If I could give -00000000 I definitely would !! On way to another dinner I saw Pier 88 Seafood and smiled for seafood.. Wow wow wow, no no no!! Sat at the bar and Shayna was so kind and happy and had all good to say about the food on the menu. Awesome, I was excited to start a tasty dinner 😊 First a tap beer.. Everything seemed great to stay to dinner. Calamari, fried pickles were fantastic and thought omg can’t wait for the entrée. The beer was tap Stella which is my favorite. Oh no, Stella was very bitter and by the time I left it smelled like vinegar, yuk !! Ordered a boil, 1/2 lb. shrimp 1/2 lb. black mussels, corn, potatoes in cajun garlic sauce !!!! Now came the even more so disappointing highly over cooked black mussels that were mushy tasting !!! Then the very orange colored shrimp !!! Yes definitely very overcooked !!!! Oh wait , to be fair the potatoes and corn were, OK … I left bagging the left over boil to treat someone on the corner !!!! Shayna removed the vinegar beer, but nothing else. Ok i left and wanted to give management a chance of redemption.. Makayla one of the managers I called and explained very very disappointing meal.. She responded with “bring left overs back” and they would remake the shrimp and mussels… I only asked for a comp for those two items so I could back back another time. $20 I tipped Shayna $8 on $38 tab Bottom line, DONT WAIST YOUR MONEY AND TASTE BUDS AT PIER 88 !!!!

Another one of those Seafood in a bag restaurants which are defined by the quality of their sauce. We found this sauce to be on the Bland side even though it was a mix of all of their sauces. Famous places like hot and juicy crawfish seem to have a better handle on Savory sauces which can be mild to very spicy. The menu is priced fairly for this type of seafood where virtually everything is frozen first. Lots of seating and nice service with plenty of TVs make it an okay dining experience. However, if you're a fan of this type of seafood in a bag experience you may find this one a little disappointing.

Fun atmosphere with great food. Prepare to get messy! They give you a bib and gloves. Definitely try the crab legs. So good. Good variety of flavors you can add to the crab legs. And different levels of spices. Well worth giving them a try. We will definitely be back for more.

We are one of the regulars here ( at least once a week ). If you want the best service, go to the bar area. Mckenzie is amazing and very attentive, but I can't day the same about restaurant seatting, Staff is very slow, and some of them are overweight. They are very slow. They do not want to communicate with you and can't recommend anything good. And when you do ask them, they say. I don't eat here, so I don't know

The food was great! Our server Jenny is attentive and kind~ she helped introduce their menu and the tools to use as our first time here. For the decent price, the signature combo with snow crab meat, shrimp, corn, sausages, and the 88 special (all the above) sauce was great and didn't taste fishy. I recommend the hot spicy level for a kick. The gloves were pretty big, so it was hard to use, but the flavors overall were great, and the atmosphere was bright

Great seafood boil. Always going there and love the steamed oysters with 88sauce hot & the seafood boil. Also tried the clams and green mussels boil, also good. I also enjoy their 88punch. I keep it in the bag so I can easily take the rest home with no mess. The service is amazing. See you there.

Well, we're gonna start out with the food, which was excellent. Took some home ate it the next day. The lobster salad is absolutely positively delicious. Hands down!!! however, the service?? A little lazy... Was not attentive nor really focused on the job. And I thought the dress was a little too relaxed. She needed on a little more clothing. But all in all, I'll go back. A little more professional, I would say she could have had a better professional appearance.
