I absolutely love this place got to get in free for raging river days and what a great place is it talks about the early history how Fairwood was home to a lot of different people. Just a great great thing to throwback some of Renton’s history. So much is not talked about but there’s a lot to come in and see. I highly recommend it.

Visiting Renton History Museum was worth every minute. The staff is nice and the exhibits were informative and interesting. We even took a walk after our visit to see the building that used to be the Renton Theater.

We really enjoyed a little Renton history this afternoon. Would have loved to see a little more about how the Native Americans used the land before white people took it away and the mystery of Honeydew and it's connections to Renton still lingers. Inquiring minds want to know! Sincerely though, thank you for all the work that's been put into this nice museum.

Still the wedding temporary exhibit but I know there are staffing issues in play. Pretty soon I will know more since I signed up to be a Saturday volunteer! Remember that the first Wednesday and third Saturdays are free admission!

Tried to volunteer here once. Had an appointment and everything. Even called ahead. Was refused access to enter. This happened around 2014 or so. This is a great museum but tours are best towards children. My mom and I tried once during open hrs a long time ago but got a shut door.

It was free for us today, which is good because if I'd had to pay for my family and I, I'd have expected more. It's quite small and simple as far as museum experiences go. We enjoyed the D&D exhibit, though it was missing a few important pieces of D&D history (like the red box Basic set).

Wonderful little museum to give quick and fun background on Renton, all at a small price. The people who work there are kind and helpful. A portion of the displays change every quarter or so. Definitely recommend this place.

It is a nice small museum. One of the better ones I have seen for smaller towns. I like that they have rotating exhibits every few months making it worth revisiting.

The displays on Renton were interesting. The current display of weddings and marriages was excellent, informative, and eye opening.

Charming local museum with emphasis on local life in the past 150 years. Worth visiting albeit small. Staff was very helpful and friendly.
