It's fine, I actually have read the reviews. The pods are made out of cheap plastic with no soundproofing and that is the reason they couldn't allow this. Space hostel seemed like a unique concept where a number of cabins are racked up in a small space. The cabins are self equipped but are not noise proof, but you definitely get more privacy than a regular shared room in a hostel. The check in and check out process was very smooth and was done totally online with no human interaction. They have lockers where you may store your luggage, even a few extra hours after checking out. We liked the location as the bus stop is just outside the hostel and they have a Eurospar across the street. There were only 2 toilets and 2 bathrooms which may be a bottleneck during the busy hours. This concept may suit you if you're a solo traveler or even a young couple, and are looking for just a night stay during your transit.

The hostel has its unique and interesting design, it was fun to sleep in a "space" capsule. It was clean, there was a fast wi-fi, tv and headphones inside. I also liked the location, only 2km from the old town. On the other hand, I disliked narrow toilets without sinks (they are in a separate bathroom), showers without any courtain or glass wall (so towels and clothes hung on small hooks get wet) and lack of a fridge and/or a microwave (even the tiniest ones as there is space to put them inside). Also, the capsules' doors opens with quite a noise so every time someone left their bed we got woken up :( Overall, it's good place to stay for one night but not more.

My experience was not the best. I think the photos are done very well of this place. The place does not feel super clean and modern like in the photos but a bit dull in reality. Location was so-so, good for getting to airport. Facilities in the hostel not the best, toilet small and not enough of them; Sleeping in the pod is average I found, you can still hear people moving around easily I guess I like the concept but overall for me I have stayed in much better hostels. Good luck Update: I agree with other reviews here; the towel given is just a hand/face towel, the matress is quite thin and actually hurts a bit when on your side, and as already mentioned, the plastic walls seem quite thin and you can hear people moving around and stuff in their capsules. Like I say, not wanting to be negative but no point giving 5 stars just for an interesting theme/concept. Some tips to the manager: maybe make all toilets unisex so not all men are waiting to use one bathroom, maybe improve on the space theme with more pictures, maybe some plants upstairs to freshen the air, normal size towels, maybe develop communal area as I all I remember seeing was a kettle sat on a desk and an old black sofa that looked a bit miserable 😄

I like it, is more better than share a room with 4 or 6, because each person has a capsule in the same room, and this capsule give you privacy (each capsule have a tv, regular the air, access with card, mirror, little table). You have showers, bathroom, internet, and locker your leave your things for a good price. I recommend it if you only need a place and privacy for sleep.

We arrived at night and there was a double réservation on our capsule. No reception, no clean towel. we paid for 2 and we have a simple couch for the night... no proposition for compensation. However very clean spaces.

In the hostel there are 3 bathrooms, and 3 showers, common areas are super clean, the staff is available for any kind of problem. Each capsule has a safe and a locker in the common area. The city center is 3 km away from the hostel, there are several supermarkets and bars nearby.

There is no reception. The capsules are made of thin plastic and don't provide any privacy. Bathrooms, even though are new, are really weird. 4/5 because the hostel was very clean and you get slippers for use in the hostel, but I wouldn't go there again.

It was an amazing and unique experience. First time, I tried this and was really different. Inside of capsule is so technologic and everything was working as expected. I was little bit worried about lock myself inside but the door can be opened easily and thankfully they didn't follow the technologic way for capsule locks. Manual was a perfect choice. Thanks!

Loved this place: the capsules are super cozy and the space vibes hit just right with me. Be aware of the bathroom situation: you share two relatively clean showers and two toilets (w/m) with all others guest. Also the capsules aren't soundproofed but that didn't bother me.

I had an amazing experience staying at this hostel last year. It's conveniently located near the subway station and provides a much-needed respite from the hustle and bustle of other hostels. The private capsule is AMAZING. The only minor drawback is the lack of staff on-site for emergencies, but overall it's a fantastic place to stay.

