Renton has changed quite a bit since I’ve been here last and for the better. We had a late lunch after driving from Portland and this was such a great place! The decor and energy was lively and the food was amazing. We basically picked whatever sounded good and they were actually amazing! I always love enjoying new places with people and it’s so so much better when everyone is excited about trying different dishes. Everyone had to try every dish we ordered. You could randomly pick something from the menu and would not have a bad time. Prices here are reasonable! I was expecting it to be more expensive but was pleasantly surprised. This would be a great spot for casual lunch drop in if you were around shopping the area. Quality food at reasonable prices with fast service and energetic atmosphere. What’s not to like? Unless you’re a communist…

I’ve been looking for a place with soup dumplings for a while. Heard about this place from some friends and decided to try it out. Arrived at the perfect time and was seated right away. While looking through the menu and placing our order I noticed a line forming in the lobby and outside the door. You place your order & pay on your phone via QR code. It lets them know what table you are at and it’s set up like a bar tab where you settle at the end. The place looked very busy but still clean and our table was very clean. They have all kinds of seating options for all size parties too. Everyone who worked there had a mask on. They give you a menu to look at that has pictures but the menu on the phone that your ordering has more items available. Once we hit that submit button everything started coming out pretty quickly but not all at once. Eventually our table was super full with plates. Almost got one of everything here is our order w/ our personal opinion next to it Passion Fruit Green Tea *Amazing - I could drink this all day long. It’s so good. Sour Plum Juice*Amazing - I could drink this all day long as well. It was so good. Green Onion Pancake *Delicious - can’t go wrong with this light fluffy flavorful pancake. It’s a must! Sweet & Sour Cucumbers *Amazing - 1st let’s talk about the way it’s cut but still one whole cut up piece of cucumber. That was amazing in itself. Art on your plate! The sweet & sour sauce that’s poured over it was so good we dipped everything we had in it and it definitely takes it to a new level of deliciousness!!! Beef Potstickers *Delicious perfect temperature & tasty beef inside. Chicken Potstickers *Delicious perfect temperature and very tasty chicken inside Veggie Potstickers * Delicious these were the perfect temperature and oh so good better than the meat ones! Chicken Dumplings *Delicious - chicken had great flavor and the soup was the perfect temperature Zucchini & Shrimp Dumplings *tasted like sea water/didn’t like it Pork w/Crab Dumplings * pork overpowered the crab/didn’t like it Q Bao *Delicious its very hot on the inside but the meat was delicious and the steamed Bao bun was crispy on the inside as well as the bottom. Chicken & Veggie Wonton w/Chilli Sauce *Delicious Beef Stew Noodle *Delicious Dan Dan *too spicy to be able to enjoy it/didn’t like it Beef & lettuce sandwich *Delicious Banana Dessert *Amazing OMG by the time we got to this we were stuffed but we were determined to finish this! It was so good with the whipped cream topping. Overall this was a very nice experience and we will definitely be back!!

I’ll take one of each off the menu! Wow, first time at Dough Zone in Renton. 10/10 would recommend. The food had so much flavor and it was overwhelmingly delicious. Surprisingly the wait was not that long. For a table of two we were able to walk right in and get seated. Looked over the menu, numbered our dishes on the provide order menu. The food was delivered quickly. One thing we learned was eat the soup dumplings first so that the soup remains hot. The passion fruit and mango teas were refreshing! It was nice to pair that with some of the spicy dishes.

We had a wonderful meal at Dough Zone Dumpling House. The staff was friendly and the food was so so tasty! My personal favorites were the Pork Steamed Dumpling and the Dan Dan Noodles with Szechuan sauce! We all loved everything we were served however. Also the food arrived very quickly and hot which was a plus as we were in a hurry. For sure I recommend it, the whole family wants to go back.

I kind of think of this place as a more casual version of Din Tai Fung. The Renton location is located in a big mall area. Most of food items were good. Our one major complaint was that the shrimp and pork dumpling wasn't fully cooked inside. They took it off our bill and brought us another order of it. Nice sweet and sour cucumbers. Xlb were good and so was the Dan Dan noodles and mango green tea.

This place still has the great quality of food at reasonable prices. I missed that the orders come in 6 versus 10. The pork soup dumplings were still as tasty as I remember and the chicken one had a very good soup flavor to it. Their pan fried ones are one of the best. The steam buns were nice and soft with the exterior being easy to eat.

