This is a very to the point night tour. You will get to see another side of the city and learn lots of savvy details and legends of Antwerp. Our guide, Luc, was extremely funny and knowledgeable and had loads of intersting anecdotes. The tour starts at the statue of Brabo on the Great Market Square and ends at the MAS, where you will get to see Antwerp's beautiful skyline.

Just the other day I was there at night time. We couldn't take nice photos because our phones were cheap. Enjoyed the walk though on my mini short. Some people were staring at me like 'is he crazy' cuz it was cold af. But I enjoyed my self because sometimes you just gotta say F'it and yeah I did that.

This was a good tour by Peter with a good overview of the city's history. The tour was for English speakers and was aimed at people who are competent in English as a second language. Peter was able to recommend places to eat and visit. Anna was a fantastic tour guide. Knowledgeable about the city. Bright and cheery and funny. Highly recommend going on the legends tour! Look for the big red umbrella when you try to find them. To be honest, I did not learn anything new by visiting the museums after this excursion. It is also supported with some visual aids like a piece of carpet which illustrated an important trade in Antwerpen or the Johannisbaumbrot tree, which seeds were used to measure diamonds (and much more). As a tourist who does not have much time or budget, it's really worth doing it. It can be quite windy in Antwerpen, so take warm clothes with you.

Totally fantastic. Wonderful. Beren was one of the best tour guides I ever met. Nice mythic histories about the city and icons. Walking through the old city, fashion shops and also showed us souvenir shops. So many artists born and raised in this beautiful medival architected city and so many stories behind the walls and into the buildings.

Luc was a great guide to Antwerp, he made the tour both exciting and informative to keep our spirits up despite the inclement weather. The Legends of Antwerp tour was very fascinating. Marc, our guide, was an excellent story teller. There was legend to tell wherever we were, which made the tour very interesting and engaging. There’s everything to see from 12th century city walls to the oldest skyscraper in Europe. I can highly recommend Marc as a guide because he brings the beautiful city of Antwerp to life.

So glad I decided to do this on my first day. I learned so much on this tour, and was able to get much better sense of the city. My tour guide was Bart, and he is one of the best I've ever had! He spoke very clearly and told us many funny & historical stories about Antwerp - overall a very engaging speaker. He was also VERY friendly and approachable, and made sure to include everyone in the tour; I personally felt welcomed and comfortable to ask him questions (which I did - and he was very knowledgeable!) Through his excitement, it was clear how much he loves Antwerp and sharing it with others, which made for an all the more pleasant experience. I also very much appreciated the bathroom break we had in the middle of the tour!

Beren is a great guide. He is passionate, deeply knowledgeable about Antwerp’s history and an effective communicator. It was delightful to hear about the city’s history, be taken through the back alleys and have our attention directed to interesting architectural details that we would have missed if we had explored the city alone. Moreover, we appreciated how well prepared Beren was: placards and pictures aside, he even had an empty bottle of his favourite beer to show us. Lastly, we appreciated how he took the time after the tour to answer our questions. It was two hours meaningfully spent—thank you Beren!

We were in the Champagne region for a week and on our way back to Amsterdam for the Vermeer exhibition, we decided to stay in Antwerp for one night. We were lucky to be able to sign up for the 10:30am Legend free walking tour and more importantly, have Luc D as our guide. Typically, we’re too busy to write a review for tours but this one was so fun and enjoyable that we felt obliged to write one. Our guide Luc D was passionate, energetic and very knowledgeable (and he speaks very good English!). He knows everything about Antwerp as he was born and has lived his entire life there so it was also personal as he took us around the old town. We got to appreciate the many Madonna statues, the story about the “hand”, the hidden historical buildings, the hidden alleys, the different bars, and of course the history of Antwerp. From now on, we will look up to admire all the little details of different buildings and we look forward to returning to Antwerp to explore more!
