This place is just ok in terms of food and extremely overpriced. Revised piece to be fair: the antipasti were very tasty but the pasta… it was not al dente and it had no taste (the one with fiore di zucca). In summary, it’s not worth the price and I should have read comments here before going. Staff was very nice though, in contrast with some comments I read here.

A wonderful place for a nice dinner. I’d give them more than 5 stars if I could. The staff was super friendly and incredibly helpful! Their wine recommendation was perfect to go along with everything we ordered. I absolutely recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for an excellent culinary experience.

What a pleasant surprise as accidentally came across this place and it’s one of Mondello’s best kept secrets. Food amazing, wine exceptional and the team so kind, polite and knowledgeable. Spent more than usual for dinner but worth every penny and had a lovely wine pairing and 4 courses. Highly recommend to anyone visiting and want a special night, service and explore local food and wines. I will definitely be back when I return to Palermo.

Nice restaurant with delicious food, though a bit pricey

This was a recommendation from friends and we loved this restaurant. It was our first meal in Palermo and did not disappoint. The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. the wine selection was excellent, and we received a great recommendation for a Sicilian red that was outstanding. Two of our guests were running around a half hour late due to a flight delay, and the host was quite patient, not rushing us at all. The food was marvelous, risotto, pastas, seafood, all good. They easily accommodated our daughter's gluten free diet. All-in-all, a wonderful restaurant. The host also provided a wonderful recommendation for a restaurant in Cefalu, that we went to the next day and too was marvelous.

Friendly helpful and knowledgeable staff, delicious food (the gluten free pasta was perfect), fantastic selection of wine. Overall a wonderful experience!

We stumbled upon this restaurant near our Airbnb and were delighted with the food and atmosphere. The service was impeccable and super friendly, and it was by far our favorite meal on our trip. We didn’t take too many photos of our mains as we ate far too quickly but we did get a photo of the delicious cannoli 😊 grazie mille we hope to be back during our next trip to Mondello!

Excellent. I really fell in love with this little wine bar — it’s got great food and wine, and the service is absolutely lovely. While we only had the Italian ham & cheese platter, it was presented in a super nice way — and they went all the way to find a natural wine from the region that fit perfectly what we were looking for. We didn’t try it but could see some of the other items they have on the menu; and they looked fantastic. We couldn’t have asked for me, it’s been a pleasure visiting them — and would go there any time again.

Our last meal in Sicily and what a way to finish. High quality produce friendly service. But let's talk about the Cacio Pepe with raw red prawns and black truffles, BOOM what an explosion of flavors in your mouth. Thank you so much for a great meal.

The food is excellent and the restaurant is very cosy. The wine glasses are wrong. Though they had Riedel glasses, they served us white wine in glasses for red wine. The service...They did not seem happy when we arrived. And were very happy when we left. They were very in a hurry. The waiter asked us if we had finished with the starters and we didn't even manage to answer that the owner hurried the waiter to bring the main course as it was too late. Realizing that, we left without having any coffee or desserts. Would not return.

Great spot ! Very good food, nice wine selection, staff is welcoming and the place is really cosy

This place has so much potential. Great choice of wine and an interesting menu. But I was appalled by the service which at times seemed outright hostile. We waited for 20 minutes before anyone took our order and we were told explicitly it was because we were English. Then throughout the meal, while other tables had their wine poured, got through their starters and mains and were regularly attended to - we were ignored. The food itself was ok, although not worth the price and lacking in flavour. Very disappointed by the whole experience.

Beautiful meal and wine which the owner helped us select. All the staff were charming and helpful. We had a very enjoyable, fun time - though the food was so good we ate way too much! We felt very at home. We’ll definitely be back again!

We had a delicious meal here- the service was exceptional and the food so fresh and delicious. Special shout out to the cannolo. Would definitely recommend visiting this delightful restaurant.

Second visit, first visit last summer week night as a couple, second visit this friday couple with a toddler, like day and night. We were welcomed last year and had a great time. Last night was a mess. Not a place for children under 3 as they have only one high chair in all the restaurant, then we booked online so we went there at the time of the booking the owner looks at me and says I've tried to ring you to confirm we'll I've not had my phone with me, so he said sorry but the restaurant is full so I can sit you outside!! The email doesn't say anything about confirmation by phone, whats point having a booking system online if u have to ring to confirm.!! then my husband went inside to chose a wine and was chatting with the owner about the grapes, but then when so.e regulars came, my husband was left behind like were not important. The food is good but the experience is not worth it, was so exited to go back since our good experience last year but then spoiled and for the price you pay, definitely not worth it so I'd rather spend my money somewhere else where we all feel welcomed. Went somewhere else for the dessert