Wanted some dumplings on a whim - ended up here. The food was amazing. Service was chaotic feeling but you got refills and food quickly - not always just from your server but whoever was near. No complaints and my 3y/o and 9mo old ate everything we gave them (which in and of itself is a big feat!)

Love the food here! However as of recently they just changed their policy on payment. I usually go with 4 or more people that I work with when I go here. You used to be able to all pick your own food on a ticket and pay for that ticket. Now you are only allowed so many tickets per table and you can not split the bill with others at your table. I understand the less tickets per table to help the kitchen but not allowing the check to be split between people I don't understand. I'm not trying to be needy and add up what I and others ordered to sperate exact amounts. Just talking straight down the middle. Very frustrating.

I loved my experience at doughzone! I definitely recommend getting on the Yelp waitlist before you show up. The standout dishes for me were the chicken spicy wontons and the sweet and spicy garlic kale! The kale was definitely a surprise for me but it was incredibly delicious and had a great texture. I would not recommend the beef sandwich- It's texturally satisfying but has less flavor than you'd expect. Maybe the spicy one is better. Of course I couldn't pass up an opportunity to eat xiao long bao and it was delicious! The beef dumplings were also quite good. They knocked the sweet and spicy cucumber out of the park, as per usual. I loved the dining experience here, but if you have the time, I'd still recommend a dining experience in the International District if you're looking for a more authentic feeling establishment with better prices.

The food is amazing. I ordered the Q-Bao and the green onion pancake. Not only are the bao incredibly photogenic, biting into them is magical. These are warm pockets of tender meat and aspic, I can truly say that I enjoyed every single bite of these. The green onion pancake was crispy and super tasty! I had no idea what to expect but I’m really glad I ordered it. I don’t think you can go wrong with any food here. Everything is so good!

Love this place great dumplings at a great price. My favorite is the long boa soup dumplings they just explode with flavor in your mouth . Tried the zucchini and crab dumplings this time fried and they were delicious. Also got the Chicken and crab steamed dumplings which were excellent. Got some noodles this time didn’t know what half of them were but we got some and they were amazing. For how the nice the restaurant was I’m always surprised by how cheap everything is. Also the mango green tea iced was the most delicious drink I have had in awhile and it comes in a nice to go cup . Can’t recommend this place enough!

A very nice eatery. You could call it a restaurant, but for me the ambiance felt more like small plates or dim sum style. Although there is booth seating, it is mostly tables. Customer turn over is quick. I think most folks will be ready for their bill in an hour. Oh! There is a bar here too! I enjoyed my lunch here very much!

Be careful with the noodle you want to order, We had DanDan and another sour hot noodle. Both were not delicious, they actually had some awful weird taste like other ppl reviews. The bright side is the good looking Q-Bao and delicious banana naan cake. Parking is easy in this area. The dumplings were just ok, not super yummy. Hard to tell We would come back here again.

We got there around lunch on a Sunday. It was a bit busy but the staff worked fast and we didn’t have to wait too long for our food. We got the marinated pig ears, dandan noodles, soy noodles and 3 different dumplings. Everything was good and at a good price point!

Would recommend- ✅Xiao Long Bao : Soup dumpling. It can boiling hot, the trick is to poke the dumpling so the soup comes out in the soup spoon ✅Chicken Veggie Wonton with hot & sour sauce : they don’t seem to use industry style sauce, tastes unique. ✅Chicken potstickers ❌Q Bao : Pan Fried Pork Buns. The taste is 3/5 ✅Vegetable pot stickers ✅Dan Dan Noodles

The International district location is better, but this location is better than Issaquah. As you can tell, I’m a bit of a Dough Zone head! We bought the excellent Dan Dan noodles cooking sauce from here and I’m hoping to go back and get more if supplies are still in stock. We did a take out order from here. I ordered online and when I brought it home it was missing a salad we had pork buns! They were delicious but I really wanted a salad. There was also this mystery jar of pretty foul soup. We thought it might have even been dishwater!?! I emailed the store, but didn’t hear back. I would still order from this location in Dough Zone in general, they truly are great.

I tried their beef dumplings, chicken, and pork Xiao Long Bao. The chicken was the standout, followed by the pork and then the pork dumplings. It's not to say that the latter two weren't delicious, because they certainly were. I also highly recommend their beef noodle soup, especially during this chilly season. It's a warming and satisfying choice.
