Our
recent
stay
at
JW
Marriott
Hills
Country
in
mid-September
was
quite
disappointing.
We
had
booked
a
long
weekend
with
high
hopes
of
enjoying
the
spa
and
a
special
dinner,
even
bringing
along
formal
attire
for
the
occasion.
However,
upon
our
arrival,
we
were
informed
that
there
were
no
available
restaurant
reservations
for
either
of
our
days.
The
initial
lack
of
a
warm
welcome
was
noticeable,
and
we
had
to
carry
our
own
suitcases
to
our
room.
To
add
to
our
frustration,
there
was
no
complimentary
water
in
our
room
as
promised.
Additionally,
we
were
told
we
would
receive
a
free
breakfast,
but
this
benefit
was
denied
to
us
during
our
stay.
Given
the
premium
price
we
paid
(over
$450
per
night
as
per
points),
our
expectations
were
understandably
high.
Regrettably,
our
experience
fell
far
short
of
those
expectations.
We
believe
that
JW
Marriott
Hills
Country
should
provide
superior
service
to
its
elite
Marriott
guests
and
all
guests
paying
a
premium
for
their
stay.
As
a
result,
we
can
only
rate
our
stay
as
a
5/10.
We
hope
that
these
issues
can
be
addressed
for
future
guests
to
ensure
a
more
enjoyable
and
satisfying
stays.
Plus
the
hot
tub
was
very
cold
and
pool
today
in
the
morning
was
freezing.
The
temperature
of
water
was
not
offered
and
the
pool
service
was
very
limited.
The
bottom
line
-
our
experience
with
this
property
was
not
great
and
we
are
not
planning
to
return
there
in
future.
We
would
recommend
that
you
inform
your
hotel
guests
about
availability
of
your
restaurants
and
at
least
to
provide
the
best
alternatives
for
their
dining.
The
concierge
service
is
absolutely
necessary
and
a
must
in
hotels
of
this
caliber
and
it
should
be
provided
to
your
guests
who
come
there
from
multiple
destinations
to
spent
some
very
special
time.
