The Capuchin Church is the location of the famous Kaisergruft (Imperial Tombs), which is a very impressive attraction to visit in Vienna. While there is a fee to visit the Crypt, the church is free to visit. The exterior of the church is red color and of simple design. The interior is much less elaborate then the cities baroque designed cathedrals. It is worth a quick look but the real reason for visiting here is to see the crypt. The Capuchin Church is located in the Neuer Markt just off the busy Kaerntnerstrasse area.

This imperial cemetery is very significant. It is because the Habsburg family was one of the great centers of European culture. We can see the coffins of the royal families of the Habsburg family that we know common sense, and it is ironic that it is not scary and beautiful. These are very high values for art history. Especially, the museum of Maria Theresa is very popular, so there are always lots of bouquets. I come here every time I come to Vienna, and this time I put a rose on Maria Theresa. To her mother who sent Marie-Antoinette to Paris. I hope that many people will feel the history of the Habsburg family here.

The Imperial Crypt is undoubtedly an absolute must for anyone interested in history and culture visiting Vienna. The burial site beneath the Capuchin Church houses the resting places of some of the most important members of the House of Habsburg, the royal family that ruled the Austro-Hungarian Empire for centuries. Visiting the Imperial Crypt is a journey into the past where you can immerse yourself in the fascinating history of this dynasty. Visiting the Imperial Crypt not only offers a fascinating historical journey, but also a wonderful contrast to the lively atmosphere of Vienna. After exploring the treasures of the imperial crypt, I recommend a short walk to the “Vienna Sweets and Gifts” shop directly opposite. This charming shop offers a wide selection of delicious Austrian sweets and handmade gifts that are sure to delight. The connection between the Imperial Crypt and "Vienna Sweets and Gifts" allows visitors to combine a unique cultural experience with a culinary delight. After immersing yourself in the history of the Habsburgs, you can sample the regional delicacies in the shop and purchase authentic souvenirs to keep the memory of your visit to the imperial crypt alive. Visit the Imperial Crypt and discover the splendor of bygone times!

Handout-map could be better detailed, but the tombs themselves are quite well described on the tables in front of them. Price seems to be a bit too high.
