Nice 4mile loop, narrow path up the hill with beautiful views. You might see cows.

I love this little 4 mile or so loop. Not strenuous with fairytale views of winding pathways through gentle rolling hills.

Great hiking loop, easy to find parking lot, 4 miles round trip, gradually climbed up hill for the first halfway and all down hill for another half. Awesome view of the valley, easy hike for everyone, very peaceful, I love this trail, nice for work out... I will come back.

Coyote Valley Open Space Preserve is hands down one of the most beautiful Open Space Preserves in the Bay Area. The parking lot on the location is a bit small, so make sure you reach a bit early so that you don't have to wait for a spot. The valley is mesmerizing and the views are absolutely stunning. You can see cows grazing in lush green meadows. The place is awesome and I'm short of words to describe the natural beauty. The trail is a one way trail and has a bit of a gradient. Must visit place in Bay Area!

This is an amazing place to hike. Not too crowded but enough people to feel safe. Lots of raptors and other birds. The wildflowers in the spring are great. There are several species of lupin as well a most of the regulars in the area.

Lovely place. Starts with a lush open meadow. Then you get great vistas of the Coyote Valley from higher up the trail. Great single track, undulating, with pockets of shade.. Currently lots of wildflowers.

Very beautiful and relaxing. Got a chance to see cows and horses. 4 miles trek was also good enough for stroller. There is elevation initially (~2 miles) but that is worth due to awesome view at top and relaxing experience while coming down. Parking is very limited.

Fantastic trail. Great for young kids. Just make sure you bring water because it can get hot. Also, we had our car broken into so please don't leave valuables and lock your car doors and roll up your windows.

Great hiking loop! This trail is about 4 miles in length and gradually climbs up the hillside to the top. The views are spectacular and wildlife is abundant. Parts of the trail are shaded. Overall my hiking experience was very peaceful and refreshing.

Always a good place to hike. Still quite a few wildflowers and green green hills. Only a few people out and a couple of cyclists, who were going slow and were polite, a real must, when cycling on narrow trails shared with hikers

Nice open area (rare and attractive in Bay Area). After the grasses had turned green, it is more beautiful.

great short hiking spot with a wonderful view of the valley. kind of hot and exposed in the summer but perfect on a cool day or late afternoon because of the strong breeze

Myself and my kids went for a hike with friends to this place. The valley is quite beautiful with the Golden poppies at the foot of the mountains. The hike was an easy one even for the kids. The weather was hot on that day but yet it was windy and shaded at places, which we enjoyed very much. There are few benches on the way to sit and enjoy the view, also to take a quick rest if needed. We took more than 2 hours to complete the trail loop stopping for snacks and the view once we reached the top. All in all we all thoroughly enjoyed the hike.
