Very nice local museum. We came for the Tree Tour activity and also visited the museum. Very beautiful yard and good exhibitions. It is good to know the history of this area. Thank you.

This place is a gem hidden in plain sight. Not only is it beautifully restored and preserved, but the exhibits that have been donated from all over the area, tell an incredible story about the town and America, as a whole. The exhibits give an intimate glimpse into the lives of some of our Japanese citizens who were sent to internment camps during WW2. Additionally, we get insight into Ft. Thomas and how Carnation condensed milk got it's start. The old building remains, it's back visible at the Kent Regional Library. I highly recommend a visit. It's free, but well worth the recommended $2 donation.

I didn't actually go inside; I was here looking for a geocache and simply didn't have the time. The grounds are beautiful and full of little nuggets of information pertaining to Kent and the surrounding area. I look forward to returning when I have more time.

This is not Disneyland so probably don't bring people looking for an amusement park. That said, it is a choose your donation (cash in a donation box or use your card on their FB page) museum. If you can get them to give you a tour and tell you some stories it is well worth your afternoon! I enjoyed spending over two hours there. And, I've spent two weeks telling friends, family, and co-workers some of the cool things I learned!

This is a great place to spend time learning a bit about local history. Exhibits change frequently, so if you haven't been there in a while, go again. Then go have lunch just down the street!

This lovely old home is chock full of Kent lore as well as vintage appliances, music machines and local history bluffs anxious to talk about way back when. Brush up on your vision of how it all started and envision life as a wealthy family in an emerging town far from the big city.

The Kent Historical Museum has something for everyone! Research your roots, your home or business, learn all about the founding of Kent and what makes it special. Kent has always had a diverse population. The museum offers many opportunities to learn about the past, look forward into the future of our community and become involved in our community.

Free Guided tour was very friendly and informative and gave a very detailed idea of the surrounding area as well as some ideas of what it would be like living inside the house during the early 1900s. It was also described Kent's historical ties to fishing as well as what it would've been like being Japanese during the World War II intermanent camp time.

This is basically a mansion tour. There are some stories and artifacts from Kent's history. Lovely mansion with period furnishings not original. The staff guide was very knowledgeable.

Too small not much to visit for the 2$ of donation that is required.
