This was one of the best trips I have ever been on. The beauty of the San Juan Islands is breathtaking, and kayaking was absolutely the best way to experience it. The food was outstanding, and the best part is that it is all cooked and served to the guests. From making the reservation to leaving the islands, the experience I had with Savor Seattle was nothing short of outstanding!

Matt was amazing, fun, and knowledgeable. He's a local and his love for the community of the Market is contagious. This was more than food tasting, it was an experience! Thanks Matt.

My family of four took the 8 am Sunrise Stoll Tasting Tour with Matt on a Saturday morning ahead of our Alaskan Cruise. What a perfect start to our day and an awesome way to fill the time before we could get on our cruise. My daughters aged 11 and 7 were engaged the entire tour. Each picking favorite stops to go back to quick for another taste before heading to our ship. The tour weaves through the stalls of the market place, with h samples adding up to the amount of a small meal on the end as advertised. Matt quickly got to know everyone in the group and built rapport with us as we headed out. The best part of the tour was how Matt new the locals and the locals know Matt. Each stop we were greeted by someone who knew, respected, and adored Matt. And through that trust would share their stories and attractions to the market. Matt's knowledge was more than food pairings and history, but extended to the pulse of the people that make Pile Place the magical place it is. Yes we got photo ops of produce and flowers. Yes we got photo ops of the neon signs. Yes we got videos of fish flying. None of that compared to the meeting and greeting of the people behind the scenes early in the morning as the market came to life. Our Alaskan cruise was amazing, but when people ask about the cruise and what they should do if they go on one, this tour is the first thing we blurt out. An awesome tour, with an awesome guide, with awesome food samples, and awesome stories, of an awesome place.

Such an outstanding experience to eat our way through the Market with Matt as our guide. The history was great. It’s prettier obvious these guys are the originators of the food tours in the Market by their interactions with all the vendors! Definitely recommend!!

Had a great time sampling all the good food at Pike's Place Market. Katya was an excellent guide! There is no sitting, so be prepared to eat and walk and stand. A good tour for the foodie in you.

Our Guide, Matt, was fantastic! We took the 10:30 AM tour and Matt showed us his true love of Seattle, Pike Place Market, Food, Facts, and Fun! The tastings were fantastic. Each was mixed with Matt's knowledge, insights and history of the establishments where each came from as well as many of the neighboring vendors and the people that make the Market so awesome. The tour gave us knowledge we never could have garnered by merely walking through The Market. Highly recommend this tour and Matt as a guide!

It is a must event prior you start exploring Pike Market by yourself. Do not waste time - get the your - you will have no regrets - tour guides are funny, entertaining, constantly joking, introducing you to the best of the best of Seattle food. I had with them 2 tours - savory one and chocolate one - both so worth every penny! Highly recommended!

We went on the kayak excursion - the food was amazing, the guides were wonderful, the sights could not be beat, and we were very lucky to be in such great company as well! It was a really phenomenal and low-stress way to be able to fully experience the San Juans for the first time.

Perfect 3-day getaway! Whether you're an expert kayaker or never have paddled before, the trip is very doable as the guides keep the pace so everyone can participate comfortably. We had good weather but it wouldve been fine even if we had a bit of rain or wind. The guides were extremely well-informed and prepared incredible food for us at every meal. So special to camp at the edge of a cliff overlooking the Puget Sound, on a state park/island only reachable via boat, while seals lounged below. One person (ahem, my husband) DID swim but I wouldnt recommend that, the water is quite cold. However we had good, comfortable spray skirts which kept us warm and dry. Very special trip!

Review for Gourmet Food Tour at Pike Place Market. The guide Stephanie was great, enthusiastic, informative and accommodating. Her intro was brief and informative, unlike the other tour group ahead of us. The food was good, and followed with story of the store and food; that was great. We mostly stand outside in group on busy street and waited for guide to bring out a tray of Hors d’oeuvre size food for tasting. The weather was sunny and warm; so it was a treat. Cannot imagine doing this in summer heat or rainy day; so always bring along an umbrella. AND your own water. Bottled water is available at $2 each.

Did the Gourmet Seattle tour today (Feb 2, 2017). 7 delicious stops. Found places we would have never been to without this tour. Food and wine was all delicious and our guide Heather did an excellent job showing us around, sharing some history, and describing the establishments we stopped at. Highly recommend.

I highly recommend this trip. It was such a luxury to enjoy camping without having to think about the logistics of kayak rental, location decisions, and food planning, purchase and preparation! The tour guides were incredibly informative and showed passion for the region's ecology, geology, and history. We learned a lot. They cooked gourmet meal after gourmet meal using locally sourced ingredients. We have two young kids whom we left behind with grandparents so that we could appreciate relaxing, but still being active.

Patrick was an amazing tour guide. He and the tour surpassed our expectations. He was funny and remembered our names. The food was incredible, and the tour was fun and informative. Pike Place Market has so much history, as do the people working there. Pictured below are just a few of the samples we were given. Should you find yourself in Seattle, I highly recommend taking this tour.

The tour was fantastic and that was primarily due to our tour guide Matt. His knowledge was extensive and his energy inspiring. It was great. There is so much to know and such great people to meet.

We had a phenomenal experience touring Pike Place Market with Savor Seattle. Our tour guide, Ron, was amazing. He knew all of the vendors personally, which gave the tour a personal touch. He was also very accommodating to my dietary restrictions (gluten free), and I was able to eat something at all but one of the stops. Overall, this tour was the highlight of our vacation, and I can’t recommend it enough!

Wonderful tour! I've been on other food tours this was by far the best. Amber was a great guide, taste portions were large and varied, accommodated food allergies & navigated the Market without using stairs. Great insight into the history/background of the places we visited and the market itself.

Our kayaking adventure was FANTASTIC! There were 14 paddlers and 3 guides on the tour. The group was diverse but became close quickly. The guides, Zak, Andrew and Clayton were exceptional in every way. They were very supportive on the water, very helpful in setting up and dismantling the camps, and they were awesome Chefs! The food was fabulous. Five stars for each of them! Angela, our trip organizer was also fantastic. We booked the trip before Covid so it was pushed off a year. Then I broke my wrist last year and Angela agreed to reschedule our trip to this year! The trip was well-worth the wait. I would highly recommend this tour. It is not for faint of heart though. Sleeping in a tent on a thin little mat is not the Sheraton. It was close to heaven though!

We took a tour with Sky and loved it. He is a great guide, knowledgeable, friendly and entertaining! We were able to try a variety of foods. Happy that we took the 10 o’clock tour because it’s not as crowded. One thing I would recommend, take the tour on your first day. Pikes Market is overwhelming so the tour is very helpful to learn your way around. Then you can go back to try more things! Thanks Sky!