Clean, quiet and they provide earbuds and towel also. I live the concept of the place, and it is really nice to spend time watching netflix inside the capsule 🤗

The place is not far away from the metro station Landstrasse ( CAT stopped there from airport).It is for sure an experience to do!Capsule very clean and confortable. TV with Netflix, safe and air conditioning. For every capsule there is a locker where you can leave your stuff,the toilette, showers are new,clean and nice. The price is realy good and very cheap compare to others. One suggestion: it could be nice to have one more and bigger towel.

I stayed here for one night in November, and it was a really cool experience! It was a lovely relaxing stay, and a much needed recovery! You get a pod in a mixed dorm, but there’s great privacy because you can close your pod. In each pod you get a towel, sockets, TV with netflix and youtube, a safe, mirror, shelf, table and reading lamp (plus the lights are really cool!). There are lockers available with keys and the showers were hot. The cleaning staff were really friendly and helpful; I arrived early and they asked which pod I was in and then prepared it for me immediately. Note there’s no reception as it’s self-check-in, also no kitchen but this was fine for me for one night. Everything was very clean and the place was always quiet (note the pods aren’t sound-proof, but everyone was quiet). You get an email on your day of arrival with the code (I got mine just after 7am) and you can go in anytime to leave your bags in the lockers. On your departure day you can leave your bags there until 6pm. It was a bit of a walk to the city centre, but I was fine with it. (30 min walk give or take) You can get public transport either, or book the inner city capsules (they have several locations).

First of all, IT IS a nice experience. It hast something from a little vault capsule in Fallout. I liked it very much. The lights where very fancy in the Box. Blue night light, White day light and also Reading light were available. Enough space and the highlight is of course free Netflix and a Safe in the capsule. Its easy to get in the room with a code you receive after booking. Nevertheless, Not everything ist positiv. You cant pay there. My friend's credit card was charged even though I wrote again and asked if that was okay. It said you can pay on the spot, unfortunately that wasn't the case, which wasn't so good for me and her. Unfortunately, there was no towel for me either, so I had to wait naked in the shower for 10 minutes until I was dry. Well, but that's not so wild. In my opinion, toilets are also a bit too few for 16? people. But in general you can't have everything. So.. Ich finde es ist aufjedenfall eine Erfahrung wert, mir hat's trotzdem sehr gefallen 😊

Bathrooms are few and shared. Another negative was the faint smell of cigarettes. When I turned on the air vents in the pod, a smell of cigarettes came through.

The capsules are perfect if you want to shut down the city noise and get some rest. It is not good, however, if you want to be active, meet people, or have expectations for quality. Only two bathrooms and three showers for 20 capsules. The showers don't have a place to put your stuff. Toilet paper ran out and there is no staff to call. Capsules have blue lights, white lights, reading lights, good conditioning that can get loud, TV with netflix, headphones and jack ports for the TV, a small safe, locks on the capsule door, a foldable bed table, SOS button, socket with universal adaptor, two USB ports. The capsule is not soundproof and you will hear everybody just as well as everybody will hear you. If you can't sleep with light you may have trouble, because even with everything turned off the buttons on both sides illuminate the area. There are big storage lockers for your stuff and even inside the capsule you could store a couple backpacks with no issues. I would definitely recommend this hostel for people seeking rest and comfort (but nothing else)

Super neat pods, pictures make the whole place seem a lot bigger than it really is. When you come in off the street you walk straight into the first room of pods where most of them are! No warning! Bathrooms are very cramped, I'm 5'5 and could just about fit into the WC, height might be an issue in the room with the sinks. the pods themselves are fab! Super comfy! good quality bedding provided too plus a very large locker to put your things in. On day of 'checkout' I was offered to keep my locker until 6 pm! There isn't really a check in or out just emails you receive with the codes you need for the door and safe and then what to do when you leave. Does make you wonder what actually happens when the SOS button is pressed as there isn't staff there!

I only stayed here for a night and it was pretty okay. The capsules are made of plastic and the materials are okay. You have everything although you need to ask of most of the things trough booking or contacting the reception which actually doesn’t exist in the capsules. If you’re on a budget or want to try something different than the average hotel I really recommend you this place. Is well connected, you have wifi and also the staff is super nice.
