Unique museum in center of Breda, Netherlands 🇳🇱. The building used to be a hospice providing care and shelter to pilgrims and other strangers. The museum art display is focused mainly on modern art along with a permanent old exposition. Entry ticket: 12.5 EUR and free with a Museumkaart. Nice visit if you around city center of Breda.

It seems like the Breda municipality has too much say in this museum, but that's my guess. It's fun when a museum has work by local artists, but for me it goes too far when it focussed on paintings of churches that are near to Breda.. Plus shameless Breda-policy promotion in the museum. The museum did look neat and wheelchair accessible, but the light was not wheelchair accessible. If you're a kid or sitting in a chair, you'll be looking at a lot of light reflection instead of the painting. Maybe next time hire a light technician who knows how to do art exhibitions. Personnel was very friendly, thank you for your kind hospitality.

Small museum with valuable collections. It’s the better place to learn more about the origin of the Dutch royal family. It’s also the good place to learn more about the Breda city. It’s quite unique . Beside they keep on holding different exhibitions. The price is only 12,5 euro. It’s free if you have a museum card.

Really nice museum that contains several expositions all together. Part of the museum tells the story of Breda, through the exposition of paintings and objects. There is also a modern part of the museum where a completely different exposition is found, related to modern art and design. A nice cafè is recommended to finish the visit.

I don’t understand why they did the merge between the two museums. Moti used to be a very coheren, exciting museum, great cultural venue and well fitting to the identity of Breda. Really bad idea to combine with the history of Breda, it just doesn’t flow well. I was dissspointed about the change, and the current exhibitions are quite weak.

Have been here several times... The Graphic Design Museum (now MOTI - Museum of the Image) is really worth visiting: again and again. Interesting exhibitions not only for specialists but for the general public, too. This museum is highly recommendable, indeed. I´m looking forward to your next exhibitions - it´s always a pleasure to visit this fine museum.

They were renovating. The visible exhibitions were interesting but limited. The nassau exhibit is fantastic.

We spend an hour and a half inside and got some insides on the history of the center of Breda. On the bottom floor there was an exhibition of Van Empel. It is a lovely small museum

Nice expo on local contemporary artists. Basic expo is on local history. Don't expect too much, but it's good to spend an hour or two there.

It isnt bad but they can be more creative with choosing the right artists and not only abstract or too realistic sometime. I liked the section of the new student artists and their creativity.
