I can recommend this place and we would definitely come back. Family friendly, very friendly hosts, Claudia also speaks perfect english, spacious rooms, well equiped. Kids loved the farm vibe with cats, goats and rabbit. They even have the pool to cool off during hot summer days. Also very close to climbing areas on Hohewand.

Spacious, well appointed apartments at good rates, in a very quiet location. Drawbacks: no view from the windows; nearby agriculture produces many flies; hosts helpful and nice but too busy to chat (if that's something you care about); internet connection quite slow, wifi coverage spotty; grocery shopping involves driving to nearby Grünbach as Schrattenbach has no shops as such. Hosts' children sometimes make a racket in the morning (I didn't mind, just noticed). On the plus side, the farm is environmentally friendly (e.g. warm water is produced by solar power). Guests are also expected to separate waste for recycling. There are horses, chickens and cats. The apartment came with a washing machine and even a BBQ set. Spent a week there with family. Everyone liked it. Would visit again.

This place is a real children's paradise! Claudia and Thomas are extremely friendly and kind! I highly recommend them.

Eine sehr angenehme ferienwohnung in einen idillischen Tal, ruhig gelegen und perfekt für Wanderungen in den Gegend mit Kinder. Die Gastgeber waren sehr Freundlich und Wilkommend, der haus Warm, geflegt und sehr Sauber. Danke für den Aufenthalt!
