Okay hear me out… this is the best food in Wa I’ve ever had and I’m born and raised here. This beats la hot chicken/waffles (if you know you know) it’s the quality of the meat and ingredients, you can tell EVERYTHING is made fresh. It’s so seasoned, butter comes already warm, not one thing I would change. The portion sizes are big and prices are beyond fair, and your supporting local- I mean come on. Fries- fire, chicken-fire, waffles-fire. I can’t say enough good things about this food do yourself a favor and order it.

Cinnamon Toast Crunch waffle and chicken 10/10 I had seen a lot of hype around this place and was finally able to go. Ordered online, picked up right on time. Buddy was super friendly and had me excited for the food he handed me in the bag. I had the joy of eating It fresh in the sun nearby. (For the love of God don't microwave this stuff at home 🤣) Chicken was incredibly juicy and fried perfectly. Waffles were super fluffy and tasty. Will definitely be coming back, go try it!

This place is the best! I have cravings for it all the time. Every single item on their menu is fire but the Cinnamon Toast Crunch Waffle and fried chicken is my fav. Also their mango lemonade is out of this world and fries. Anything you eat from Buddy’s is a winner!

First time eating this combo of a meal. It Definitely caught my eye and crave! I'm glad I've came across Buddys chicken & waffles on our news. Kept it Simple W/ Buttermilk Waffles - Along side my best friend who ordered Cookies n cream Waffles.. Overall it was an exciting meal! that had taken care of my breakfast & Lunch lol. Our portions were good. Chicken was PERFECT along with the Waffles! ABSOLUTELY WILL ORDER AGAIN. The combo was very satisfying! 🙌🏼

The food and service were incredible. I want to rate the atmosphere a 0/5 stars because you have to order on the phone and have your food brought to you in your car in the back of the restaurant in a parking lot. But the chicken was flavorful and delicious. 2 big pieces of fried chicken on top of a waffle. The waffle was soft and thin but easy to eat. The butter was soft too. I would prefer to eat in a restaurant and not in my car, but oh well. The guy who took our order and brought out our food was very friendly. The prices were very reasonable. There are no businesses around that will let you use their restroom.

TACOMANS! We had Buddy's Chicken & Waffles today. I had the original recipe with the corn waffle. Barry had Hot AF with the red velvet waffle. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

First time customer. The food was incredible! Unusual ordering experience for me but pretty straightforward. Order online and they'll text you a time to pick up (30min for me). Pull up behind the building at your time and call the number to let them know to bring it out to you. Super friendly too. I'll definitely make it a point to get food here when I'm in Tacoma!

The chicken and waffles were both really good! Didn't know it was a curbside pick up only business, but still recommend trying them out. Owner and employees were friendly.

Just come here. You won’t regret it. We got the Cookies n Cream and the Cinnamon Toast Crunch waffles w/ chicken. And we can’t wait to get our hands on the Red Velvet waffle! They DESERVE all their success!!

The flavor is on point, nothing out of a box with these guys, especially for the chicken strips. Usually strips don't have the same quality flavor as bone in. Waffles are perfect unless you like yours crispy. Sauces and seasoning are what set this place apart. Bourbon butter hot maple sauce goes good on the spicy AF chicken. If you're picky about crust, yes, the crust isn't glued to this chicken and comes off even though it's crispy/ has some crunch. I'll be back. You don't get chicken that you can taste that home made flavor a lot around here. No, waffle stop doesn't compare in waffles or chicken. Lol. Best waffles in town are at Alfred's. They straight up use half and half. If you can't get to an authentic chicken place, any gas station that says Cooper's chicken on it will have decent fried chicken, or Popeye's, or even if you can chicken from Han's which has dine in but again, you aren't getting that home made taste that these guys offer the same way. Pacific Southern is close to as good, but not as legit as this place. Oh, imo, best fast food fried chicken is Jollibe up by South center. Good luck on the chicken and waffles hunt.

first of all, i’ve never seen someone so happy to serve people their food. ❤️ you can truly tell buddy loves what he does! we got the red velvet waffle and the cinnamon toast crunch waffle both with chicken and (😮‍💨) lemme tell you… it was STUPID GOOD. 10/10! will be back next weekend for sure! 😌

Food is very good and flavorful. Had a slight mishap with my first initial order, but was resolved with my 2nd order. Very friendly and professional. My 1st ordered was the Strawberry Shortcake waffles w/ chicken and my 2nd order was the Banana Cream Pie waffles w/ chicken - I substituted the regular maple syrup for the Bourbon maple syrup on the 2nd order 😚👌🏾 Both were amazingly good. Highly recommend them both.

