Im writing this in the garden of the former tonnara. It is a lovely lovely place and the guys running it are the very picture of hospitality. Im hanging around in my hammock, inthe background I can hear the sea and one of the guys just brought me my second cappuccino. Feeling 5 stars luxury pampered, highly recommended!

Great place to stay while on Sicilia, it is not stated on booking but they have real private beach i.e. private and room-related loungers with no other people. Friendly stuff, especially Alessandro who made our stay even more comfortable and "never to forget one"-ish. Add delicious breakfast with local dishes and you get best place ti stay in the coast.

Great apartments with the beach in front of it. Friendly staff and great breakfast. Your room is being cleaned every day. Hotel service actually. Beach beds with umbrella and beach towels are provided for. Only backlash is.that the seawater is quite cold compared to the seawater at the east coast of Sicily. The village of Sciacca has a nice center and the Valle di Templi (Agrigento) is about an hour away by car. All in all great value for your money.

Absolutely lovely apartments right by the BEACH. Friendly and helpful staff, perfect cleaning and super BREAKFAST every day. We definitely want to come back!

Beautiful place for families

Amazing!

I and my family stayed at the hotel’s beach only, but that was great enough to share an opinion. We rented some umbrellas and deckchairs just a few days, one of which happened to be extremely windy, so we had to leave, but when we came back the other day- the stuff remembered us and offered free stay that day. Such a nice gesture. In general the place seems really clean and lovely. If we ever come back to Sicily, La tonnara will be our destination.

We stayed three nights here in this beautiful location. The rooms are great and relaxing, the gardens outside colourful and the staff super friendly and helpful. Wi-Fi great. Breakfast delicious. The private beach close by was a bonus. A real treat!!

La Tonara di Sciacca is Sicily's undiscovered jewel. We, two families from Canada abd Israel, stayed in La Tonnara di Sciacca. The hotel is very clean, the staff were very friendly, kind and accommodating. Manuela, the owner of the hotel, runs a very tight shift. Every thing is working and she makes everyone feel like they are at home. The breakfast baskets are very generous. The guests are supplied with information about tours in Sciacca and surrounding areas and other useful information. Manuela is always willing to reserve you a restaurant, help booking a tour, and call for taxi and car rental. The location is unbelievable, right on the beach. I highly recommend this place.

Great place, great people! We were warmly welcomed by Emanuela and Daniele, the owners, for our two nights get-away in Sciacca. The room allocated was a crisp white comfortable room with a double patio (great for the Sicilian summer). Manicured garden all around and a discreet but efficient staff made us feel immediately at home. The place is literally by the sea! Abundant breakfast served with a twist of originality. A great suggestion for who wishes to explore Sciacca and nearby points of interest (plenty of it). Peace and tranquility. We wished we had stayed longer A place we shall certainly consider returning in the future. G
