Riverview park is a nice park by the river in Maple Valley. Nice walking trails. You can walk across a bridge that goes across the cedar river. Nice long trails. I photographed a nice small pond on the other side of the Cedar River Trail by Riverview Park.

We stopped here to eat our lunch from Burger Addict down the road. Lots of parking and tables, though not many in the shade. The river below was busy with people floating in innertubes. Well maintained, restrooms, dog poop stations which I always appreciate.

Best place to take kids for cycling and short walk. Also we were lucky to see coho salmons in the river...

It used to be a safe and nice place to walk around the park and on the trail, but recently, I've seen a lot of drug activities and addicts around the park and on the trail.

Wide open park right along the Cedar River with lots of grassy areas to enjoy a picnic in. Parking is a limited though.

Such a cute park off a busy road. The walking path/biking path was scenic and beautiful. The blanket of trees above us kept us cool on a significantly warm day. Bathrooms were easy to find too which was nice.

Adequate parking, well maintained park, dog friendly, has restrooms, picnic tables, and a shelter. A forest filled with beautiful large old trees and open meadows. The trail follows a historic railroad route. It's paved, ADA accessible. Enjoyed by bicyclists, joggers, walkers. There are also off the main trail narrow side paths. Such a peaceful river walk.

Love this park and location however, getting in and out of the parking area can be very challenging due to the traffic and speed of the cars on Highway 169. Maybe it would be better to park at the old trestle parking area east of the park and walk back on the paved trail across the trestle. Go early during the warmer months as parking is somewhat limited there as well.

Cool park and I love the river. Beautiful view. Did not love the guy bicycling back and forth with an axe. But he didn't bother us and we didn't bother him so I guess it's okay. My main issue is the lack of other paths besides the main walk and the walkway through the small meadow. It's a very narrow park.

Well I'm kicking myself for not talking pictures but it was beautiful there. Some trash but for some reason people can't figure out how to throw stuff away. It's mind boggling. Other than that it's a great place. I loved it.

Lovely for a nice jog or a ride down from Renton to the golf course or hotdogs at the Café D'arte. Wish there weren't so many homeless wandering.

One of my favorite spots-bridges to stop, n stretch part way through my ride. Even more Incredible, when the sockeye are swimming up!

It was a super fun day for a walk along the trail. This trail has a great amount of trees for shade but spots for sun. It is suitable for kids.

Beautiful nature but I'm not feeling safe here.. 💔 In the wood a lot of homeless people and it's looking dangerous.