Absolutely delicious! Seriously the best chicken and waffles I've ever had. Our first time there, I got to meet Buddy himself and he was very kind, humble & service-oriented. The food came out QUICK and when I tell you I've never tasted better, I have NEVER. TASTED. BETTER. It's become a meal that we look forward to--that we will plan our other meals around.

Some of the best chicken and waffles I've had, but two problems. A lot more good than bad, which, the bad really isn't that bad. Aaaand there is plenty of parking while you wait. 1. it's only Togo/delivery.. Which means the only way to enjoy it at its prime, is in Togo containers, in the parking lot, while it's still super hot. Or you can wait until your home/delivered, but by then the food is slightly soggy. Never been a fan of Togo waffles. 2. Only one waffle in the order. It the price point I would have been happier with a second waffle. There is enough chicken to fill you up, but it does feel a tad bit over priced. Man is that food good tho. Just come with your own plate and immediately put it on the plate before eating in the parking lot. Just you wait. You will love it, but you will have to do a double take. Next time I'll be sure to try some of their drinks. I was driving when I ordered so I had to do it quick when I had the short windows of opportunities.

Order before hand because it’ll take a minute, to prevent from sitting outside for so long. Chicken was moist but not seasoned heavily, however the hot honey (which I’m assuming is the same across the board with all their sauces) slapped. So definitely get a sauce. The waffle was fluffy and crisp. Overall I’m pleased with it and it’ll be somewhere I hit up every couple of weeks or so.

Great Customer Service as Always! I was walking up to get the phone number to call and one of the employees bringing out someone else's food asked me about my order. I had actually forgotten to put in a note on my order and she went as far as to offer to remake it. Now that was completely on me and just a small preference, so I didn't see it necessary to have them remake it. But the great part is, it was offered. Now I've been here SEVERAL times and as par for the course, the food was amazing as usual...juicy, flavorful chicken with the best honey-mustard & House Made Ranch around. Waffle was 💯% 🔥 too. I just hope one day they'll have a sit-down restaurant 😉 👍🏽. None the less, it was a 10 as usual. Food's so right, I came back this time on my bike.

Photo doesn’t really do it justice. Wanted to compare to another chicken place that just opened and doesnt even compare. Chicken and fries had the perfect amount of seasoning and spice to it. Friends that had the waffles were delicious, will be back soon for the Mac and cheese dinner and waffles!

The ladies at my office have spent months telling me that I have to try Buddy's Chicken and Waffles--and it finally happened. Today, I decided to treat the ladies at the office with lunch from anyplace that will deliver--coincidentally, when I arrived at the office this morning, the ladies had already begun their morning by drooling puddles over Buddy's latest gastronomic creations on social media. Naturally this was their first choice--no hesitation. I've never seen grown women turn into the proverbial fat kid in a candy store so fast. Being that I've only ever had chicken and waffles once before--this was an absolutely pleasant surprise for my taste buds. I had the strawberry shortcake waffle with chicken tenders with hot honey on the side. WOW! This is breakfast lunch and dinner all in one! The ladies both had the sweet potato cheesecake waffle with chicken tenders. The flavor was delicious! The fresh lemonade and sweet tea are also a delightful sweet treat for a hot day (or a pick me up from the overcast weather out here). The seasoning on the chicken was superb and the breading was crispy and chicken was still moist and delicious! Each bite was like an explosion of flavor. The waffles were crispy on the outside and deliciously fluffy on the inside. There is a perfect balance of sweet and salty flavor. You will definitely want to take a nap afterwards!
