Nice place to visit. Workers are also nice and kind with non è Dutch speakers like us,( who knows, understands what I mesn). 4 stars because the coffetery didn't have much to offer.

Great museum with stuffed animals and information about them. This museum is very accomodating towards families with children around 8 years old. Another fun aspect of this museum is that it mostly focuses on the current, past and future wildlife of north-brabant. The one big downside to all of this is that none of the information in the museum is provided in any language other than dutch.

A great museum with a lot of exhibits. Suitable for both kids and adults. Kids have many different themes room to play. The only thing is the food in the cafe is not good, not freshly made.

Be aware if you come by car: the museum is right in the middle of the city center and no parking, you must park in a parking slot near by and walk. The parking fee was 2€ per hour. The museum offer “discount for parking” but it turns out 5.25€. So if you plan to stay less than 2 hour better just pay direct by the parking. The museum itself is great for kids. My kids love the “Kikker Room”.

I rate it as below average, to me its a taxidermy exhibit not a museum. This is one part of the museum. The second part of the museum is the children area which is quite interactive to so it can be a child getaway not a museum. They also have an ok gift shop. There is no theme in it, the story is poor at the museum. The whole thing needs a makeover to actually make it a museum not a taxidermy exhibit or they can gift me some of their pieces hahhaa

I recently visited the Natural History Museum, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. Usually, preserved animals in museums tend to unsettle me, but this museum had a uniquely curated showcase that beautifully represented various species across the taxonomy. I particularly appreciated their collection of humorous wildlife photographs. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating. Thank you for a wonderful visit - I highly recommend it to everyone!

The whole museum is great! The neanderthal exhibit was very well made and the fixed exhibit is also very nice. The only downside is that the Brabant exhibit is all in dutch. So for non dutch speakers it is quite upsetting... I went with my partner, sister, brother in law and nieces. The interactive displays for kids are really immersive and the kids loved it. All in all the museum is very interesting for both adults and kids.

Nice interactive museum suitable for all ages. Has an engaging exhibition about the stone age, an interesting collection of taxidermy, one about how taxidermy is done (and exmples that went wrong), one about Brabant and a childrens playground/play exhibition. The temporary exhibition is about wildlife photography. It's also a nice place to practice sketching, all exhibitions have either stools/benches or folding chairs. Smaller than expected though, you can see everything in 1-2h. The cafeteria has soup, cake/baked goods and drinks at relatively high but still acceptable prices

After seeing a dozen natural history museum you can't really be surprised, can you? I didn't expect much but I was so happy we finally came here. Lots of stuffed animals, but the real fun is somewhere else. So many interactive elements of the exposition, so much to read and learn, such wide variety of short movies. Highly recommended, the kids loved it.

Drove over for an hour and a half to get there, the museum was not impressive at all and most likely to be quickly forgotten. But a few days later I received a parking ticket for 45 euros, which made the trip one to remember for the rest of my life

I really liked this museum. I didn't have high expectations, as a lot of natural history museums disappoint me as a biologist. However, I thought this one was great! Lots of cool specimens, enough information, and presented in a very cool way. It's on the smaller side, but that doesn't detract from the experience. Also the temporary exhibit on animal comedy was fun.

(Translated by Google) An interactive museum for young and old. Informative with a treasure hunt and various puzzle elements for children. Upon entering the desk where you get information about the walking route. Theme "Ice Age" and you end up right back thousands of years in time. A giant mammoth and several prehistoric animals to behold. For children, it is, inter alia, their hunting instinct to the test. The large sperm whale and the wildlife photos give a nice picture of the naturr and the animals. You can visit the adjacent tourist office. After coming back into the entrance hall you will visit another part of the museum. On the left a restaurant and then you walk under a large manut skull with very long slaughter teeth. Several shop windows full of stuffed animals where you walk underneath. Children can make assignments to various tables and then they get a job there. O.a.het opening several drawers, which are among the showcases. The opening of this is provided by the museum staff. In the numbered trays we find material and assignments, the museum consists of several levels. Each with its own theme. These can visit the stairs but the elevator. For example, Brabantian is shown and explanation given the origin of various municipality names. The wolf is central again in the Netherlands so this is shown in detail. A space in which is an old-fashioned cafe. The bartender invited you to participate in a quiz! Each table has three pushbuttons on which you can make a choice on the questions asked. These are ten questions that are asked to you. Video material can also be seen there overr life in earlier times. There are various fossils and rocks. The topography of Brabant in particular. On the top floor you imagine yourself in a wagon train. You walk, as it were, on the aisle of a wagon past carriage furniture and at various "exits" you come back to spaces where we can see the contemporary animals. The fertilization of the various animal species, the differences between man and woman This is how we see the deliveries of various animal species. In short, a museum where the child can experience an instructive day with parents or possibly also with grandpa and grandmother? It is educational for young and old. And the various theme rooms make the child / parent / grandparent do not have to get bored! Between two and three hours you are actively engaged in nature subjects. You can park on the other side of the museum in a parking garage. If you come by train? Then the museum is directly on the other side of the station.

One of the nicest natural history museums that i have ever visited. As a tourist i would have definitely wanted to add this to the places that I would want to visit, however I wonder how many tourists really visit Brabant. Nevertheless if you ever get lost and you end up in Brabant, definitely stop by this museum, it is really an enriching experience.

(Translated by Google) Very nice museum where children and adults learn a lot about nature by doing. Not just reading and watching, but also being really active with nature. The oo zone has a wonderful collection of stuffed animals. On the first floor you will learn all about the province of Brabant and its natural environment. And on the 2nd floor, every child can learn through play. In this way he or she learns something about nature and the history of humans, animals and plants. You can easily enjoy yourself here for half a day and the staff are always friendly and helpful.

On a Tuesday afternoon at around half past 12 I stumbled upon a crowded museum full of schooltrips. After half an hour each group went back to school and I had the whole museum to myself. I've had more then enough time and space to see everything. My impression of this museum is: it's quite compact/small, cozy and easily accessible. It took me around 2 to 3 hours to see the whole museum including taking pictures and listening/reading some extra information. It's a nice museum that I'd recommend for children but adults as well.
