were missing on some attractions, or attraction was just not working and nothing informed that the attraction was broken. Mixed about the staff to, few were polite and friendly but most obviously did not really enjoyed being there. Finally, pick nicks are forbidden, I get that, no problem, but the least they could do is offer decent food. Undercooked fries, (very) low quality meatballs, overcooked pasta, carton bread, ...

Just too busy! Every station was always occupied and felt likeba jungle where the fittest survive to get a free station. Our kids (3 & 5 yrs) actually preferred to play outside with the sand than be inside the building 😮‍💨.

The experience was great, for both me and my 7yo son. Lots of experiments. For some you needed to wait, but this is normal. I recommend getting there early and planning to spend the entire day. The virtual reality was the cherry on top. I wished it lasted more (one ticket gives you about 3 minutes immersion ) but i understand the time limit, as there is only one device (you stay flat on the belly and control the wings with would arms. Also warmly recommend the side activities and labs - be sure you reserve everything beforehand, online.

Amazing science museum that mixes fun while learning about all things science. lots of great state-of-the-art the art exhibits that are loads of interactive fun for all ages. Recommended even if you aren't necessarily a museum type You can pilot a airplane, lift a actual car, drive bike on a tightrope(very safe and easy), Race with wheelchairs, build a career, solve a crime(younger children), control a robot to play basketball, and lots lots more.
